28/03/2026: This isn't the Riberboat I remember, where you could get good grilled beef. I was very disappointed with the vacuum-packed, industrially produced deli meats. We won't be back. I don't recommend this restaurant.

31/01/2026: Passing through Chalon for the day with my daughter, we stumbled upon this place and were immediately welcomed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was efficient. While the menu was small, that's what made everything so perfect. So many flavors, and the quality and quantity were just right. A place to try and return to. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

09/03/2026: We come to La Dolce Vita every year during our sports holiday in Mâcon. It's a sure thing and we're never disappointed. There's a good selection and the prices are reasonable. See you next year!

04/03/2026: A family atmosphere, a boss who has always put her heart into it, more than 35 years at her age of 72—that takes some doing! Criticism can be easy. The waiter(s) are friendly and pleasant. The cook changes because the staff are dinosaurs in this profession.

24/03/2026: There are places whose very name brings a smile… Saint-Amour and Paradis. And when you step through the door of the Auberge du Paradis, the promise becomes reality. Here, time seems to stand still. The delicate and inspired décor silently tells a thousand stories, while the rooms, true havens of peace, envelop you in moments of gentleness and serenity. We often return… as if revisiting a happy memory.

05/02/2026: This was the most expensive night of our two-week trip through France and, unfortunately, our least favourite. We chose this remote destination specifically for the restaurant, "Joséphine à Table," but were told on arrival they wouldn't open it for just one reservation. Instead, we were ushered into a 5-course "experience" that cost 50% more than a Michelin-Bib Gourmand meal we’d had days earlier. For a total of €360 for dinner and a bed for the night (excluding breakfast), the value was simply not there. The courses were shared between two people, and the main meat course was very small—just a single slice of duck breast each, no fish course. To our surprise, dessert was not included in the set price, and the 'local' wine by the glass was very expensive. While the room itself was kitsch and fun, it was missing coffee-making facilities, had a couple of broken items, cut corners (e.g. re-used flipflops), and the toiletries were not premium at all. Spending nearly €400 was a shock. And the exchange still felt like we'd done something wrong by insisting we didn't need the very expensive breakfast. We truly wished we had spent another night at the chateau, with the local champagne for €7 a glass, and our night's stay a quarter of the price.

13/12/2025: I just discovered this Italian grocery store and it's delightful. A wide selection of high-quality Italian products, everything is excellent (well, I haven't tried everything yet, but there's no reason why it shouldn't be delicious 😋). I highly recommend it to all lovers of Italian food and products.

29/03/2026: Excellent place! The service is attentive and friendly. We were a group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal: simple but excellent cuisine, with locally sourced meats cooked to perfection! (I also loved the French toast for dessert!)

27/03/2026: Excellent! The beef with beer was delicious, the short ribs a real surprise, and the desserts were pure bliss. The service was pleasant and refined, and I loved the decor and the view into the kitchens. Thank you and well done!
