05/08/2026: Delicious 😋 and authentic! There's something for everyone. Vegetarian and vegan options at affordable prices. The tofu pad thai is delicious, as is the vegetarian bo bun. The lady's vegetarian spring rolls are the best in Nantes: fragrant with kaffir lime and spicy. The vegetable chop suey is also a great option, mixed with tofu and served with rice 🍚: absolutely fantastic! Thank you to this family (the lady who waits, the gentleman in the kitchen, and the sons who help out).

28/07/2026: The meal was very good. The menu did not list allergens, and peanuts, which were not visible in the dish, were served to someone with an allergy. The manager was very embarrassed but offered no compensation, and it took some arguing to get a 50% discount on the dish in question, which, of course, was not eaten.

15/08/2026: A short weekend in Nantes, a lovely bistro offering simple but very well-executed dishes in generous portions with excellent service, super friendly waiters, and a great atmosphere! I recommend it :)

11/08/2026: This was the worst meal I have had in France. The salad nicoise (if you can call it that) was inedible because it was drenched in sauce and instead of a seared slice of tuna it appeared to have canned tuna!! And it was 15 euros... Going down to the toilets there was a horrible smell and the sink taps were worn snd scratched.. touching them tap button was horrible.. The experience was horrible. The only great thing is the spot. It's a real shame there is no standard to this place beyond that.

14/07/2026: While staying in Nantes, lacking other options, we ended up at this bakery for lunch. The sandwiches, quiches, desserts… everything was delicious and inexpensive. It's so refreshing to find a bakery that goes the extra mile to offer sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. We returned the next day and would have come back even more often if we'd stayed in the city longer.

03/07/2026: Sure, it's good, but I think you can get the same taste in other bakeries for the same price.

05/04/2026: Hi, we went for our 5th anniversary. The setting was lovely, the food excellent, but there was one small drawback: the foie gras arrived during aperitifs, and with the fireplace, it was a little warm, so we didn't enjoy it as much. Perhaps it was because it was a Friday evening and there weren't many people there?... However, we would gladly return.

05/08/2026: We wholeheartedly recommend Le Bistro Gourmand! From the cocktail hour to the meal, everything was unanimously praised by our guests. The dishes were delicious, generously portioned, and made with high-quality ingredients. The vegetarian options were also particularly appreciated, which was a real plus for us and our guests. Beyond the quality of the food, we were won over by the team. Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable: the staff were discreet, smiling, respectful, available, and incredibly kind. Finally, we want to highlight the thoughtful touches they showed us throughout the evening. Without us even having to ask, they discreetly ensured we had everything we needed. As newlyweds, it was truly a comfort to be able to fully enjoy our evening feeling so well taken care of. A huge thank you to the whole team for their professionalism, kindness and the quality of their service!

08/07/2026: We hired Bistro Gourmand for the cocktail reception and meal at our wedding on July 4, 2026. If you're looking for a caterer who knows how to cook with quality ingredients, who adapts to your wishes and follows them to the letter, who manages an event with rigor and professionalism, and all with a smile, look no further! Our guests were delighted with the meal, and so were we. Thank you again!

22/07/2026: A Sunday stop; beneath the attractive presentation, the food is mediocre and very expensive. A duck confit burger with melted cheese! Combined with onions and salad dressed with vinegar, completely ruining the flavors. A real shame, but above all, outrageously expensive for what was on the plate.

10/03/2026: We had lunch as a family in a lovely setting. Everything was perfect. We received a warm welcome. The waitresses were very pleasant. The food was truly delicious from start to finish. I highly recommend it.
