25/09/2024: A big fan of Cheese Cake which is a rare commodity in Chalon, we have finally found or tasted the best!
18/09/2024: Rich choice of teas (and coffees), delicious homemade orange cake and courteous welcome, all in a charming, cozy setting with a soft and jazzy musical atmosphere. This first visit will not be the last... The "44" (Grand'rue) is a beautiful establishment for a gourmet break. I highly recommend. Kind regards.

21/08/2024: Magnificent setting, gourmet menu, unfortunately out of 4 dishes 2 based on beef which was not worth the price we paid, a very hard piece to eat for 22 euros per dish it was bad. On the other hand, great dessert.

30/08/2024: While passing through the region for our vacation, we had lunch there twice. Hearty and good pizzas, pasta that satisfied our children and a top Burger.
All at a very reasonable or even low price!
The 2 waitresses were very friendly and pleasant.
In short, we had a good time.

04/09/2024: A very nice place, I checked in late at night without prior reservation, the car broke down, they were towed by a tow truck, and I checked in at this hotel, very nice girls at the reception, clean rooms, in fact in the very center of the town, I am very grateful for the gentle welcome, I recommend it)))
24/08/2024: Hotel whose potential will be realized after the renovation of the rooms.
In the meantime: the rooms are large, the bedding perfect, the cleanliness impeccable.
Very good meal also in the restaurant in a very beautiful and tastefully renovated room. The service was attentive and full of small gestures.
This hotel is indisputable value for money.

21/09/2024: Not really time to make a choice. It's hard to make a favorite choice. Press by customers and sellers. Team too small! Now no more bread at +/-7 p.m. and other rare products! 'we don't want to make too much product' like in the morning no bread at 8 a.m. the bakers have just started. Marie Blachere has accustomed us to better things.

Weekend discovery of the region, very warm welcome from the owner upon our arrival. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The building is very beautiful.
08/11/2023: We spent two good nights here. It is a real Chateau, the service is good and the breakfast is really good.
Good central location, but restaurants are only reachable by car or taxi.

The starters a little limited to charcuterie but apparently more choice at
the interior but we didn't have the information!
On the other hand, the snails are always excellent.
Hats off to the organization of this event
