05/01/2026: Lunch with the family before visiting the abbey! A charming, vintage setting and atmosphere! Warm, home-style cooking. We had a lovely time enjoying the music!

09/03/2026: Very bad experience, I ordered through Uber and had to wait 2 hours, in the end it turned out the establishment was closed but I was still charged for the Uber orders.

02/02/2026: Best snack bar in all of Cholet! I come here very often. The staff are very welcoming and all very kind. The tacos are really very good, and the kebabs too. I've never been disappointed there. I highly recommend it!! It's clean and good.

11/02/2026: Excellent experience! The order arrived quickly, the pizza was piping hot and perfectly prepared. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy crust. Top-notch service, I highly recommend it!

09/02/2026: Run away!!! The seller is unfriendly, no hello. I ask him for the "Tasty Salmon" (see photo below). He replies with an angry look, "What's that??? Salmon pasta???" I ask the price, he tells me €9.95 (for a small tray) and he tells me there's no menu with a drink; I think it's €1.50 or €2 for a drink. Same goes for their pizzas; they're tiny, industrial-style and not good at all. In short, don't go there.

Less atmosphere, less management, impossible to leave the nightclub for 20 minutes under the pretext that people are leaving at 4:30 am (an hour or after 3 hours of dancing, you just want to go home to sleep). Do something, Mr. Boulard.

25/11/2025: I love Subway, but please update your hours. I arrived on a Saturday at 7 PM, and online it said Subway closes at 10 PM. As a result, I arrived, and it was closed. This happens very often, so please update your hours.

15/02/2026: We came for the first time on Saturday, February 14th at lunchtime. The welcome was very good. The service was very quick, the food was delicious, and we received a small gift of a rose as we left 🌹

20/01/2026: The meal seemed alright at first, but the moldy dessert quickly disappointed us. Avoid it.

09/02/2026: Always excellent...the best Flunch I know...and the staff is always friendly. What a shame this restaurant is closing permanently to make way for a fast food place...a void in Cholet! 16/11/2025: We've been coming every year for the past four years, with friends, and we're always very happy. The different rooms we stay in are always very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and the lunch is always very good. We love the atmosphere of the dining room, the wood-burning stove which gives it a cozy feel, and the overall ambiance of the hotel (decor, music on the radio, etc.)! It's really cozy! The managers and staff are always friendly and efficient.

15/11/2025: We went to eat at this restaurant for lunch today. Very disappointed 😞 😞 😞. The decor is very, very old-fashioned. The menu is very complicated, with far too many choices. The food was okay, but nothing special, especially the "gourmet coffee." The dishes were damaged. The carafe was damaged, or rather, the plastic pitcher was worn out. There were four of us in this large restaurant, which has clearly been left in the past. I absolutely do not recommend it. Avoid it. The waitress wasn't particularly pleasant. She brought us appetizers, and 30 seconds later, the starter arrived. Since there were only four of us, she only had us to take care of. I will never go back.

07/12/2025: The tables facing each other make it feel more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. The aisles are too narrow for easy passage. The food is cold. The vegetables are undercooked. There isn't much choice of appetizers or desserts.

06/12/2025: Very poor welcome, cold food, limited menu choices. We had a reservation and they made no effort to seat us. Very disappointed and we won't be returning.

31/12/2025: The managers are completely disrespectful, and I see from the reviews that it's the same even for those who actually ate there... Instead of simply apologizing for not updating the opening hours (10 pm) for December 30th by allowing reservations for 9 pm, they treat people like dirt, brushing them off in an incredibly rude manner. When you've just driven 600 km to see your mother and little sister, and you arrive at 8:30 pm, counting on this "restaurant"—which was the only traditional French restaurant in the city center "open until 10 pm"—for a family meal, the least you can expect is to be greeted with a smile and a "Sorry, we closed the kitchen at 9 pm tonight..." rather than a "Uh... I'll check with my husband" and a "Yes??" "Without even a single 'hello' from the gentleman, and to top it off, a raised eyebrow that clearly said, 'Why are you bothering me at 9 pm?' I mean, I don't know, what do you think people come to a restaurant for at 9 pm? A game of bowling? Luckily for our evening, we found it much more pleasant, certainly better, and of a higher standard than the property of these pathetic people."

30/12/2025: We arrived at 1 p.m., not even a hello, just a rude "We're full!" Please continue to ban this restaurant so they at least learn some manners and courtesy.

27/12/2025: I had a really excellent meal. It was truly delicious. The setting was pleasant and unpretentious. The owner, despite his somewhat gruff manner, is very friendly. I don't know many restaurants in Saumur that offer a complimentary glass of champagne at the end of the meal after you've paid the bill. I don't understand the overwhelmingly negative reviews. To dare to say it's not good, that it's frozen food, etc., etc... simply untrue. We arrived as a party of five and were warmly welcomed, as were all the other customers who arrived later. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed every course, and our plates were returned empty to the kitchen.

02/02/2026: Quite disappointed, we returned after a few years, and we didn't enjoy it. The food was disappointing (the pizza was like shoe leather, and we had serious doubts about the seafood (prawns and scallops) which had a strange taste). The service was rather slow. On the other hand, the staff were very pleasant and friendly!
