30/05/2026: Initially, this wasn't the restaurant we'd chosen. However, the menu at another restaurant didn't appeal to us, so we decided to try here. And frankly... WOW... Superb, succulent, captivating, an explosion of flavor from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for these magical meals!

02/08/2026: The food is delicious, from the beef txulet and baby squid to the appetizers and desserts. We came with friends in the middle of July. The restaurant wasn't full, and the terrace was very pleasant. The servers were friendly and professional. We'll gladly come back!

04/08/2026: A real find just off the A63 motorway. Tired of roadside food, take the exit towards this village and you'll find a set menu for €16, or €18 with dessert. Quality French cuisine. Start with a Greek salad or a wonderful cream of mushroom soup with cheese. For the main course, choose between duck with pepper sauce or pork loin with sweet potato purée...delicious. Dessert is ice cream with meringue or apple pie. Is it really worth eating a questionable sandwich for €12 when you have this just 5 minutes away? Highly recommended.

31/07/2026: Very disappointed with our visit during the holidays. I do not recommend the pizzas, the meal boxes, or the fries: the value for money is really poor. A €17 pizza for such disappointing quality, not to mention the rest… I do not recommend this establishment.

11/07/2026: It's very rare that I leave a negative review for a restaurant, but this time... To be clear, it was my birthday, and I was there at my children's invitation. It was the night of a France match, ouch... It was already an hour and five minutes before our aperitifs arrived. One of the waiters made a rude remark to my mother, who wanted a different dessert than the one on the menu but of a similar price, saying it wasn't possible, adding: "That wouldn't be called a menu, madam..." I've been to more accommodating restaurants, and the tone he used was very harsh. The meal dragged on... And finally, after we'd had our starter and main course, we were waiting for them to clear our plates and offer us dessert, but no, everyone was busy setting the tables for the next day. I'd had enough, and we left then. Thanks for the lovely birthday meal; it won't be one for the history books. The food is okay if you order duck, but given the price, I ate better the next day at a farmers' market.

11/07/2026: A wonderful experience during a road trip with my husband… he had the Southwest tasting menu, and I had a chicken leg with mushroom sauce… (it was delicious!) A magnificent setting, a fantastic team… THANK YOU AGAIN 🙏 We highly recommend it 😉 Go without hesitation 🤩

05/07/2026: I had a truly wonderful experience there. The value for money is unbeatable, especially in this region. Furthermore, the menu changes weekly, which is a very nice touch.

04/07/2026: Guy was absolutely lovely to us, a truly original and passionate person who loves his work. The meal deal was fantastic. Beautifully presented dishes with original recipes, delicious desserts, and complimentary coffee from a friendly waiter. And all that for 17 euros—bravo! We'll definitely be back. 12/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, we had the €23 set menu: prawn bouquets with superb aioli, grilled monkfish tail with rice and peppers cooked with onions, and tiramisu – nothing to complain about except that it was excellent. A very pleasant and smiling waitress. Malou

08/08/2026: We ate at Le Scaphandre tonight. It's undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Capbreton. The portions are very generous, the food is delicious, and the value for money is perfect! Special mention for the hake, which is absolutely enormous.

20/06/2026: We came to celebrate my parents' 80th birthday over the Ascension weekend… Flo and her team welcomed us to the Apostles' Table… and we had an unforgettable experience… A magnificent table, impeccable service—if there were a 6/5 rating system, I would give it to this establishment! A huge thank you to Flo and her team.

16/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! The concept and the food are original. Everything on the menu is excellent. The setting and atmosphere are pleasant. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: A rather mixed review. The meat was very good, but the side dishes were meager—just a small bowl of potatoes for two people. We had to ask three times for our drinks, and the carafe of water arrived almost at the end of the meal (even though we ordered it with the starter). The first bread basket contained only three small slices for two people...? The staff didn't seem unhelpful, but they were quite overwhelmed. It's worth noting the attentiveness and apologies of the only male waiter (I believe).

14/07/2026: We had delicious and hearty Landes salads.

11/07/2026: We arrived with high hopes, left disappointed. The buns of our two burgers were soggy and the insides were freezing cold (it's the first time in 28 years I've been served a cold dish in a restaurant). It was certainly made in advance and frozen, then thawed, but not enough. The fries were more like potato wedges, and there were only a few grams of arugula. The pepper sauce also looked questionable, and the white wine wasn't chilled, making for a rather unappetizing experience. The terrace was nice enough, but the inside smelled like my grandmother Eliane's house (may she rest in peace). The service wasn't unpleasant, but it was unprofessional. The prices were reasonable, but the food was so-called "food." In the end, the pine forest was anything but gourmet.

04/07/2026: We were only served two of our four dishes; I had to wait over 40 minutes before eating mine while the rest of the table had finished theirs. A long wait for so few customers, which is a shame, as the previous owner was excellent.

24/07/2026: Superb, welcoming restaurant with attentive waiters. Great view. The pan-seared foie gras was perfect, as was the duck breast and the duck confit. A wonderful discovery!

24/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening. The dinner was delicious, the welcome warm, and our table overlooking the lake was lovely. We even had a wonderful surprise for our wedding anniversary. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

04/08/2026: Finally, a restaurant in Mimizan that truly stands out! Here, there's no mass-produced food or fast food disguised as a restaurant: everything is homemade, generous, family-style, and prepared with passion. The portions are substantial, and the chef himself serves and chats with his customers, adding a real touch of conviviality. A big thank you also to the owner, who welcomes and serves with such kindness, good humor, and a smile that you'll want to come back. An authentic place that truly makes a difference, and one I recommend without hesitation!
