30/06/2026: What a pleasure it was to stay at the Auberge des Montauds! We received a warm, welcoming, and friendly reception that immediately made us feel at home. Located above Villard-de-Lans, the inn offers a peaceful setting in the heart of nature. If you're looking for tranquility, greenery, and a real breath of fresh air, you'll be delighted. It's also a little paradise for motorcyclists. Our room, while modest in size, was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our stay. We also greatly appreciated the shaded terrace, ideal for enjoying the excellent half-board meals, which were generous and carefully prepared. Breakfast was equally delicious, varied, and plentiful—the perfect way to start the day. A big thank you to the entire team for their kindness and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return to continue exploring this magnificent region. Brigitte & Serge

30/06/2026: What a great find! Passing through at the end of my motorcycle road trip, I truly enjoyed everything here. The location, quite secluded in Bois Barbu, is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I love the layout of both the grounds and the inn itself. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The comfort is definitely appreciated. The half-board meals are home-cooked, prepared with quality ingredients. The dishes are appetizing and delicious. A garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles, which is a nice touch. A place to definitely remember in the area!

26/09/2026: Reservation for 37 people for a business lunch. The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to choose our menus on the day and providing a small private room just for us. There was a good selection of menus, and the dinner was excellent.

17/07/2026: I went to eat at this kebab restaurant with my family. We were tired because we had just arrived in Grenoble, and this kebab really cheered us up. I personally ordered the Mich Kebab, and it was a real treat. The meat was delicious; I've never eaten such a good kebab. The bread was crispy, and we were served in less than 7 minutes—everything was perfect. The gentleman was really kind, which was a pleasure. We spilled some Coke on the table, and he rushed to clean it up, whereas in other restaurants, you have to clean it up yourself with your napkins. Honestly, it's a shame this kebab shop isn't located near my home; otherwise, I would go there all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant for both its quality and its atmosphere! Thank you, Ô Syphax, for this superb meal!!

24/01/2026: The service was pleasant, but there were a few oversights/delays, even though there were only six of us and we arrived early. The food was quite original (a nice change) and generous (specialty burger + salad & fries), but the menu wasn't very varied. And I certainly would have enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining room more if I'd been further from the back (music videos on a big screen + proximity to the restrooms). But I'll probably go back; I'd like to try other dishes.

10/10/2026: A REAL restaurant...like in the old days. Delicious food. I opted for meat and frankly: I wasn't disappointed. Tender and cooked exactly as requested. The service is provided by the gentleman (since his wife is in the kitchen) and there too, top-notch 👍 Nothing to complain about. One thing is for sure: I'll be back.

31/10/2026: A wonderful discovery in Grenoble! We had a fantastic time at Deux Neuf Deux, where everything exudes homemade quality and a passion for good food. We had a direct view into the kitchen, allowing us to watch the dishes being prepared with complete transparency. The menu, though short (two starters, two main courses, and two desserts), is particularly appealing and immediately inspires confidence in the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each dish. As a couple, we sampled everything on the menu: a truly flawless experience! Perfectly balanced flavors, originality, and beautiful, unusual combinations. The value for money is also excellent. Add to that the great wine recommendations, and you have a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend. The welcome was also very friendly and warm. An authentic, creative, and generous restaurant—the kind we wish we could find more often. We will definitely be back!

01/10/2026: What a delightful surprise this charming restaurant was, tucked away this evening on the dimly lit Rue St. Laurent... We tiptoed in, afraid of disturbing the two artists bustling about in the kitchen. The welcome was gentle and serene, much like the ambiance emanating from the understated yet warm decor. We ordered the dishes listed on the small chalkboard that served as the menu. We were eager to discover the creations presented to us by the young man who also worked at the kitchen counter. The mere description of each dish's composition was a poem, an invitation to travel. There seemed to be so many ingredients in each dish: vegetables, fruits, infusions, compotes, spices, flowers, and oils of every kind. We were curious to taste this culinary inventory. After a few minutes (everything unfolded before our eyes, from the preparation to the cooking and plating of each dish, with a genuine rapport between the two chefs), we were served delicious food. Everything came together perfectly in this starter called Ajo. The cherry tomatoes arranged in a garland around the plate and the strawberry wedges beautifully complemented the chilled almond soup, smooth and generously flavored with garlic and other, less-than-perfect notes (balsamic vinegar? Sesame oil?). We loved it! Thomas ordered a sea bream, tender and meltingly soft, served on a bed of slender zucchini and a pepper compote, along with many other ingredients. I enjoyed a basil and zucchini risotto, topped with a magical emulsion sprinkled with flowers. Absolutely divine! We didn't have time to try the desserts, as we were already running quite behind schedule for the evening. We're sure they would have been a delight for all five senses! We'll have to wait for another (very) time. Thank you to the two artists who took us on a journey into their culinary passion (for a reasonable price and in perfect portions). Come here to this charming restaurant, almost hidden from the street. Venture a few hundred meters away from the "Pizza Wharf" to immerse yourself in this delicious and unique world.
