15/07/2026: They treated us very well. First we went to a nearby restaurant (Au coeur des landes) and they wouldn't serve us. Then we went to Le Mille Pattes because it was close to the other one and also had very good reviews, and it was a good decision. It was full of people and yet we were able to get a table in no time. The food was homemade and delicious. For €20 per person, a buffet of starters, a main course and a buffet of desserts. The service was very friendly and nice. The amount of people there said it all.

11/04/2026: A true Landes gem – refinement, hospitality, and emotion We discovered L’Expression somewhat out of curiosity… and what a revelation! From the moment you arrive, you immediately sense that you're in a special place: a welcome of rare kindness, sincere and natural, the kind you see less and less. You feel expected, almost privileged. On the plate, it's simply remarkable. The cuisine is refined, masterful, and inventive, with fresh and perfectly prepared ingredients. Each dish is as beautiful as it is delicious, a true pleasure for the eyes and especially for the taste buds. It's clearly on a level approaching fine dining, without ever becoming excessive. The setting further enhances the experience: a calm, elegant place, with that soothing atmosphere typical of the Landes region, where you can take the time to savor the moment. What stands out most is the perfect balance between quality, generosity, and simplicity. Nothing is overdone, everything is just right. A rare, almost secret address, the kind you want to keep to yourself… but one that deserves to be known. One thing is certain: you come once out of curiosity, and you return because it's obvious.

22/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise. The food was beautifully presented. And the bill was really reasonable compared to some places that are more expensive and of lower quality. I didn't even have dessert because the menu offered chocolate desserts with fruit... which I'm not a fan of... but it was great because my friend had a gourmet coffee which was delicious, so I enjoyed it too 😁 I'll definitely be back

03/05/2026: As pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, we had a truly wonderful time at L’Escalandes. The welcome was warm and the meal excellent. Marina is a lovely person, full of kindness. We had a problem with blisters, and she did everything she could to help us. We are from Pas-de-Calais and hope to have the opportunity to return. A big thank you!

27/07/2026: It is beautiful, i only have been to the restaurant but it is DELICIOUS it is €16 for chicken some thing with crispy things and a desert and soup it is DELICIOUS!!!!!
