01/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve 2025 at the Paradice. The show was beautiful, but unfortunately the meal was very average, light, and worthy of Piccard. For the price, we only got one glass of red wine for the entire meal. Not even a glass of champagne at midnight! Hopefully, those who spent New Year's Eve 2026 there had a better meal, as this somewhat spoiled the overall experience. Take a page from the book of the Cabaret Magique in Sète, where we were this past New Year's: they have real chefs, with white, red, and champagne wines to accompany the dishes.

05/12/2024: The dough for the pancakes is tasteless and the ingredients are extremely salty, which was also the case for the pancake of the person who accompanied me, although different. It's astonishing. The cider is average. The prices are excessive. It's a shame because the place is nice.

23/11/2024: Every time we come to Chambéry, we necessarily stop at the Le Gulliver creperie! This year again we were delighted! The service, the kindness of the manager, his good advice, the quality of the pancakes and crepes without forgetting the value for money! If you go to Chambéry, go and enjoy it. THANK YOU!

26/01/2026: A very disappointing experience. The welcome was cold and unfriendly, clearly giving the impression that we were bothering them. The whipped cream served was just a tiny bit: no consistency, completely melted, and lacking volume—clearly unacceptable for a product that was charged. Furthermore, the waitress and her friends occupied the best seating area in the café, as if it were their own private space, when it is normally a customer area. The whole experience gave an impression of a lack of professionalism and consideration for the customers. I do not recommend it.

26/01/2026: I'd like to respond to what the previous person wrote. To add some nuance, the place is still really nice for relaxing, having a coffee, and the products are good. Normally, the quality is quite good. However, I completely agree with the assessment regarding the service: during my last visit, that's clearly where the experience was disappointing. It's a shame, because with more professional and welcoming service, the place could be very pleasant.

23/03/2025: Warm welcome, the service very good, the cuisine nothing to say, frankly very good. Dishes ordered: Beef Tartare, Very fresh and perfect accompaniments, fresh fries. Desserts: Far Breton, a classic that we love. The atmosphere is excellent, I highly recommend :)

09/12/2025: I simply introduced myself to wash my hands, something a very friendly gentleman allowed me to do, and upon leaving I was practically chased away like an insect when a "woman," or at least someone who looked like one, asked me, "WHO ARE YOU???" as if I were about to rob her bar. A very strange and disrespectful welcome, but I have a pretty good idea why I was greeted that way... ^^

Each dish delights the eyes with its exquisite presentation and enchants all the senses with its succulence. The portions are generous. The decor is magnificent; the dining room is very spacious and truly bright. Photos: Poached egg in red wine, pan-fried mushrooms and country bacon, meat jus. Pollock fillet with a creamy herb broth. Chocolate fondant. The poaching of the egg. Sylvie delicately pairs the egg and the wine. This perfect union creates the sweetest sensation on the palates of every captivated and delighted guest. 06/01/2026: AMAZING! We were late seating in a full restaurant and they were helpful, friendly, food was amazing - we went for crepes and a salad which were all heavenly! We tried to go back again for dessert but were too late

08/07/2025: We come every year at the same time, from June to the end of August, and until now, the friendliness of this place has attracted us. This Saturday, the welcome was cold. We asked if we could eat, but there were only platters. We then asked for trays of fries, which until now hadn't been a problem. Then it was no, we don't serve fries with the platters... we asked for a cocktail... and it would be blueberry, and there were no other options. When the person brought us the platter and the accompanying bread, she didn't tell us that it was stale. However, she gently pointed it out to the customers at the next table because she knew them well. The good thing about the evening was the atmosphere, as the two DJs were very professional.

06/07/2025: Overwhelmed service, even though reservations were required for the American Car Rally. Lack of organization. We waited over an hour to be served, and even then I had to "bang my fist on the table."

02/02/2026: A very pleasant stay in this charming chalet in the pretty village of Crest Voland, far from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts and ideally located opposite the ski lift connecting to Mont Lachat and the starting point for snowshoeing trails. The entire team is welcoming, friendly, and very efficient. The breakfasts are delicious and generous, as are the local dishes, all homemade with quality ingredients. A real bonus is the lovely swimming pool for relaxing with views of the Aravis mountain range. We spent a few wonderful days at Le Caprice des Neiges and highly recommend this hotel.

30/01/2026: I highly recommend this establishment! It's very comfortable and the staff is incredibly attentive, always with a smile. Plus, the food is excellent: the cuisine is a delight. A truly great place to stay.
