05/04/2026: Dinner with friends. Attractive menus. Very good meal, beautiful presentation, wide selection, very convivial atmosphere. I recommend it.

14/03/2026: Passing through Vendôme for a visit, we stopped at the restaurant "Au Rond Point de Serviette." Arriving a little late, the very friendly waitress still seated us. We had a small aperitif, a main course and dessert set menu, hake fillet and crème brûlée for him, and a gourmet coffee for me. Homemade dishes! We ate very well! A great place to remember!

The service is fast, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. You feel right at home, with a regular and friendly clientele. A real pleasure to spend time there.

19/03/2026: We spent lunch with friends, a truly delightful experience for our taste buds. The foie gras was excellent. The sirloin steak was superb, and the accompaniments were perfect. The French toast was delicious. The Sologne atmosphere was lovely. And the waitresses and chef provided impeccable service, checking on us with every course.

11/04/2026: A box of chocolates, a gift from my brother and sister-in-law from Bles to us Occitans. It's fabulous! The chocolates are delicious, they melt in your mouth, it's wonderful. A truly excellent chocolatier!

07/04/2026: Passing through Blois from Poitiers, I stopped to buy some Blois cobblestones and couldn't resist two pastries: a lemon meringue tart and a passion fruit cream, highly recommended by one of the saleswomen. They were delicious! Thank you to the saleswomen for their warm welcome and helpful advice. I will definitely be back on my next visit.

09/04/2026: Avoid this place for bread! The bread is soggy, barely cooked, and tastes like plastic. The star rating is solely for the pastries and other treats, which are good, although a bit pricey. :) The service was very friendly.

11/12/2025: We stayed here for one night in August and were really disappointed. The grounds look nice at first, but the noise from the main road is terrible at night – with the windows open it’s almost impossible to sleep. Our room (a “cottage”) was very uncomfortable and clearly in need of serious renovation; it felt like staying in an old relative’s house that hasn’t been updated in decades. The kitchen was also a letdown: the food was bland, nothing tasted fresh, and overall it felt more like a cheap canteen than a hotel restaurant. On top of that, the staff were surprisingly unfriendly and unhelpful, which only added to the negative impression. For a stay that cost us over 200 euros for just one night, the value for money was awful. Between the noisy location, uncomfortable room, poor food and rude service, this place is absolutely not worth the price they charge.

16/11/2025: This restaurant ticks all the boxes. The place is beautiful and authentic. The portions are generous and the service impeccable.

08/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! Only the photo of the hotel taken from the front is accurate; all the others are completely outdated. It's a scam, and there's no pool, and the Wi-Fi doesn't work. The ground-floor room was cold and damp, heated by an old, noisy air conditioner—we had to turn it off at night in late October! There were huge dust bunnies under the bed, with a box for insects? What kind? I'd rather not know... dust everywhere. The bathroom had no heating, the pipes were starting to rust, and the shower was filthy. This place isn't even worthy of being called a hotel room. The dining room was dark with plastic-covered tables, and the food was definitely not 3-star. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

06/04/2026: A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival, like coming home to a holiday cottage. The generous and varied breakfast makes you want to linger. The location is ideal for fully enjoying the Beauval Zoo. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and well-heated, and the secure parking provides true peace of mind. I highly recommend this place.

21/04/2026: Super bakery: very warm welcome, fresh sandwiches prepared in front of us, citrus tart worthy of a Meilleur Ouvrier de France! A very good address in Blois, a must-visit.
