11/12/2025: A very warm welcome, a lovely and attentive team, and delicious food in a magnificent setting.

25/11/2025: I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The wait time for lunch service was unacceptable (45 minutes), even though we told them our time was important. The endive salad was served with the core intact… the haddock was very thin and lost on the plate, and the chocolate mousse was very cold. Overall, I was disappointed and delayed. I understand the recruitment challenges, but decisions need to be made to change these practices.

15/12/2024: We enjoyed the daily specials and the foie gras burger. The dishes are well prepared, the ingredients fresh and quality and the portions generous (homemade fries ++++). Gourmet coffee is VERY indulgent.

08/12/2024: Very good time spent last night at this restaurant! Homemade cuisine, very smiling and friendly servers. For a first visit to Saumur, it makes you want to come back! I highly recommend! PS: only small downside, I would have loved a little homemade sauce for the fries instead of sticks, but that's to be choosy! 😊

08/07/2025: Third visit, third time satisfied. Fast service, friendly and efficient staff, and the price/quality ratio is excellent. And the terrace is pleasant; we don't find ourselves crowded together.

02/07/2025: Very poor reception at the entrance to the restaurant and especially the way it was said. Avoid, no respect for customers.

29/05/2025: Amazing food and ambiance. The cook was very welcoming and cooked for us an amazing lamb and a salad with the duck. We stayed in Saumur one day and after such a sunny and warm day the terrace on the first floor was very fresh and cozy.

14/12/2024: Twice McDonald's this week and twice disappointed. I order a Chiken Big Mac and we put a normal Big Mac. And this evening order mac flurry daim caramel and kit kat ball caramel, practically no caramel sauce and topees... and zero sayce for the nuggets and potatoes... disappointed disappointed disappointed

14/12/2024: Disgusting table and chairs while not many people in the restaurant 3 errors on an order with 2 menus.., bacon cheddar fries without bacon.. when I go to the counter as a feeling of disturbing the staff they add 4 pieces of FROZEN bacon to me. I'm going to ask for a fork because in addition to the 3 errors we have neither napkin nor fork, one employee openly said that she didn't want to give it to me. INADMISSIBLE. Staff to seriously review...

10/07/2025: Lots of false rumors, we ate our fill, despite the fries being soggy and cold like everything else, the dish too expensive for a self-service restaurant, the place was clean

07/07/2025: Having been a regular customer until now, I won't be going back. Every night it's a real struggle to find clean cutlery. They're all disgusting with food scraps on them, the same goes for the plates and glasses; it's shameful. The air conditioning is currently broken, so the food served outdoors suffers enormously. Last night, I ordered a rare steak and ended up with an overcooked steak that tasted of nothing. The desserts, all served outdoors in 30-degree heat, are spoiled. The Tropezienne cheesecake is completely dry and hard (does anyone check?). I had a pastry flan that was disgusting and tasted like milk that had gone sour. The result is food poisoning today, and I'm bedridden. No hygiene standards are respected here, neither the legal system nor the dishes, nothing.

26/08/2024: Horrible, je n'ai jamais aussi mal manger de ma vie (63 ans quand même) . Les rillettes de saumon sont en fait des tronçons de boudin de saumon mélangés à des aromates et olives pour évincer tout goût et le poulet frites, de la farine de poulet. J'en ai mangé 2 morceaux pour être sûre que j'étais bien lucide. Une horreur! et tout ça pour un prix tout à fait normal pour un dîner dans une pseudo guinguette. J'avoue que nous n'avons pas tenté le dessert. 63€ pour 2 entrées et 2 plats innommables et un 50 cl de rosé, c'est très cher payé. A fuir en 2 mots.

29/08/2024: I came to have 12 pain au chocolat and 12 croissants this very morning. They were also very good. However, the Chicken Provençale sandwich that I had for lunch was a little less so, a bread topped only with tomatoes and salad, for a chicken sandwich, it's still a shame... I would still like to highlight the quality of service of the lady who served me!

30/07/2024: Hello to you, I went there yesterday for dinner at lunchtime. The staff was very friendly, no worries. The small problem is that I ate there at lunchtime and the tables were not washed full of crumbs and the floor was not swept. So not clean for a handle like an angel. and half clean toilet with broken lock
