22/09/2024: After two original and excellent starters, a sublime grouper for two, perfectly cooked. A little noisy but with your feet in the water you forget everything. I recommend.

22/09/2024: Really pleasant setting and atmosphere, on the edge of the beach, perfectly decent cuisine, the service is friendly but there can be a long wait, this is a recurring problem in more and more restaurants with the lack of staff. Slightly expensive prices which have not improved since recent inflation. But the success is there....better to reserve the weekend!

22/08/2024: Pulled pork burger at the top! Good quality matured meat (rare in restaurants) Original menu in salty and ice cream. Reasonable price and very good value for money.

05/12/2024: Having come as a group in the evening, we were delighted with the welcome and the dishes served! The fondue was divine, a good winter dish, very comforting in the cold. The lost brioche is also to be tried with your eyes closed. Very nice address, well located. The staff was pleasant, efficient, fast. What more could you ask for?

22/08/2024: Very friendly little store which offers good local products: cold meats, cheeses, alcohol, jams... and souvenir gifts from your holidays. The welcome is very pleasant, the preparations: raclettes, fondues are excellent and in good quantity with equipment ready to spend a pleasant evening with the family after a good hike! the address can only be recommended!

29/03/2025: A very pleasant time at La Bûche, the cuisine is quality with varied flavors and quality products! The service is efficient and courteous with little touches for customers. I recommend this restaurant whether for a warm evening meal or a moment on the terrace under the Les Arcs sun PS: Special mention for the perfectly mastered simmered beef chuck

28/03/2025: The owner and her colleague are very kind! The service was very good. The classic dishes are a little more expensive than elsewhere, but the products are also better, so it's normal. The dessert menu is original and very good!

30/06/2025: I had lunch at Gran Scala during a trip to the lake. A no-frills place where you can breathe an authentic atmosphere. Very friendly staff, the waiters speak fluent English, Italian, French and German and are very kind. The cuisine is tasty, mountain dishes with local products, well cooked and with generous portions. The price for the area and the offer is more than fair; two first courses, a second course, a dessert and water around €40. I recommend stopping if you are in the area and want to eat.

25/08/2024: We consumed 2 chocolates and 1 slice of cake.......the chocolates were milk with a little cocoa and the cake was nothing special.....we paid 16.10 euros.....it wasn't worth it ....... moreover we had to sit at the only table inside because the chairs outside were wet and no one thought to dry them...... a few meters above there is a very much better.......much lower prices and they also sell the cheese made by them with the milk of the cows that graze freely and happily in front (excellent and at a good price)

26/11/2024: After eating crêpes bretonnes throughout France, this one truly stood out as one of the best I've had. Delicious galette and ingredients, lovely clean place and very friendly service. I'll be remembering this one for a while!

01/12/2024: Arriving at 11:55 a.m. at the Riva without reservation, I asked if there was room for 1 person, the owner looked at the room of around 30 seats and seated me nonchalantly while only 4 people were seated, I said to myself that the service will be quick... I order a Milanese escalope and ask for the pasta without cheese because I am allergic and the answer was: the escalope is breaded with cheese like all Milanese escalopes…. Having eaten a few in my life it was the first time I heard that, so I choose a calzone answer: we can't because we don't have any more eggs, so I take another pizza. Finally at 12:20 p.m. when the room has 11 seats, the owner comes back and tells me that finally, she can make me an escalope without cheese… An escalope without any work with buttered pasta was served to me (26 euros per dish….) At 1:10 p.m., my bill: a Milanese escalope and a glass of rosé for 30 euros. I ask for a bill without details for a meal, I am told: it’s impossible… FYI, I have been eating at restaurants from Tuesday to Friday for 20 years and this is the first time I have been given this kind of response….. In other words, if you want to be unwelcome and eat at the convenience of management, don't hesitate, this is the right place.

30/11/2024: A good atmosphere. A friendly team. Foie gras... A killer. The rest is the same and all this for a reasonable price.

30/06/2025: Today's menu: Italian salad (green salad, tomatoes, mozzarella, cured ham), cold roast beef and fries, vacherin) All very good and served on the terrace, and for a really reasonable price. Easy parking.

05/06/2025: Good value for money. Sufficient portions. Fast service. A big thank you to the waitress who also gave me some paracetamol! A nice gesture!

11/09/2024: A first telephone contact for our last minute reservation with the chef, very pleasant. He clearly explained to us how his establishment works regarding meals, half-board and breakfast. On site, we were well received, and he insisted on the fact that there was no obligation to consume on site. The room was very clean, well decorated and spacious, there were 2 of us in a room for 4. Having arrived a little late on a Sunday, we stayed there for dinner. The menu invites us to discover flavors that we don't all expect to find in the mountains. The dishes are very well presented and above all excellent. And I find it perfect to consider children as full guests by offering them the same menu in adapted portions. The Chef made us want to come back for his next menu. The Service: I read the comments,...in my opinion the staff did too and took them into account. The menu was explained to us with a smile, we were regularly asked if everything was going well. The job of restaurateur is not easy every day and it can happen that annoyances prevent us from being at the top all the time. For our part, everything went well. Keep it up. THANKS

05/09/2024: Very nice little restaurant The servers and managers are top notch. Even if you are a broken customer😀. The waiter offers a table inside but I prefer outside. To finish inside around an excellent raclette for my children and me a delicious Savoyard fondue 😋. Thanks to the whole team. And don’t hesitate to go there. It’s great!
