09/02/2026: Senior residence with some apartments offered in a hotel-style format. A wonderful welcome, clean, very functional, and comfortable apartments. A huge thank you especially to Chaïma, who welcomed us with truly remarkable kindness and attentiveness. She promptly informed us of the delay with one of our bags, with great professionalism and consideration. Chaïma was lovely, very professional, always smiling, and extremely accommodating. She's clearly the kind of person who makes all the difference during a stay. We will definitely be back next year.

29/11/2025: We had an absolutely remarkable time at Château de la Cueillette. The spa and hammam offer a soothing atmosphere, perfectly designed for relaxation and well-being. Everything is clean, calm, and very well maintained. But what makes the experience truly memorable are the massages. The professionalism is evident from the very first minutes: controlled movements, attentive listening, quality of touch, precision… you feel you are in the hands of passionate and highly trained professionals. It's not just a simple relaxation massage, but a true sensory and therapeutic experience. In addition, the bistro/restaurant attached to the establishment was a superb discovery. The dishes are flavorful, refined, and the balance of tastes is remarkable. The portions are generous without being excessive, elegant without being pretentious. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, especially considering the culinary level on offer. In short: a refined, welcoming, and relaxing place where everything is harmonious and thoughtfully designed. Whether for a massage, a relaxing spa experience, or a gourmet meal, I recommend it without hesitation.

18/11/2025: The Spa La Cueillette was a wonderful experience. With a treatment you can use the warm pool, not-too-hot jacuzzi, steam room, and dry sauna for a total of 2 hours before or after treatment. There were lots of lounging chairs and many almost private areas to relax in. Not the kind of place you just go for your treatment time. In the warmer weather it must be lovely as there are many areas outdoors as well. The treatment room was simple but clean. My therapist was very skilled.

07/12/2025: Our experience, after a night spent at the Hôtel de Bourgogne in Saulieu, included a very pleasant exchange with our host. While the room was admittedly rustic, the bedding was impeccable. Impersonal hotel chains are not for us. We had a delightful encounter with the owner. It all started with a Cuiralatre counterweighted rotisserie that stood proudly in one of the dining rooms. We also learned about the creation of Courtepaille in Burgundy by Jean Loisier, the brand's founder. We learned a great deal and wish him well in passing on the torch; a lifetime of experience is priceless! One night from December 6th to 7th.

16/03/2026: I highly recommend Délices de Byzance in Semur-en-Auxois. For me, it's clearly the gourmet kebab in the region. The quality is consistently excellent: the meat is flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is prepared with great care. You can really taste the difference. I live in Vitteaux and I make the trip regularly, often with my family, because we love this restaurant so much. We've never been disappointed. The staff is always very professional, smiling, and pleasant, which makes the experience even better. The welcome is warm, and you feel truly at ease every time you visit. Plus, they work very quickly and efficiently: even when it's busy, the service remains effective, and you hardly ever wait, which is really appreciated. And above all, it's excellent every time: the portions are generous, the flavors are top-notch, and you always leave satisfied. For me, Délices de Byzance is a must-visit in Semur-en-Auxois.

16/03/2026: Honestly, a really great kebab! The meat is flavorful, the bread is fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, and the service is quick. We come from Vitteaux without a reservation, with or without our children, and it's always a real treat! Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews, because everything always goes very well during our visits, and above all, they always ask us before we leave if everything was alright... Which just goes to show you sometimes have to form your own opinion! Plus, they have very good falafel for vegetarians 🤤😋 I highly recommend it: you can go there without hesitation and on an empty stomach: a guaranteed delicious meal!!! 😊

09/11/2025: Avoid room 102 We stayed at the Hotel Bourgignon in July this summer on our way back from our vacation. We had very fond memories of both the room and the restaurant. We had booked a ground-floor room; we are in our seventies and my husband has respiratory problems. The hotel manager had warned us that only one small room remained. Upon arrival, the hotel seemed less well-maintained and our room almost unsanitary: dirty walls, broken radiator, curtains hanging off, completely worn-out mattress, no bedside tables or lamps, questionable sheets, wrinkled pillows, a dirty wastebasket that hadn't been cleaned in ages, and a bathroom that was acceptable, although very dark. This room shouldn't be rented out; according to the hotel manager, he can't afford to renovate it. I invite the hotel manager to sleep there for 95 euros, the price we paid. Thankfully, we found the restaurant again, with its excellent food and wines; congratulations to the chef and the friendly, competent waitstaff. In conclusion, it's a shame we were left with a negative impression. I felt very anxious in this room, which should have been a place of relaxation after a long drive. Had it not been for the fatigue, we would have been back on the road.

04/02/2026: For the past few years, we've been coming to Buffet d'Asie from time to time. Just after the Covid pandemic, the restaurant underwent a complete renovation. Without being excessive, for the price of a set menu you can choose what you like; it's self-service. I think the food is quite good and there's a good selection.
