05/09/2026: I recently moved to Aix-les-Bains for work. I didn't know the city yet and wanted to go out in the evenings, so this place was one of my first suggestions. I searched on Google. I looked at some photos and the atmosphere seemed nice. I went there for the first time, and at the entrance, the bouncer wouldn't let me in because, and I quote, "it won't be possible since I don't know you," even though I was sober and well-dressed. I asked him how I was supposed to get in in the coming days if I didn't know you, and he told me that wouldn't be possible either. I'm very disappointed, as I was really looking forward to enjoying myself. I hope that after this review, things will be different the next time I go there. Thank you.

19/08/2026: The waiters are certainly pleasant to look at, but the prices exceed Switzerland's GDP. €8.50 + €0.50 for 7 frozen mozzarella sticks that are slightly too stretchy... or the squid rings from the school cafeteria (not €1)... thankfully there's a tray of fries, diluted ketchup, and mayo... Speaking of the fries... they're cooked but as empty as my bank account. Note that the "tapas" were served 30 minutes after payment... perhaps a way to get the customer drunk and make them forget how expensive frozen food is... The establishment charges as much as France during tax season (50 cents per drink on the terrace... I can't imagine drinking a spritz from a cardboard cup). The Plastics Directive is sweating bullets with plastic straws and cutlery... Regarding the cocktails, they're drinkable but could be better. Finally, we understand the lovely terrace... although some of the seats could use a refresh... Anyway, it's so expensive that even my card refused to process the payment. I'm complaining, I'm complaining... luckily the view is good... 👍 (Does anyone have Etchebest's number... ALED)

17/08/2026: We booked a table a week ago and at the last minute we found out we'd be seated in full sun like everyone else who hadn't booked.

26/08/2026: It's impossible to order just a portion of fries. "We cook here, it's not snacking." I understand that, but if someone in the group, like in our case, has several food intolerances, why not make an effort? Is it better to pay for one dish and leave two-thirds of it? €24 for poutine with not-so-homemade fries and just a simple cheese sauce on top... Clearly exorbitant prices. A charcuterie platter is €16, a charcuterie platter in Les Menuires is €14, and twice as much. Of our entire stay, this was the only "bad" experience, in terms of service.

12/08/2026: This restaurant doesn't accept children. We were thrown out. The owners are awful and unpleasant. They pick and choose their customers. It's discrimination. Everyone, don't go to this restaurant.

17/01/2026: It was to be expected, this restaurant is so dirty. Their children climb on the ice cream tub with their shoes on, take the candy with their hands, and put it back in. This restaurant is unacceptable. The toilets are disgusting. It's no wonder it's closed now. I spoke to the owner about it, and he just laughed; he didn't care at all.

29/08/2026: It's a disgrace. While the staff are welcoming, the owner doesn't accept the slightest criticism and always has an answer for everything. We asked for our dish to be slightly warmed because it was a bit cold, and he told us it had just been taken out of the refrigerator and asked if we were just looking for a fault for the sake of it. The apartment wasn't clean; we considered leaving without sleeping.

31/07/2026: Avoid this place! The manager was incredibly unpleasant; upon arrival, we turned around and left because we had a very unfriendly dog.

15/09/2026: Disappointed with my visit on Tuesday, September 15th, around 9:00 AM. I bought this drink, and it wasn't until I got home and went to open it that I realized it had clearly already been opened: when I turned the cap, there was no safety "click," it just opened immediately. I find it quite worrying that a drink could be sold in this condition. For a food product, you should be able to be sure that the bottle has never been opened before purchase. I obviously didn't drink it, and I've attached a photo. I should also mention that the saleswoman there that morning was unfortunately not very friendly, which didn't make the experience any more pleasant. The drink still cost me €3.40, and as a precaution, it's going straight in the bin. Products should at least be checked before being put on sale, especially when it comes to drinks intended for immediate consumption. This kind of thing shouldn't happen.

17/08/2026: Since my local bakery, Les 3 K, is closed on Sundays, I reluctantly made my way to La Panière where I bought what La Panière dares to call a chicken mayo sandwich. Two measly lettuce leaves, three cherry tomato halves, and five tiny pieces of chicken barely able to stand a chance. All this for the modest sum of €5.60. The photo below speaks for itself. Everyone can form their own opinion, regardless of the cleverly artificial response the owner will undoubtedly give to my comment. A word to the wise 😡

26/02/2026: 22 euros for a twisted pastry, a Savoy cross, a hot chocolate, and a cheese baguette to eat in. The food isn't anything special. Dry pastries and viennoiseries, and a hefty markup (apparently based on how much you think you're eating?) if you ask to eat in. The service is very sloppy, rushed, and unfriendly. Tip for future customers: Don't order in, they double the prices. Avoid it!!!

21/12/2025: Grumpy waitress Annoyed when asked a question Limited selection at 7 a.m. Only one raisin bread, for example. Lectures a customer who buys her entire stock, what she had planned to sell for the day. Why go into this line of work if you're so bitter? I fear the financial results will reflect her lack of enthusiasm. Customers should avoid this place.
