25/08/2026: After three years without returning to this place, I'll say the same thing I did the first time we came: it's a very good experience. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food is very good. The price is reasonable. I recommend it.

18/08/2026: The food was quite good, however, the price was a bit too high for the quality. The service and order taking were rather slow, which is a shame. The terrace offers a very pleasant, unobstructed view.

22/08/2026: I discovered this bar with Claude one night when I was lost. He was incredibly attentive, serving me more than I needed; the rest is a blur. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated over time. Which makes sense, since I was still lost and ultimately didn't belong there. Harsh words led me down a completely different path, that of the ICU, where the daily struggle for survival is incredibly difficult. I should never have set foot in that place. Verdict: if you're a woman alone and sadness is eating you up inside, steer clear.

29/03/2026: Claude is a wonderful host; he takes excellent care of his guests. A simple and warm atmosphere. Everyone should have a Claude in their life.

You order a hamburger, it's missing some things so you give it back! They give you another one, but this time it's missing things that weren't missing from the first one 🫣 Dirty table...

The place wasn't welcoming, the tables were messy and dirty, and there were cobwebs everywhere, and they'd been there for a while. I'm already not a fan of Marie Blachère bakeries because the places aren't welcoming when you're taking a lunch break after a long journey, but this one has completely changed my mind. 😞

28/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at a reasonable price. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. The kitchen is open to view; it's family-run, and I'd gladly return.

23/05/2026: A complete work of art. At lunchtime, a diverse crowd gathers, from American tourists to French tradesmen. The chef works tirelessly in full view of everyone – the kitchen is visible – processing the orders. So it can take a while. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable, as the atmosphere was excellent. The food is solid. The service was efficient but friendly and efficient.

28/08/2026: We went to this restaurant twice this summer. Our taste buds were delighted. The dishes are refined and sophisticated, and the price is more than reasonable. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. We also appreciated the chef's visits to each table.

28/08/2026: Excellent and very professional welcome! The menu offers a wide variety of choices, though limited, which is a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the homemade aspect. The dishes were delicious, the wine we chose was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Dishes can be adapted for allergens since everything is homemade. Great atmosphere! We had a wonderful time.

15/05/2026: The hotel offers comfortable accommodations and excellent food. The only downside is the room on the second floor with no elevator (understandable, as it's an old but renovated building), making it difficult to carry luggage up. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

16/09/2026: A very successful lunch at the Bistrot. An exceptional pâté en croûte, very much in the "pastry chef" style! Perfectly executed eggs mayonnaise and a remarkable aged rib of beef. All enjoyed under a magnificent plane tree with well-chosen wines. However, I do have two comments: a vinaigrette that was a bit too sweet and questionable, and a mixture of overcooked potatoes and vegetables that was uninteresting.

It felt like being cooked for by good friends. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We were disappointed that it was closed on our second day. We will definitely plan another visit.
