25/11/2025: I love Subway, but please update your hours. I arrived on a Saturday at 7 PM, and online it said Subway closes at 10 PM. As a result, I arrived, and it was closed. This happens very often, so please update your hours.

17/04/2026: The rooms were really not great, poor value for money, €200 for 2 nights including breakfast, for very poor quality bedding, a truly awful bathroom, a room resembling a B-movie American motel... Slippery shower, archaic toilet, and shower jets that scalded hot x) The staff, however, were extremely friendly and very professional, thank you very much ladies 🫶 Good breakfast!

13/04/2026: We stayed at the Campanile Cholet with Luna, our son Gabriel, and myself, and honestly, we have very fond memories of it. It's the kind of 3-star hotel where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive: everything is professional, clean, well-maintained, and you can see there's a genuine desire to welcome guests in the best possible conditions. The first major plus was the parking. There were plenty of spaces, which is far from a minor detail when traveling as a family. We didn't have to drive around for hours looking for a parking spot, and after a long drive, that's a real comfort. You arrive, you park, and you're already off to a great start. As for the room, we found it very clean overall, well-maintained, and above all, quite spacious for the three of us. With Luna and Gabriel, we didn't feel cramped at all, which was definitely a plus. The space was comfortable, practical, and perfectly suited to a family stay. This is exactly what you expect from a hotel: to be able to relax peacefully without feeling cramped. The staff also deserves praise, because everyone was very pleasant, welcoming, and professional. The welcome was excellent, the interaction simple, human, and natural. No complaints whatsoever, quite the opposite. You feel greeted with a smile and with seriousness, and this greatly contributes to the overall experience. A hotel can be beautiful, but without a warm welcome, it's missing something. This wasn't the case here. Breakfast was also a very pleasant surprise. It was beautifully presented, plentiful, with plenty of choice and high-quality products. It wasn't just a rushed buffet, but a truly enjoyable breakfast that made you want to linger. There was something to please everyone, which is a real plus for starting the day off right. As always with hotels, I do have my usual minor complaint about the breakfast hours. I sincerely wish they would extend the service a little further, ideally until 11:00 AM, for those who want to relax a bit longer, especially if they went to bed late the night before. This isn't a criticism unique to this establishment, as I often notice this elsewhere, but it would be a real plus. To be perfectly honest, the only slight drawback in the room was the mold on the shower curtain. Nothing catastrophic, and it didn't spoil our stay, but it's the kind of detail that deserves to be addressed to make the experience perfect. It's precisely because everything else was so good that this small point stands out more. Apart from that, there's nothing to complain about. The hotel is pleasant, well-maintained, convenient, clean, with friendly staff, easy parking, and a good breakfast. For a family stay, we found the place perfectly suitable and comfortable. In summary, we had a very pleasant stay at the Campanile Cholet. It's a reliable, welcoming, and well-maintained hotel, with real strengths in terms of overall cleanliness, the welcome, comfort, and breakfast. With a minor adjustment to the shower curtain and, dare we dream, breakfast served until 11:00 AM, it would be almost perfect. We would definitely return and would gladly recommend it.

31/12/2025: The managers are completely disrespectful, and I see from the reviews that it's the same even for those who actually ate there... Instead of simply apologizing for not updating the opening hours (10 pm) for December 30th by allowing reservations for 9 pm, they treat people like dirt, brushing them off in an incredibly rude manner. When you've just driven 600 km to see your mother and little sister, and you arrive at 8:30 pm, counting on this "restaurant"—which was the only traditional French restaurant in the city center "open until 10 pm"—for a family meal, the least you can expect is to be greeted with a smile and a "Sorry, we closed the kitchen at 9 pm tonight..." rather than a "Uh... I'll check with my husband" and a "Yes??" "Without even a single 'hello' from the gentleman, and to top it off, a raised eyebrow that clearly said, 'Why are you bothering me at 9 pm?' I mean, I don't know, what do you think people come to a restaurant for at 9 pm? A game of bowling? Luckily for our evening, we found it much more pleasant, certainly better, and of a higher standard than the property of these pathetic people."

30/12/2025: We arrived at 1 p.m., not even a hello, just a rude "We're full!" Please continue to ban this restaurant so they at least learn some manners and courtesy.
