24/09/2026: Why two stars for service when the staff was perfectly adequate? Because the waitress only showed us the engraved board with the €45 set menu and the à la carte menu, while there was a chalkboard with a much cheaper option (which was clearly a hit with the regulars around us). We were just passing through... So we opted for the €45 set menu, which boasted homemade cuisine with local produce, etc. We figured that since we were paying a lot, we were going to enjoy a delicious meal. Big mistake! The chef must have been having some issues that day (or I beg you, change chefs if you insist on offering €45 set menus) because for me, absolutely nothing was good. The burrata and tomato salad wasn't seasoned; I had to ask for salt and pepper to get any flavor at all. The pork was inedible, so dry, and the ratatouille was so bland you'd have to be absolutely starving to eat it—I left a good half of my plate. I ordered sorbet for dessert, thinking that at least... I got two measly scoops, and it wasn't the kind of ice cream you actually enjoy. The industrial whipped cream on top was also unpleasant. In short, a disaster. We were furious that we'd paid 45 euros for this. I mentioned it to the waitress, who said she'd inform the chef. But the chef didn't bother to do anything about it. My partner enjoyed his dessert, but otherwise, he was just as furious. Paying 100 euros for this? No way! I don't like giving negative reviews, but this was simply unacceptable. So, if they only offer you the €45 menu (or the à la carte menu but not the daily specials board), run away!

02/09/2026: We started our stay in Ondres with a takeaway pizza from Baggio, and we loved it so much that we went back a second time that week! We took the pizzas to the beach and enjoyed them there. The food was delicious, but what we loved most was the warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners were lovely, had a really nice family vibe, and were genuinely interested in where we came from. Definitely a place we would recommend!

14/08/2026: A superb spot for takeaway pizzas in Mimizan! Il Gato's pizzas are delicious, with a thin, light, and crispy crust, and perfectly balanced toppings. Having the privilege of having some highly regarded establishments in Blagnac, including a world pizza champion, I can say without hesitation that Il Gato truly holds its own. A wonderful discovery: quality, deliciousness, and expertise are all there. Bravo!

23/09/2026: This bakery is exceptional! I have such fond memories of their cream puffs and bitterly regret living on the other side of town. It would be a bit much to move closer... although... Each pastry looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale, and I should have bought more than just the cream puffs, and two other pastries for a friend. I had a terrible time giving them to her. When she finally had the package, I kept saying, "Give them to me, because it's my birthday and I want them! My preciouss!!!" In short, Antone is a wonderful establishment that I highly recommend!

05/07/2026: We have never been disappointed by La Taverne de Saint-Pierre-du-Mont, where, on each of our visits, we are warmly welcomed in a lovely, modern, and comfortable setting, and where the choice of dishes is extensive. We highly recommend the sauerkraut, of course, the duck breasts with their sauces, and of course, the must-try floating island for dessert. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit!

14/10/2026: So when something's good, you have to say so, and maybe even shout it from the rooftops! A delicious lunch: starter, main course, and dessert, all homemade with fresh ingredients, prepared by a real chef. Real flavors, real ingredients, designed and cooked on-site for a very low price, with friendly service and a smile. It might seem obvious, as a salesperson by trade, but this kind of place offering such quality at this price... is becoming very rare! Which is why you absolutely must go to this restaurant. Locals, vacationers, business travelers, and those on a date, ladies and gentlemen, go and enjoy some truly excellent food. Your taste buds will thank you. Thank you to the owner and his team.

11/10/2026: A great place to eat fresh fish. We ate there on a Sunday during the second seating, around 1:30 pm, so there were fewer people in the restaurant. The portions were generous (we said generous, not just small, 😉 to the waitress) and very tasty! We'll definitely be back!
