10/06/2026: At L'Etoile du Maroc, it's Madame Houria (her first name) who welcomes you, prepares the dishes, serves you, and engages you in conversation if she senses you're alone and need to talk. Her lilting accent is delightful. I've enjoyed her Moroccan cuisine for years. I love her tagines, but I particularly recommend her pastillas, which you should order in advance. An explosion of flavors! I ate a chicken pastilla meant for several people on my own. It was like a delicious cake. Don't refuse the complimentary tea at the end. It's wonderful. I've even stopped just for one cup, along with homemade pastries. The dining room is spacious, perfect for family meals, gatherings with friends, or more intimate dinners for two. As you can tell, I love this place. Houria is like that Moroccan grandmother you wish you'd known.

17/05/2026: The perfect hotel if you're looking for a friendly, family atmosphere. The location opposite the train station doesn't detract from the hotel's tranquility at all. The room I stayed in was very clean and the bedding was impeccable. The staff is incredibly attentive and you immediately feel at ease. The breakfast is perfect. This is my second stay here, and I'm planning a third. Thank you!

12/05/2026: Way too noisy, Caesar salad made with reconstituted chicken, the breading didn't even stick, no sanitation on the salad, and the frozen waffle was a disaster.

01/08/2026: First meal with the new owners. A high-quality dinner, with fresh and expertly prepared ingredients. A well-curated wine list. A pleasant setting with a lovely view of the vineyards. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

05/07/2026: Avoid this tobacconist at all costs! I've been there twice and both times they've refused to give me a paysafecard. They tell customers who want to cash in their bets that the machine isn't working and they have to wait until Monday, with a blatant lie, while other tobacconists have everything working except for them... I'll never set foot in there again. It's a 20-minute drive each time and it's the same thing because the owner doesn't want to pay from his till. You might as well just remove the FDJ service from your shop.

24/06/2026: Excellent service, the chef is very attentive, and above all, the food is incredibly delicious, made with fresh ingredients in both sandwiches and pizzas. Clearly my favorite kebabs in Angers! I highly recommend them!

26/05/2026: Listed as open but closed for several weeks. Your hours are incorrect; it's always closed. Unprofessional, especially considering the price of gas and the very difficult parking situation. This was the third and final time we'll make the trip.

23/07/2026: The meal was very good, but I was disappointed that there was only a set menu for 29 euros; the price wasn't specified if you didn't want to order all the dishes. The exterior is really poorly maintained and unpleasant. A little cleaning would really improve the restaurant; soon I'll see it overgrown with weeds.

04/07/2026: A very warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, not too noisy, nice decor, and a pleasant meal, apart from a slightly hard pizza crust and frozen fries with the burger. Otherwise, not bad overall. Between 20 and 30 euros including an aperitif and a main course.

09/08/2026: Excellent experience. Our children had given us a gift box. We were treated perfectly, just like any other customer. The food was superb, with a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The menu was limited, featuring only the freshest, most carefully selected ingredients. Excellent wines, including those from the estate. The service was impeccable without being intrusive; the woman who served us was very helpful, kindly answering all our questions and clearly knowledgeable about wine. The wine cellar was excellent, with a very wide selection. When you make a reservation, you're given an arrival time slot, allowing for a more relaxed service with minimal waiting between courses. The small, air-conditioned dining room is nestled among the vineyards. A very pleasant experience in a simple and peaceful atmosphere. Reasonable prices for a Michelin-starred restaurant. A perfect spot for a little gourmet indulgence.

26/07/2026: Mixed experience. Good restaurant, but difficult communication and relationship with the chef. This Google review follows a ZenChef review of the restaurant's reservation system, which I can no longer find. I also exchanged emails with the chef to explain the reason for this rating. In short, it's a shame.

11/07/2026: A charming, authentic spot in a beautiful tuffeau stone house, typical of Anjou and the Loire Valley. Simple cuisine, but with a wide selection of pizzas and savory buckwheat crepes (galettes) at very attractive prices (€10.50 maximum for a galette or €13.50 for a very generously topped pizza 😉). A business that's been going strong for 37 years 💪 Highly recommended!
