01/10/2024: We visited this hotel and restaurant last week with my partners mum and dad for 2 nights whilst viewing a property to buy in France. We booked the restaurant for an evening meal after our 11 hour drive. The staff appeared to be impatient and mainly rude as we couldn’t speak French. Which I do understand is our fault! However there was no way of them telling us what the food was and then when it did come it was very overpriced and below average food. They cleared up and basically turned everything off when we were practically still eating. The staff were just waiting around with their coats on wanting to get out as soon as possible. The next night we gave the evening meal a miss but went in at 8:45pm to the bar for a drink before bed. We asked if we could sit down. But the tables were already laid for breakfast so we were basically told to just stand in the doorway by the bar with our coats on and drink a very over priced drink. I was so furious that at this point we had already paid over £900 euros for the rooms and the initial evening meal to be told we could not sit down… breakfast was very basic with hardly nothing left after 1 hour of it opening. I would not return - if we do buy the local property - I will not be sending any family or friends here.

08/08/2024: I went to lunch with my wife, we ate a very fresh seafood platter. The waitress, GIGI, is very friendly and smiling as is her boss. Thank you to the whole team for this great time!

05/09/2024: Passing through for the day. Pizzas 🍕 generous and very good. A great original choice. The young man who served us was friendly and welcoming. Possibility of eating on the picnic tables. Convenient parking on site. I recommend. THANKS.

18/08/2024: From a "slightly shabby" exterior, the kitchen and the restaurateur are well above that. The cuisine is monstrously good, from starter to dessert, in a very friendly atmosphere, the chef very warm and attentive, on a terrace with a magnificent lime tree on the banks of the Saône. Fresh products from starter to dessert which is very pleasant today at the time of frozen food for a very reasonable price. We were looking for good traditional cuisine without being gourmet and we were won over. Too bad we don't live in the area, it would undoubtedly be one of our favorite restaurants.

22/03/2024: Pleasant evening in this restaurant even if it was full this evening. I thank the waiters who did everything possible to free up a table for us. Despite the world and the technical problems they had to face... the very warm team I recommend.

23/08/2024: Endroit à éviter ! La tête de veau n’est pas bonne du tout, la sauce qui l’accompagne n’a aucun gout. Des plats beaucoup trop chers par rapport à la qualité (les entrées sont au meme prix que les plats ???). La carte des vins est très très très très longue… et bien sur excessivement chère. Les escargots sont à 12 euros les 6 ? Le saumon gravlax est à 18 euros sans accompagnement sans rien. Personnellement nous n’avons jamais été aussi déçus en bourgogne. Pour fini en beauté, une amabilité hors pair ! Nul

02/08/2024: Schönes und typisches Restaurant mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Service sehr gut, Bresse-Huhn für 100 Euro definitiv überzahlt und ein mageres Huhn ! Mit grünen Bohnen als Gemüsebeilage kein Volltreffer! Dessert, gateau framboise war etwas warme Vanillecrème mit 5 Himbeeren - auch kein Hingucker! Sehr gut besetzt und daher sicher zu empfehlen!

24/05/2024: I wouldn't have enough gratitude to thank this bar. Beyond the employees, beyond the atmosphere and well beyond the decoration, I would like to thank the boss who despite everything remains smiling, welcoming and understanding. I have been in Dijon for two years now, I have walked up and down the city but I have never found a single place where I felt as comfortable and safe as in this bar. There is no point in supporting my point, the gratitude I have for this place will speak for itself. Thank you very much to the boss, who in one year was able to build my Roman empire. Come in without ever worrying about having a bad evening, in this establishment, that doesn't exist.

16/07/2024: I can't say the cakes are bad, they are good. But we ordered 2 cakes for 2 birthdays, a strawberry cake and a chocolate crisp. Like I said, they're good, but nothing exceptional considering the prices. What really displeased me were the happy birthday messages on the cakes... Because in fact, they weren't on the cakes! They were on sheets of marzipan in separate boxes. The problem was that it was impossible to place it on the chocolate crisp since there was a wavy plate of chocolate on the cake... And for the strawberry cake, placing the plate on the cake with the strawberries underneath was unsuitable. .. It would have seemed much more logical to us to write happy birthday messages on the cakes... Given the reputation of this pastry, we might expect better... Too bad... We didn't see it before opening the boxes, otherwise we would have told you at the store. Think about it next time...

25/09/2024: Discreet and efficient service. Food and wine of a very good standard. The extra morels with the Bresse poultry is really generous and the whole thing is very good. Very beautiful view of the Palace of the Dukes and the night lights. We were very satisfied with our visit.
