09/08/2026: To sum up the situation, the manager (who, by the way, seems rather unpleasant) got into an argument with a customer who had been waiting for a long time. As a result, he refused to give her her order (which she had already paid for). In retaliation, she relieved herself right in the middle of McDonald's. I feel sorry for the student who had to clean up afterward (in front of everyone) because it was clearly not the manager who was going to do it.

29/07/2026: It was past 10 PM. A quick dinner before heading home for good. It was my first time eating there. The fries weren't hot anymore, and neither was the hamburger when I got to the first floor to sit down. The armchairs where I sat were worn out. Before leaving, I went to the restroom, and what I saw was disgusting. I was appalled: toilet paper on the floor, wet floor, filthy. The toilet bowl didn't smell clean at all. Meanwhile, the entrance vestibule was fine. If I were to go back, it would definitely be for takeout.

25/07/2026: Honestly, considering the price of McDonald's in 2026, it would be nice to have clean toilets; they were seriously disgusting.

16/07/2026: I was just passing through Lyon and they made me pay on two different payment terminals, telling me I'd be refunded within 24 hours, but nothing happened. So I ended up paying double the price I wanted. Beware! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

19/07/2026: What a horror!! The staff is incredibly unpleasant and the quality is beyond mediocre. I'm not usually picky, but this is ridiculous... Avoid at all costs!

09/02/2026: I was here in 2022 during my visit to Lyon. After leaving the cathedral, I walked through this area and arrived at this square, called Pl. du Gouvernementvi. I went to this restaurant-café and had a drink. It's a very pleasant place, in this small square surrounded by beautiful buildings. The coffee is very good, it's quiet when you're there, and the service is excellent. I really enjoyed sitting there and taking in the view.

06/10/2025: I caught dysentery after eating at this snack bar. I do not recommend it.

21/08/2026: Disappointed by my last lunch at Paul. I discovered a new menu with significantly higher prices on the set menus and a much more limited selection, especially for desserts. Too expensive for what it actually is. Another source of dissatisfaction: the dessert I ordered from the set menu was no longer available. The waiter then informed me that I could choose a dessert from the takeaway menu, neglecting to mention that this would incur an extra charge, which I only discovered when the bill arrived... In the end, I felt like I was being taken for a fool. Goodbye Paul...

21/08/2026: If it were up to me, one star would have been appropriate for this restaurant's rating, but I prefer my two stars for the participation. The elderly grey-haired lady was in no way friendly with the customers. It seemed as if she didn't want to be there. I expected better service….

26/07/2026: I went to the Paul bakery in Confluence and the experience was disappointing. There were only two employees: a Black man at the register and a young woman serving customers. The wait was very long. When we asked the cashier if he could just ring us up for two bottles of water, he told us there was only one person serving. Yet, he seemed to have the time, and it would have helped speed up the queue. I understand that some days are difficult, but a little more cooperation between the employees would have made the service much more pleasant.

17/07/2026: I've never seen such unfriendly, unsmiling waiters as those at Paul Confluence, especially the little blonde one. She's always scowling; it's like she's there to do you a favor, not to serve the customers. What a disgrace!

30/07/2026: The sandwich was disgusting and dry, the dessert was awful, but the canned Coke was very good, though not cold straight from the fridge. Don't waste your money there.

During our various visits, whether for a meal or to sample the variety of your breads, pastries, etc., we have consistently noted Dounia's professionalism: her dynamism, her excellent listening skills, her approachability, and her ability to serve a very cosmopolitan and sometimes demanding clientele. We also appreciate her natural flair for aesthetics. In addition to all these positive attributes, we appoint her as a manager. A 5-star rating is far too low to represent her within your various PAULS brands, both nationally and internationally. Thank you, Dounia.

27/01/2026: Never order from Uber Eats, it's false advertising. The photos don't match the food received at all. The taste wasn't very good, and I doubt the freshness of the ingredients.

20/01/2026: I used to love it. I hadn't ordered for a year or two. I ordered again, but what a disaster! Delivering an order without any sauce would never have happened, and the quality has really gone downhill. It's a shame.

22/07/2026: Meh, I went there for the first time and it wasn't a success. A hot "thing" made with pizza dough, it doesn't hold together, it's dripping, and it's very sparsely filled. Very, very disappointed

23/04/2026: Luckily, the restaurant across the street was there to save my freezing lunch, and it's clear the vendors are being exploited.

12/08/2026: Very expensive for two tasteless ice creams. We sat down and the staff went outside to smoke loudly next door, completely unconcerned that it bothered us. The water glasses they served contained dirt. We won't be back.
