22/06/2025: The owner is super friendly. So are the servers. The daily special is always very good. A sure bet

20/06/2025: We often go here, the food is good, but twice, when in a group, we are told someone has not paid and we have to make up the difference. It doesn't happen at the other 5 restaurants that we use.

22/11/2023: New owner. I was there on Saturday evening. Open to 4 cars. Great atmosphere. Very good food. You can drive there quietly.

31/10/2023: Not sure I will return to this establishment. Nothing Italian... Set menu of the day 17.90 Pâté en croute, veal paupiette with rice and mushroom sauce, and a basic flan without much flavor, a zero Coke and a coffee not even offered. Total 23.90. Clean toilet Too bad I didn't feel comfortable. Thanks all the same.

12/07/2024: To avoid absolutely, the staff took advantage of us given our young age to make us pay much more than the initial price, they charged us 65€ instead of 50€. Unfortunately we realized it too late, very big scam ⚠️

29/08/2024: Restaurant sur la place du village avec des plats traditionnels présentés un à un par le chef. Tout était excellent avec des produits régionnaux. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

19/08/2024: We spent a week in Valmorel. We went to a restaurant almost every evening, changing establishments each time. We can say that "La Marmite" is the best restaurant in Valmorel. The dishes are all homemade and the products are local. The two servers (a young blonde girl and a young man) are very friendly. In addition, they do their best to satisfy all customers even though all the tables are full! So, we went there to eat two evenings!!!

01/11/2024: Nous avons voulu rééssayer une énième fois les pizzas lorsque nous avions des amis, et encore une fois déçu. Ingrédients de mauvaise qualité et pâte avec aucun goût et cramée. De plus, le pizzaiolo n'est tellement pas sympathique que l'on a pas envi de revenir. Même pas capable de dire un bonsoir lorsqu'on arrive. Nous ne reviendrons plus 🤮.

04/08/2024: Tastes and colors... So yes, the pizzas are really loaded with toppings and cheap. It's true. We cannot say the opposite. But even on a pizza, and perhaps especially on a pizza, you need a little quality for the ingredients, otherwise it's just not great. Concerning the welcome and the atmosphere, we will describe them as rustic. And then the desserts... Misery... The profiteroles that come out of the cheap Metro freezers, which you are nevertheless charged quite a lot for. Pizzas, if you are hungry, are cheap, but without pleasure. On the other hand, desserts, no, it's shameful.

04/09/2024: A very nice place, I checked in late at night without prior reservation, the car broke down, they were towed by a tow truck, and I checked in at this hotel, very nice girls at the reception, clean rooms, in fact in the very center of the town, I am very grateful for the gentle welcome, I recommend it)))

24/08/2024: Hotel whose potential will be realized after the renovation of the rooms. In the meantime: the rooms are large, the bedding perfect, the cleanliness impeccable. Very good meal also in the restaurant in a very beautiful and tastefully renovated room. The service was attentive and full of small gestures. This hotel is indisputable value for money.

09/09/2024: Very beautiful and good cakes. A wide choice to satisfy all gourmets. Friendly and warm welcome. Prices remain high. An ideal Mâconnais for 6 people €30, Minigardise €1.80 each. A pastry not to be missed. Easy parking, accessible to people with reduced mobility.

30/08/2024: Le 30 août 2024, j'ai acheté un soit-disant "idéal maconnais" pour 2 personnes à 15 €. J'ai bien demandé à la vendeuse s'il était du jour, elle m'a répondu "OUI". Je ne sais pas quoi penser de sa réponse !!! Je lui ai fait confiance, elle m'a menti, il n'était pas frais du tout, il était sec, le sucre glace n'était pas poudreux, lui aussi était sec et en petites plaques sur le dessus du gâteau, l'ensemble était dégueulasse, il a fini à la poubelle c'est la deuxième fois que dans cette pâtisserie on me ment. Cette fois, je laisse un avis très négatif sur cette pâtisserie qui de plus, quand on rentre dedans à une odeur nauséabonde cela aurait dû m'insister à ne pas acheter cette chose et à sortir de cette pâtisserie. J'ai décidé de ne plus y remettre les pieds. À fuir.

01/12/2024: A beautiful place on the Col des Chèvres road, cuisine made from fresh and very well cooked products, a very affordable daily menu. Quality service without being intrusive. I highly recommend but don't hesitate to book.

20/11/2024: a French auberge like there are only a few left. Pleasant atmosphere, simple, tasty dishes, reasonable price-performance ratio, always worth a visit.
