04/09/2024: We had a delicious meal here. We were helped quickly and professionally, good English was spoken so that we could make ourselves clear 😉. The restaurant and especially the conservatory have a nice appearance and it is nice that you can hear the water flowing next to you. When the weather is warm enough, the conservatory can also be opened.

20/09/2024: Deplorable reception: we arrive, ask if we can have an aperitif on the terrace, the waitress asks us if we are going to eat, I tell her that first, we want to have an aperitif before lunch, she leaves, the boss comes back and told us aggressively: "if you don't eat here, we serve you at the bar, otherwise, you vacate the place!"
Too bad, we could have been customers, with a little kindness...
So we "cleared" and ate in a more welcoming restaurant.
Surprisingly, a few months after this disappointment, the said boss took the liberty of publishing a negative opinion on my business in which he had never set foot!
Uplifting!
Fortunately, Google ended up deleting his indelicate and false comment...after several months...

27/01/2025: Having heard about this restaurant from acquaintances, I decided to try it by having a takeaway meal.
I had two burgers, one of which was on the menu with fries without a drink and also a homemade sauce. It cost me a little over €20.
Positive point: The burgers and fries were good (the strong point of the burgers are their sauce and the fries were very well cooked). The presentation is really inspiring.
Negative point: the quality/quantity/price ratio. Let me explain: when I order for more than €20 including a menu for more than €13 which does not include a drink, I expect the burgers and fries to hold me back which was not the case. case here. And again by luck and greed, I had a second burger which cost 7€ which also left me hungry. And when I say that, it’s because I was still a little hungry, but also the desire for more.
In addition, when ordering from specified via the order terminal that I did not want a product in a burgers, but this request was ignored.
In summary, the burgers are good, but for me we need to review the size of the burgers and the portions for this price.
Ps: I compare my order to other restaurants specializing in burgers in Chambéry and no, not well-known fast food chains.
16/01/2025: I had a hash brown burger. It really wasn't very good. Not friendly, unheated restaurant, smell of bad frying, no soap in the toilets, very expensive for what it is. I wanted to try and it did. You can find much better for less in Chambéry.

23/08/2024: We called for the bowling alley, the staff made fun of us and refused us even though it closed at 12 a.m., we called at 10 p.m., I advise against it
22/08/2024: Uninteresting place apart from being able to have a drink in a group, not really soulful, the service is long long long. Bowling is undoubtedly quite fun if you are lucky enough to be able to approach the lanes where the customers play more pétanque than bowling.

14/09/2024: We were 4 friends delighted with our evening at l'Insolite. We had eaten at the edge of Lake Bourget before and then came dancing! Very friendly team, great atmosphere, the cocktails, beers and soft drinks offered were very good. We left when there were too many people on the track around 1am. Clientele mostly in their forties on Friday evening. Go there on Saturday evening if you want a slightly younger atmosphere. Play more hits from the 80s/90s on Friday evenings.

04/05/2024: The terrace is in a nice spot on the slopes. They have a small takeaway hut for paninis and the like. The prices at this hut are good, but you do get mediocre food. A chicken panini is a panini with chicken nuggets. But for a quick stopover it's fine.
The restaurant, on the other hand, was really bad. Several things were already gone and the price for a bit of normal food is very high. 19 euros for an easy pasta is not necessary and does not make sense. 24 euros for a simple chicken burger is also ridiculously expensive. In addition, the staff forgets to take your order again. This meant we had to wait three times. They are also not aware in advance of what is no longer there. This makes it take even longer.
27/04/2024: We had a great time with the restaurant team, very welcoming, fast service, the dishes were in very good condition, well seasoned, a real treat.
We recommend and we will come back with great pleasure.

The place is rather old but the meals are excellent...that's probably the main thing but the prices remain expensive.
28/11/2024: Excellent table with very good value for money, the staff is very helpful.
Not concerned with the hotel.

23/09/2024: I ate there this afternoon for the first time, I had a kebab, nothing to say, the bread is very good and the meat too. I'm stuck at the end of the meal. And I think I know enough about kebab to say that it's a good kebab. Surprised that some people were sick here..

14/08/2024: Très déçu par le prix de 36,00 € pour une croziflette, une tarte et une bière pression en 25 cl. Je pense que je me suis fait avoir par la demoiselle à la caisse. Après réflexion, il semblerait bien m'être fait voler. C'est pas bien d'arnaquer les touristes. Passer votre chemin, vous êtes prévenus... Dimanche 11 août vers 14h. Je comprends pourquoi les restaurants ont peu de monde, il faut mieux prévoir la glacière, on moins on n'est pas déçu. J'aimerais bien connaître les prix que j'ai consommé.

24/04/2024: Mocktails hors de prix à 15€ remplis aux 2/3 de glace pilée !certes on nous a expliqué que les matières premières étaient chères , je reste sceptique! très déçue étant cliente depuis plus de 13 ans dans cet établissement !
23/03/2024: Il s'agit du bar de l'hôtel Les Suites du Nevada, de la maison Bouvier.
Comme tous les autres établissements de cette maison, il ne peut qu'être constaté une baisse significative de la qualité de l'ensemble des prestations.
La qualité et la rigueur professionnelle du personnel sont des plus médiocres avec de grandes disparités entre les différents interlocuteurs rencontrés.
Le service est long, laborieux et brouillon.
La politesse et la bienséance sont des vertus clairement perdues dans tous les établissements Bouvier.
La qualité des plats proposés n'est plus au rendez-vous de ce que nous connaissions par le passé.
Ainsi, la quiche, mais aussi la truite, sont noyées dans une masse informe de salade, les pommes de terre, de gros calibre, ne sont pas pelées, les burgers sont servis froids ...
Les prix, sont, quant à eux, en constante augmentation.
Ainsi, pour exemple:
- la salade à la quiche vous en coûtera 19€,
- les deux nuggets-frites, 26€,
- un verre de Chignin 14€
- une part de dessert laissé à température ambiante (je vous laisse imaginer un flan laissé plusieurs heures à température ambiante), 8€.
Etc etc etc
Il s'agit là d'une immense déception mais aussi d'une grande déconvenue,
où la déconnexion des prix avec la qualité des prestations proposées est clairement rédhibitoire.
