10/07/2025: Excellent service, the background music is very cool. The drinks are not too expensive. We have a good time in this cafe. Except that as a foreigner, it can be a bit apprehensive, but the service is excellent.

27/06/2025: How can I put it? Your next HQ is a no-brainer: the Café de France. A beer before a concert? A little hunger before the movies? A quick bite to eat between noon and two? Inside or out, they'll always bend over backward to please you. A place I adore, run by a team as friendly as they are attentive, a friendly atmosphere, charming decor, and a warm setting. A million miles from these new, trendy, cold, and soulless places: here, the name takes on its full meaning.

10/02/2026: I had the best food here in all of Les 2 Alpes! We came in at opening, they had place available, but one hour in, the place was packed. Had the Hot Box of Cheese, with potatoes and cold cuts ... amazing! Also tried the choucroute, very big portion, a lot of different meats, and potatoes. The staff: very friendly and helpfull. If you're in town and looking for food: do stop here!

24/01/2026: *** A Mixed Experience Previously impressed by the quality of the sashimi, this last visit left a bitter taste. While the meal wasn't disastrous, the accumulation of minor and major problems and hygiene issues is hard to ignore at this price point. ***Experience Details - Tempura: "Reconstituted" shrimp on a bed of white rice and cabbage. The starch/fried combination is heavy and rather clumsy; a bed of vegetables would have been much better, perhaps with the rice served on the side. - Main Course: Rolls/Sushi at almost €20. The portion of fish was far too small for the price. The crispy rolls were very strange and not very interesting in terms of texture. - Hygiene: Limescale-covered/dirty toilets, neglected light switches, marks on the walls. Some unset tables with stains. This is a major drawback; hygiene should be impeccable. *** Key takeaways The value for money is no longer there. I would rather pay €25 for a decent dish than leave hungry with ingredients that seem to have lost their quality. The visual presentation (rice under the fryer) and especially the cleanliness of the restrooms are issues that require immediate attention.

21/12/2025: It had been over 10 years since my last visit (as I no longer live in the area), and what a pleasure it was! 😊 The flavors were delightful, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the service was neither too fast nor too slow. The truffle burger was delicious, the bun was wonderfully soft, and the fries cooked in fat were perfect too (a slightly larger plate would have been ideal!). The only downside was the non-alcoholic cocktail (I didn't note the name) with caramel and saffron; it wasn't very strong at all, which was a bit disappointing. We didn't have to wait for a table, as the restaurant is reservation-only. But otherwise, everything else was excellent: the dishes were varied and flavorful, and the presentation was lovely. It's wonderful to have a restaurant like yours here! Thank you! 🤗

30/01/2026: Fantastic! 🤗 Thank you for this wonderful birthday dinner. We were very well served, and I even got a cake with a candle at the end! The mezze were all absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very cozy. 🙂 Plus, there were plenty of vegan options. 👍 Perfect!

29/12/2025: We came as a group on December 25th and had a wonderful time at Le Mezze restaurant in Grenoble. The experience was enjoyable, the atmosphere pleasant, and above all, the food was delicious and very generous. The all-you-can-eat Syrian buffet offered a wide variety of tasty and well-prepared dishes.

22/01/2026: Good slope restaurant with really efficient and friendly service. Food was good and very quickly delivered. As it's on one of the main slopes it is easy to pop in and book a table for lunch.
