27/06/2026: This is the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever paid for at an ice cream parlor. I think they used a teaspoon to scoop it out. I finished it in three bites. When I mentioned how small it was, I I was told that's the size served. Save your money and avoid this place 💰

20/06/2026: We loved our overnight stay at Abbaye de Maizières. Our room was up a fair few steps on a spiral staircase, and the reception/lobby bar sits in a wonderful, cool cellar-type space. We didn't eat here, simply because there are so many options in town, but the place itself is lovely and special — you really do feel the sense of history. Parking can be a bit tricky, though we found a spot on the street nearby with no trouble. The gentleman who looked after us is a real gem — into his cars, and he made our stay memorable. Thoroughly recommended. Just make sure you're happy with a bit of a climb if you end up with a room at the top, like us! 🤣

Our room was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending historic charm with the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The service was warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The team was helpful and accommodating, making everything feel easy from arrival to departure. If you’re looking for a place that adds a unique and memorable dimension to your time in Beaune this hotel is a solid choice.

16/05/2026: A small, unassuming restaurant that serves divine frogs' legs, perfectly seasoned. The owner is a lively character with a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. And it's always a pleasure to eat with your fingers. We'll definitely be back!
