02/03/2026: L'Auberge de Baudemont is a delightful restaurant. The cuisine is original and flavorful. Crispy frog legs, foie gras burger, sweetbreads with snails 😋, Grand Marnier soufflé... A Côte Roannaise wine paired with the meal. During the week, you can enjoy the €20 set menu and take advantage of the lovely terrace when the weather is nice.

27/05/2026: The outdoor setting is magnificent, but the restaurant could make an effort with the terrace furniture to make it truly splendid.

25/05/2026: A homemade terrine, the frogs' legs were very good, the staff attentive, all right on the banks of the Saône. A simple lunch in the shade of the terrace. Excellent value for money 👍

23/05/2026: A complete work of art. At lunchtime, a diverse crowd gathers, from American tourists to French tradesmen. The chef works tirelessly in full view of everyone – the kitchen is visible – processing the orders. So it can take a while. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable, as the atmosphere was excellent. The food is solid. The service was efficient but friendly and efficient.

05/04/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we dined at the Potin Gourmand restaurant, and it was delicious! From the appetizers to the desserts, we savored flavorful French cuisine. The place is peaceful and charming. We absolutely loved it!

The property is declared pet-friendly, and our dog was able to dine and have breakfast with us. Free private parking. Dog fee paid separately. Booked through Booking.com

08/05/2026: It used to be a fantastic place, always packed with amazing pizzas... unfortunately, it's gone downhill in the last few years... far fewer customers, pizzas undercooked and therefore rubbery... it's such a shame... and the service is really unfriendly... being from the area, we tried it several times, but this is definitely the last time... I don't like to criticize, but being in the business myself... it breaks my heart to see this establishment going downhill... I'm sorry for you, but your waitress does nothing to make us feel welcome and doesn't make us want to come back.

The steak tartare is simply fabulous and fantastic, a delight for the taste buds, with tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth the trip!
