23/09/2024: Peu vraiment mieux faire. Buffet d'entrées : 5 malheureux bols de légumes (tomates cerises, carottes râpées, concombre, betteraves, p de t), 1 petit plat de hareng, 1 petit Saladier salade lentilles et quelques tranches de charcuterie. Un peu léger pour 9,50 € ou 13,50 si seul. La viande est bonne mais on regrette que les frites ne soient pas faites maison. Repas pour 2 buffet entrées et 1 plat sans boisson, ni essert et ni café 52 €. Cher pour un déjeuner.
Je regrette également la présence nombreuses de toiles d'araignée un peu partout.
Par contre l'accueil est agréable.

03/09/2024: Very nice but do not know how to cook the marine mussels which arrive half cooked, some even raw. Hence a lot of losses. Also some mussels so small that they are inedible!! The sauce was good. Good fries and ice cream.
02/09/2024: Restaurant very well located at the foot of the castle and not too expensive. I had a croque-monsieur, fried salad for €9.90, very good. My husband enjoyed a very good Roquefort mussels and fries too. We were served very quickly.
The toilets are clean.
The only downside was the salted butter caramel crepe, not salty enough for my taste.

Food delicious: all three courses. Fresh, vibrant & slightly unusual flavours.
Friendly, attentive service.
View/setting superb overlooking river & beautiful buildings opposite as the sun set; a relatively quieter end of town yet still with a good amount of bustle to give atmosphere.

26/09/2023: We were wonderfully welcomed with family for the wedding weekend. The rooms are very clean and very well decorated in the gîtes. Very comfortable beds. Parking in the courtyard. Well soundproofed, no noise during the night even if it was a little short. Top breakfast. We will recommend this very beautiful place to our friends passing through the region.

14/09/2024: We have just eaten in this restaurant, my mother and I, during our visit to Chambord and we are not leaving with anything!
The servers are fast and attentive despite the rush of customers.
The dishes are good with excellent value for money. Desserts too!
Finally, the setting is very pleasant! Very quiet, clean and on a charming little square.
We recommend!!!

08/09/2024: Not cool, during our stay, we want to take advantage of one last moment to drink a coffee on the terrace, the manager, a man of a certain age, comes and goes and after 30 minutes no hello from him, not friendly, turns away customers to say that the tables are reserved for eating, so we left and had a coffee at SOAN, fast service, friendly finally thanks to the waitress at SOAN

14/08/2024: If you go to Vendome, don't hesitate for a second, the restaurant is family run, the gentleman does the service and the lady is in the kitchen.
They are truly from India and therefore the dishes served are absolutely delicious.
For me every time it is a real pleasure to come and taste these wonderful dishes from this magnificent country.
Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Vendome.

08/08/2024: Excellent ! The balance of spices is perfect, the rice very fragrant. The dishes are served in small chafing dishes and remain hot throughout the meal.
The decor is original and warm, the service impeccable.
In the menu, you will find a table which summarizes the allergens of each dish, it is very appreciated.
Special mention for the Cheese Naan: the best we have eaten.

20/09/2024: It was a very disappointing experience. I trusted the ratings on Google Maps and Trip Advisor and failed. Appetizers and salads were good. The main courses were terrible. The burger was overcooked: the meat was dry (but not medium rare, as ordered), the brioche was burnt. The shish kebab (brochette de filet) was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside (see photo). The duck was tough, dry, the skin was burnt. Why did you ask for doneness? It seems the chef forgot about the dishes after taking a smoke break. The waiter is a very nice girl who doesn't speak English. This is absolutely no problem. The problem is the manner with which she served us. For the first time in a long time I didn't leave a 10% tip.
20/09/2024: Catastrophic service...deplorable reception, we barely even looked at us.
A lot of waiting between each dish. Very, very bad value for money, we can't even talk about quality... flee! Absolutely.
