18/12/2025: They act like they own the place in a village that, yes, is beautiful, but they seem very unwilling to serve you because I think 1:25 pm is still lunchtime in France. You could go to another place, a bistro also at the top of the village, where both the service and the food are excellent.

15/02/2026: A treat that everyone loved! A mini break family trip got us to this lovely restaurant. We went on Valentine’s Day, knowing there was a menu, but thinking we could order separately for our vegetarian daughter. When we arrived they very kindly pointed out it was only the menu this evening (hubby hadn’t read the email!), yet they made no fuss and kindly did a separate, delicious, vegetarian menu for our daughter. We loved this place. The food. The wine pairing. The great service. When pushed for a favourite course, my husband said the birds nest starter. I really enjoyed everything, but the scallops were divine. Our son loved the perfectly cooked beef and our daughter loved her menu but raved especially about the pastry with mango and chocolate dessert. And it was extremely reasonably priced (4 course menu was €69, wine pairing was €18 if required). Thank you to the team for their accommodation. We highly recommend.

12/02/2026: We had an excellent stay at this bed and breakfast near Perpignan! The setting is peaceful and charming, the room comfortable and perfectly maintained. The welcome was warm and attentive. The restaurant, awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin, is a real bonus: refined cuisine, local produce, and excellent value for money. The homemade breakfast was delicious. A must-visit for a stay in the Pyrénées-Orientales, nestled between the sea, vineyards, and the Catalan hinterland. We highly recommend it!

07/02/2026: The dishes were all equally delicious and very generous. A pleasant surprise was the pho, which was excellent. The chicken spring rolls were delicious. The beef loc lac was incredible, and the bo bun was as good as my Grandma's. We also loved the dessert. The chocolate and banana spring rolls were also very good. The decor is simple, and the service is attentive. The prices are very affordable at 20 per person with drinks—unbeatable! We had a great evening and highly recommend it. We'll be back to try the fish.

22/02/2026: To get straight to the point, we enjoyed our meal and felt comfortable. We were treated politely and courteously, and we had a lovely evening. Highly recommended! However, for a truly perfect restaurant experience, we missed those certain little touches that distinguish intended professionalism from genuine first-class service. It starts with the lack of coat hooks; then there's the issue of guests' coats dragging on the floor while draped over the backs of chairs during meals. Why do guests have to refill their own wine? There are plenty of waiters; it's a gesture that should be expected in good restaurants. We ordered completely different set menus, but all of them had the exact same side dishes. That's uninspired and a real shame. It tastes good, but it gets boring, and you don't want to come back to try something different. And now for dessert: Crêpe Suzette is flambéed at the counter and then served without the flame. It's a pity you can only watch from a distance. And then there's the missing element of that typical caramelized sugar flavor, because the waiter unfortunately burns the Gran Marnier completely in the pan and then just pours the burnt alcohol over the crêpe. This means you miss out on the lovely aromas that come from the flames on the crêpe. A real shame. It's also a bit annoying that there's no slice of orange in the dessert. All minor things, but they would have made a restaurant evening perfect.

22/02/2026: We just celebrated my husband's birthday and had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting with generous and delicious dishes and a fantastic birthday cake. The service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it. Thank you!

19/09/2025: We stayed at Le Huaca in Saint-Cyprien and were absolutely delighted 🤩. The warm welcome was felt throughout our visit, and we immediately felt welcome. We ordered the tapas platter for two, followed by a delicious coconut dessert and an espresso. Everything was fresh, tasty, and prepared with great care. A particularly remarkable detail was the attention paid to our little dog. A bowl of water was immediately brought out, something we've rarely experienced during our many stays in France. This shows how well-respected guests, as well as their companions 🐶, are here. A truly excellent experience; we gladly give it 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and we will definitely return! 👍🏻😁 Please note that Le Huaca in Saint-Cyprien and its restaurants are ready! 🤩 Der herzliche Empfang hat sich durch den ganzen Besuch gezogen und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. If you like the Tapas-Platte for two people, then there are delicious Coconut-Desserts and an Espresso. Alles war absolutely frisch, super lecker and mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besons hervorheben möchten wir die Aufmerksamkeit des Teams. For a little food, you should have a good water supply, and in detail, it's in French but it's a good restaurant in the old restaurant. 26/02/2026: Absolutley delight to be able to spend lunch here. A small boutique restaurant tucked away in the village of Argeles sur mer. The service very impeccable, attentive not over bearing. The review of plat du jour welcomed..paired with the most delicious Chardonnay..voted number 1 in the world and this did not disappoint. I went with poisson du jour et pommes de terre..was heaven. Flavour busting and presentation a la carte standard. We were lucky to get a table during the week. Maybe because it is winter. Highly recommend booking.
