17/05/2026: Slow, especially on a Sunday at 2:30 PM, and especially unfriendly: no hello, no goodbye, we just stood there waiting for instructions to go to the next window. We hadn't even had a goodbye, and after repeatedly asking the employees passing by the open window if everything was OK, we were finally told yes, but still no goodbye... The service was simply appalling... P.S.: Undercooked potatoes and forgotten creamy sauces... the worst!

15/05/2026: Thank you for the takeaway cup after we had lunch there. Since the drink couldn't be consumed on the premises, we asked if we could take it with us. The staff were polite and friendly.

15/04/2026: We placed an online order for children's meals that included Kinder Eggs (perfect for Easter). Unfortunately, instead, we received some useless toys. It's misleading and frankly unacceptable. When I contacted the restaurant, I received disrespectful responses, telling me that my daughters, aged 13 and 16, were too old to order children's meals (which isn't mentioned on the website). Is there a law that prohibits ordering children's meals after a certain age? I was even told that adults don't eat Kinder Eggs anymore… In short, it's shameful. If you don't have the advertised products, simply don't offer them, or at the very least replace them with something equivalent, like a Nutella pizza. The children were disappointed, and so were we. Unreliable service, misleading advertising. Thanks for ruining our Easter meal! First and last order! Response: I formally dispute your comment, which is based on inaccurate and unverified claims. I also question the methods you claim to use to monitor your customers' visits, a practice which, if proven, would raise serious concerns about privacy. I confirm that I have not returned to your establishment since my last meal. I therefore urge you to verify your information and correct your comment to avoid the dissemination of erroneous and potentially damaging allegations.

08/07/2025: Chef in Luxembourg, passing through, a restaurant recommended by Charal employees. And there...surprise, it was very, very good, with smiling, professional waitresses and a chef who knows his stuff. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

05/05/2026: A pleasant overnight stay at the Auberge de la Rose. The owners are a welcoming couple who offered helpful advice. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet before heading out for a walk! I highly recommend it!

04/05/2026: Reservation for a group of 28 motorcyclists for a meal on the evening of May 2nd. The contact for the reservation was pleasant. The meal was very good, with unbeatable value for money. The service was friendly, even accommodating a last-minute change for a member's dish, even though the menu had been set a week prior.

10/07/2026: How to rate the food 😂 It's the same everywhere. At least my Big Mac was barely warm. Our table wasn't clean. The restrooms were a bit mediocre. One door wouldn't close, and the other had a broken flush. The McDonald's drive-through entrance isn't easy to find. And there are no signs.

05/07/2026: Finding the entrance was a nightmare. We and several other cars made the same mistake. A road seems to lead to McDonald's, but you end up on the pedestrian sidewalk. You actually have to continue along the road and turn into an area where McDonald's isn't signposted to finally find it.

25/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in Cholet, fresh, well-cooked products, homemade ice cream, in short, go there and remember to book, be aware that it's closed on weekends.

02/02/2026: This is the place you are actually looking for. Real French food, all home made, including the dessert. The cheese is all from a local farm. The wine selection is moderately priced but very typical and indicative of the region. The menu is small and perfect, with traditional dishes and just the right amount of creativity. Amazing view of the river, and very thoughtful and proper service. The decor is a bit sad, but who cares. Go here, it's amazing.

30/01/2026: The setting was nice, the service decent, but there was no heating, so it was a bit chilly (even though these days people are trying to save money, there's a happy medium)! Luckily, we had a drink to warm up. As for the meal, we were disappointed, mainly by the fish dish on a bed of boiled leeks, which was tasteless, and the very basic dessert, a sort of tartine. We had been here several times and had never been disappointed. What's going on to cause such changes?

07/12/2025: A small, simple, and pleasant country restaurant. A warm and unpretentious welcome. Delicious beurre blanc sauce, very reasonable prices, and open for Sunday lunch.

15/04/2026: The service was perfect. The fish wasn't cooked to my liking, but everything else was very good.

15/04/2026: Short lunch stop on the route along the Loire. Service was attentive and friendly even though it was quite full. Food came fast and was all fresh, creative and both traditional and engaging. Don't miss to take im the view from the platform just behind the restaurant.

12/06/2026: Honestly, I came with my girlfriend, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It perfectly retained the niche charm of a French brasserie while adding a touch of modernity, all while preserving the originality of the brand. I also want to mention the waiter, Mahdi, whom I thank sincerely! He brings a touch of brightness and festivity to your meal! 😀😀✨✨

11/06/2026: Never disappointed by this place!! Living in the 9th arrondissement, this is the best bar in the neighborhood I've been to with my friends, whether for a coffee or to enjoy cocktails. I sincerely thank Mahdi for his kindness and professionalism :) Always in a good mood with customers, he's a valuable member of the team. I 100% recommend this bar for lunch or dinner^^

12/12/2025: A truly wonderful discovery. A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Loire (it must be fantastic in the summer). We opted for the set menu of starter/main course/dessert (we have a sweet tooth!). We were treated to a delicious amuse-bouche, a gougère with black garlic. For the starter: delicious accras and a lovely terrine with pickles. For the main course: a divine, melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek with tender winter vegetables. For dessert: a sort of French toast with poached pears, a small madeleine biscuit with vanilla cream, and pear ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were just stopping over, but we will definitely be back… Thank you for this delightful experience and thank you to the pleasant waitress and the staff.

06/12/2025: A magnificent establishment. A small menu, but more than enough, given the quality of the ingredients and the truly delicious and high-quality dishes. The presentation is tasteful and meticulous. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the view of the Louet River, but we were treated to a culinary journey. Congratulations to the chef.
