Run by a young, dynamic, and friendly couple, this bar and restaurant is the heart of the village, a gathering place and hub of community life. We went for lunch at Le Chardon after a wine tasting in the area. Simple but delicious cuisine made with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. ☀️

30/07/2026: I'm impressed by the responsiveness of this roadside assistance team that serves the Chénas area. Alex arrived at my house within 20 minutes on Saturday evening, at a time when I was worried I'd have to spend the night with a flat tire. She was attentive, patient, and quick, which saved me a lot of trouble. The quoted price was honored, which isn't always the case. I'm keeping her number safe.

Behind the bar, a beautiful shaded garden, charming wicker chairs, and lounge sofas where you can linger over a drink while ordering your tapas. The restaurant business is getting tougher and tougher, and when you're lucky enough to have a wonderful time in such an establishment, you give it 5 stars! That's just my humble opinion. For my first visit, I was won over by the warm welcome, the variety of options, the elegant presentation of the dishes, and of course, the exquisite flavor of everything the charming owner generously placed on our plates...and in our glasses (in moderation, of course). Bravo and thank you to her and also to the chef! As a bonus, the bill was quite reasonable...
