03/09/2024: Very good experience with our 3 children. Some people complain about the price but I found it very reasonable, very good value for money, they were truly fabulous! (Litchi, brown....!) These people should come to the Breton coasts in July/August to compare.... Very smiling owner, very commercial, very kind. I recommend!
11/08/2024: The ice creams including a great selection of sorbets were excellent - better than any we had in bigger cities during our trip. We got very big scoops. Staff were very friendly and stayed open after closing

21/01/2025: It's very rare that I give the maximum score but here frankly, very well received by a lady (the wife of the boss) who welcomed us very well 🤣, service (by a young beginner waiter) impeccable, you can consume the menu of the day or à la carte and for someone like me who is a driver (and yes), you can take a shower.
Seriously, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
02/01/2025: While passing through we had a very warm welcome, hearty, well-filled pizza, very affordable prices.

I stayed 20 minutes.... about 10 minutes of waiting while 3 people in front of me, the saleswoman was very calm, she also told her colleague that she was not going to rush. Then comes my turn, I am told 3 minutes to get the white chopsticks... I came out 10 minutes later...
All that to say 20 minutes for 12 baguettes
17/08/2024: Hello, I would like to testify that there is abuse of Marie baguettes: 2 purchased, one weighs only 210g instead of 250g (for a size of 32 cm) and the other weighs only 225g instead of 250g (for a size of 30 cm). I know that what matters is the weight, but that's not the point! Regarding the quantity of baguettes sold in a day, it smells like a scam!!! €1.10 per unit...

17/08/2024: Old hotel with charm and well located in the center of Chalon but the rooms, service and breakfast are absolutely not 4 stars.
17/08/2024: Smell of damp in the room; ineffective air conditioning which must date from the 1980s; few power outlets; uncomfortable spring bedding; paid parking even though customer service assured me that it was included in the price of the night. Restaurant ; vegetable pasta for 25 euros. Certainly a 4* hotel in the 80s but not anymore these days. Very disappointing stay.

Dirty restaurant room (floor, kennels, screws on the ground, screen and baby chair right in the middle of the tables), while there are only 2 customers on a Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Parquet all warped and rotted.
Chairs to review.
The waitress seems very busy on her phone even though we have been waiting for the menu for a while.
Questionable cleanliness of dishes.
I won't come back again.
27/11/2024: Friendly waiter, good dishes, well-filled cheese naan and tasty cumin rice, however the general state of the restaurant needs to be reviewed, which is a shame

12/07/2024: To avoid absolutely, the staff took advantage of us given our young age to make us pay much more than the initial price, they charged us 65€ instead of 50€. Unfortunately we realized it too late, very big scam ⚠️

11/08/2024: Service et accueil détestable.....la serveuse vous regarde et passe devant vous 3 à 4 fois sans rien vous demander ni vous dire bonjour.....elle a tout fait pour nous montrer que nous derangeons....après 20 minutes et 5 aller retour de sa part devant nous pour tout ranger......alors que d'autres tables étaient prises nous sommes partis.....je voudrais préciser que c'est pas la première fois mais la clairement on a senti qu'on dérangeait ...d'habitude on l'interpelle pour demander notre boisson mais on a décidé de ne plus jamais y boire un verre et aller chez des personnes agréables !!
11/08/2024: After going to the golf course, we wanted to have a drink. It’s 5:35 p.m. on a Friday. No hello, no glance. The waitress starts to tidy up and comes over to us to take the ashtray...still without a glance or taking our order. Maybe it will close but why not say so because on the site nothing is specified.....honestly it's a detestable welcome.....I put this opinion because as far as I remember the waitress is always very unpleasant and if you want a coffee you have to go get it at the bar.....we wanted to drink on the terrace and given the atmosphere and the lack of politeness we left and we will no longer give 1 euro to this establishment!
