31/10/2025: The food is decent, however, the portions are questionable! As for the owner, he's too pushy; the feeling of being rushed quickly becomes oppressive and really spoils the experience at the restaurant. You get the sense that he's under pressure to make a quick profit, while the customer simply wants to take their time, be comfortable, and savor their meal at their leisure. This is my second visit, thinking that the first impression might have been misleading, but unfortunately, no. The service, provided by the owner (both times), hasn't managed to improve. Unfortunately, the quality of the food isn't exceptional enough to overcome this feeling of pressure and the impression that he's under pressure to make a quick profit, finish the meal, and make room for new customers. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but the experience remains disappointing.

20/05/2026: The previous review referred to the old management. I want to clarify that the new management is excellent. The renovated dining rooms are superb. The staff is very professional. The menus are of good quality. It's always a pleasure to dine at this establishment. The change was more than necessary. Thank you to the new owners.

11/03/2026: We ordered an Azteca and a Dolce Vita. On the plus side: the service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. But that's where the positives end. The food was really disappointing. The pizzas were very dry and lacked flavor. They had peppers and pepperoni, but you couldn't taste anything, not even honey... The dough had a chewy, unpleasant texture. There wasn't much topping, and the ground beef was incredibly dry; it felt like eating sand. It's a shame because the staff is nice, but the quality of the pizzas just isn't there.

23/01/2026: Among the very best pizzas. The dough is excellent and light, and the pizza is very generously topped. The staff is very friendly. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

13/06/2026: A Kim platter to share + a pad thai for me and a bo bun for my friend. It was okay, nothing special, hence my rating. But the portions were generous. The atmosphere was awkward: the owner was watching videos on his phone with the volume incredibly loud, you could hear it all the way to the terrace where we were sitting. Our table was right in the service area (I had to lean forward to avoid getting in the way when the waitress brought dishes from other tables).

24/05/2026: Wonderful Thai restaurant with delicious food and a very warm atmosphere! The dishes were full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced spices. From the curry to the pad thai, everything tasted authentic and homemade. The staff were especially friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. Great service, cozy ambiance, and amazing food — I’ll definitely come back again!

02/05/2026: My worst restaurant experience ever. It seems this restaurant doesn't always work with the same chef. We got the wrong one: tasteless amuse-bouches, crayfish that were like papier-mâché, undercooked, floating, and flavorless. Dry, overcooked eel, the same for the poultry, defrosted, uncooked side dishes, tasteless asparagus, industrial-style dauphinoise potatoes, mushroom duxelles, and brown, overly salty garlic butter. All this with incredibly slow service and an exorbitant price for such mediocrity. At this point, they've reached the limits of deception.

29/05/2026: Our experience at La Mare aux Oiseaux was mixed. The welcome was good, and we were seated on the terrace, which, admittedly, has a beautiful setting. However, seven times throughout lunch, we were defecated by bird droppings that had settled directly above our table (including one dropping that fell into a glass of water). While these inconveniences were not the fault of the establishment, no compensation or solution (such as changing tables or removing the birds) was offered, despite our repeated complaints. This spoiled our meal, as we were constantly worried about another dropping. We weren't even offered complimentary coffee to ease our dissatisfaction. We didn't find this to be what one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. As for the food, the dishes were well-prepared, without any mistakes, but also without any surprises. The food and wine pairing surprised us and introduced us to new flavors. The service was very attentive (numerous servers) and welcoming, although it felt a bit like a rehearsed, mechanical routine. The real highlight was the discovery of the food and wine pairing, which delighted and surprised us.
