05/09/2025: Excellent restaurant. Always busy, which proves how good it is. Like any restaurant, it inevitably gets busy at certain times, and even with their management skills, the number of customers is never the same, so keeping stock up isn't easy. But they always find a solution and offer other dishes besides the daily specials—truly excellent. I can't understand any negative comments about this restaurant.

22/07/2025: No comment on the food, which we were never served. We waited over an hour with two children, only to be told there was nothing left. Of course, all the regulars were served before us, even though we arrived half an hour later. It's hard to imagine a more unpleasant waitress, who clearly "doesn't grow food in the fridges." We understand, it's complicated (but you do run a restaurant). And in that case, at least warn people before making them wait on an empty stomach until 2 pm. Just passing through? Keep walking.

Hendrik’s love for local cuisine, self sourced ingredients and home-cooked food is contagious. Short, regularly changing menu at a very reasonable price! And… what a great view over the Loire river. We wish you all the luck in the world for your new adventure.

14/11/2025: Great, very quiet place... This place deserves to be known and to develop to its fullest potential. The staff are truly lovely. If you're going to Cheffes (49), I highly recommend stopping by this bar/restaurant, Le P'tit Cheffes... My daughter enjoyed a truly delicious chocolate mousse with an Orangina. I had an Americano. The small terrace is really very pretty and inviting... The interior is a bit rustic and could use a little updating and a warmer decor, but honestly, when the food is of such high quality, and the staff are so pleasant, courteous, and incredibly kind, the decor hardly matters... So if you're passing through, don't hesitate to stop by; I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed by the quality of their food.

16/08/2025: A very welcoming place where the regulars and owners create a wonderful atmosphere in the village. What a pleasure to meet such excellent merchants, who are sorely lacking in our country these days. I highly recommend it and sincerely thank the managers for the wonderful time we had.

08/03/2026: Great roadside restaurant, the price is really low, I think it would be hard to find better for the price, and the food is very good. I recommend it and I will definitely be going back. Thanks to the management and a big thank you to the staff who are very attentive to customers.

19/03/2026: Wasteful and disgraceful Just came across their social media page. And saw a video of them trying to be "funny" where a worker drops a pizza and a guy trys to catch it with a ceramic plate Just to end in a shattered plate and glass covered pizza all on the floor. If you're going to be wasting food give free food to the needy or your regulars and offer discounted pizza for ever since food is so cheap you can throw it away right !

17/03/2026: One-night stay with a friend, booked a week in advance. We arrived around 4 pm to drop off our luggage. The hotel normally has a relaxation area with a sauna and hammam for an extra charge, which was one of the main reasons I chose this establishment. Once there, we wanted to use this area, but unfortunately, we learned it was undergoing maintenance: the spa was empty, and access to the sauna and hammam was impossible. It's a bit of a shame not to inform guests beforehand. Camille, the receptionist, was lovely and explained that she had only been informed that very morning. We certainly didn't know. The next morning, we had breakfast around 9 am. The view from the terrace is very pleasant, but an employee was cleaning it with a pressure washer, with all the noise that entails, even though breakfast service ended at 10 am. This could have been done later. However, on Friday evening we enjoyed the meal served on-site: everything was delicious, the service impeccable, with entertainment and two superb singers. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Despite these minor hiccups, we had a pleasant stay.

20/02/2026: I booked, and my wife and I came for the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the lights weren't working; they were out of order. If they had told us on the phone, I wouldn't have booked. There was no compensation offered. Very disappointing.

07/12/2025: A small, simple, and pleasant country restaurant. A warm and unpretentious welcome. Delicious beurre blanc sauce, very reasonable prices, and open for Sunday lunch.

13/03/2026: The spring rolls were good, but the shrimp satay was so-so, mealy...!! The service was appalling, no smile from the waitress and curt answers to questions about the dishes....the cook seemed much nicer

The decor is quirky and unusual, which makes for fun conversations with other customers. Thanks, I'll be back more often.
