15/09/2025: The restaurant is welcoming to many people who work nearby, a stopover for us on our way. The supermarket parking lot is nearby. Several small spaces make the restaurant more pleasant. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is perfectly organized and service-oriented. We ordered the E+P deal (€14.90) from the daily menu, which was very good.

07/07/2025: I came for lunch for two and it was a pleasant surprise. A welcoming and very clean restaurant, a very pleasant, smiling waitress, and, of course, delicious food. The only "negative" point, and even then, is the lack of vegetarian options, but they do offer a burger and a croque monsieur, which is better than nothing. The dishes are very generous, for an unbeatable price! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal at an affordable price.

31/01/2026: Disappointing. The Grain de Folie cakes were definitely not fresh; the chocolate dome was plaster-like, the nougatine soggy—in short, a disappointment! And don't even get me started on the price...almost €6!! As they say, it's easier to be first than to stay first. And I won't even mention the size of the Paris-Brest...thanks, but I'll be giving it a miss next time. Yes, very disappointed 😞.

12/10/2025: A wonderful surprise in this restaurant on the banks of the Loire, very welcoming. The menu is moderate because of the excellent produce, well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. The homemade foie gras is delicious. The eel matelote and the pikeperch with beurre blanc are a delight! Can't wait to go back!

17/12/2024: There were 4 of us having dinner, we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our dishes to arrive, we had to ask again and again, this is absolutely abnormal. Certainly the quality of the dishes is there but this delay cannot be excused and we left without even ordering the desserts. The aperitifs were offered but we remain on a very bad note. We won't come back

10/04/2025: Good morning, Discovered yesterday. Very very pleasantly surprised by the cuisine. Nice setting with beautiful decor and beautiful terrace, the servers are very smiling and attentive. I recommend!!! Good luck to the whole team, who I will not miss coming to see again 😉

I've learned my lesson well... it's all in the cooking and the mastery of the technique 😂 Go without hesitation, but remember to book ahead 🫣

08/12/2025: This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle. The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect. The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!

02/02/2026: Passing through Angers for an interview, what a great find! The meat is incredible and not greasy at all, the homemade fries and white sauce are delicious too, the staff is super friendly, and the Berliner is simply amazing. The feta cheese is included throughout the entire sandwich. An incredible experience, my partner and I will definitely be back! 👍 And on top of that, the price is more than reasonable considering the generous portion.
