11/07/2026: It was a definite choice when coming to Carnac; I booked the restaurant even before the activities. The setting is very pleasant, the waiters are classy, ​​welcoming, smiling, and always have a kind word. As for the main point, the meal, frankly, this rating is well-deserved. It's absolutely delicious, the hamburger is amazing, the meat is excellent, and the crêpes and galettes are to die for. You can't miss "L'Auguste" when you come to Carnac, otherwise you shouldn't come at all! Remember to book in advance.

The respect shown to the customer is evident even in the spacing between the tables. The place is like a time capsule, transporting you to a timeless and majestic Japan. It's definitely the best restaurant in western France (and perhaps beyond?), and I go there and will return at the slightest opportunity. Frankly, I'm thrilled to be a local just for this restaurant.

25/07/2026: Excellent! The best burger I've ever had: the bun was like a savory kouign-amann and the pulled chuck was amazing. My partner had a flank steak cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly too, and they even offered a small digestif to top it all off. In short, a great place. Go without hesitation and with your taste buds wide open!

We were able to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends, all dressed up in "Château Life" costumes. 04/08/2026: We LOVED it!!! The setting is magnificent and the atmosphere breathtaking! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. There's a large patio out back for those who prefer some fresh air, but the decor inside is truly beautiful… there was a group of relaxed people playing music when we arrived. They were still there, and even more of them when we left. The beer is very good. I think the menu changes daily, with different caterers, I imagine. Tonight we had Réunion Island cuisine, so not exactly in keeping with the theme, but very good. A must-visit if you have the chance!
