12/10/2025: Very calm setting and atmosphere, prices a little high compared to the menus.

07/09/2025: We had lunch at L'Orée du Bois a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which is clearly a few years old but well-maintained and in very good condition. The dining room is elegant and quiet. We had a lovely view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The amuse-bouches were pleasant, but the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, presented in a style reminiscent of 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Truly none, which is surprising given that these fruits are at their peak ripeness at this time of year. The service was unfriendly, unavailable, and gave the impression of being forced to work without any enjoyment. We agreed that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

22/03/2026: The pizzas are delicious 🤤 We ordered 40cm ones and I personally have some left over for tomorrow, even though I almost didn't finish it because it was so delicious. My partner, on the other hand, finished his pizza, haha. All in all, we'll gladly do it again.

12/05/2026: What an experience with Le Bistro Gourmand! They were with us throughout our wedding. The staff were very professional, pleasant, and helpful, truly outstanding. Our guests were delighted. Le Bistro was with us every step of the way, answering all our questions. I highly recommend them to everyone if you want to eat like royalty at your wedding. I recommend them 1000%! Thank you for everything.

09/05/2026: We used this caterer for our wedding dinner. The meal was excellent; our guests and we ourselves loved it. We were also able to sample different dishes before the wedding to help us choose our menu. The team is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

15/05/2025: A very warm welcome at this restaurant, very pleasant staff, the meals were all perfect, I highly recommend it. I love the simplicity, from the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, a real treat! ✨✨✨✨

28/04/2026: I ordered a hot chocolate at 10:15, and the owner didn't seem too happy about it. As I was leaving her bistro, I heard her say, "Ugh, they're annoying me with their hot chocolate!" Wow, the holidays were off to a great start, lol 🤣 Sorry, beer or an aperitif is too early for me. She seems bossy, especially with her staff. But she shouldn't forget that it's lucky she has the tourists to make her money. I think she should change careers. So I didn't go back all week. There's a betting shop (PMU) not far from her place, and they were very friendly. I went there every day, and they recognize their customers.

15/05/2026: First time I went to this restaurant, and the last time too. A restaurant calling itself "Bistronomic" that sells picanha beef that's 98% gristle. I'm not usually picky, but there are limits. There was no music; we had to ask for some because it was very annoying. The service was good, but the attire is completely inappropriate for this kind of place. I just hope it was a one-off mistake and that it's not like this every time.

05/05/2026: Excellent, beautiful presentation, and a very reasonable price. The service was so fast that the waitress took away the peanuts when she brought our appetizers and refused to put them back even though we hadn't started our drinks yet 🤔😄. Really a shame...

27/09/2025: Misunderstanding: I called in early September to make a reservation for nine people for a birthday party. They explained to me that we could only eat sweets, which I readily accepted. When I arrived at the reservation time, a sign indicated that the restaurant was closed. I decided to go inside and was told that the restaurant had been closed for several weeks. I can only advise you to have a plan B if you make a reservation at this establishment. Because managing to find a table for a birthday party for such a large group is nothing short of miraculous... This is an unprofessional establishment; I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: A must-see when we come to Pornic. The taste and nothing but the taste of strawberries. We've tried everything from a cone to an ice cream sundae, it's all incredibly good.

15/04/2026: Ah, finally a good roadside restaurant, just the way we like them. A homemade appetizer buffet, delicious homemade dishes, and above all, exceptional service. Excellent value for money.

08/05/2026: We came for a one-night stay as a couple. We tried the massage treatment and the evening meal. Above all, you absolutely must try the menu at this exceptional restaurant. The staff is impeccable. The welcome is delightful.

07/05/2026: A little disappointed by the welcome; check-in was rushed and done standing up, with only the bare minimum. Special mention to the employee who served breakfast, who was very kind. The room itself was okay, but not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The bathroom mirror lights didn't work and just kept flickering. The soap dish was loose and kept falling over.
