06/10/2024: Delicious meal at this lovely restaurant. Will never forget the soupe a l'ail, which was complimentary. Friendly, efficient staff. Gorgeous night time setting.

27/09/2024: Looked like a place for locals and menu quite limited (if you're a veggy you have one salad option) but first impressions deceive...what they do they do very well indeed , soup, salads and duck all delicious and the medley of puddings also excellent and recommended to share unless someone was spectacularly hungry

03/09/2024: A square in the historic center of Périgueux where there are many interesting restaurants. In summer the terraces cover it entirely.

01/09/2024: This restaurant has changed a lot. Regular customers but we won't go anymore. We were refused because there were 7 of us. They preferred to take two tables of 4 arriving well after us. Not very commercial. To be avoided

22/12/2024: Very good restaurant for a menu at 24€80 duck spring rolls, coq au vin, walnut tart. Super good, good quantity neither too much nor not enough, super digestible, top service neither too fast nor too long, super smiling and available waitress. In a magnificent city, on a Sunday lunchtime, in the absence of going to eat at the Christmas market which was very rainy today. Thank you for this good time.

27/10/2024: We discovered the friend's lair by chance. Lunch service. The exterior doesn't look much, but we discovered a beautiful room with exposed stonework. We had the daily menu. It was excellent. Our 3 year old son also enjoyed the burger from the children's menu. The waitress was very pleasant, the service quick. It was perfect, thank you.

17/09/2024: I think I got a dud room. It was small and outdated. There was a bad odor seemingly from the A/C that never subsided. The bathroom amenities had been updated but the walls looked like a child's art project. Thankfully, this is. It somewhere you stay to hang out in the room. The breakfast and hospitality were wonderful and the view on the river side is hard to beat. If you're considering staying here, don't be dissuaded by my review. Just ask for room 8 -- I got a leak when heading out and it looked beautifully updated complete with a river view.

15/11/2024: We were accepted unlike the other restaurants in Sarlat which only took customers by reservation, for our greatest pleasure. Excellent restaurant, with authentic cuisine from the Perigord region. The welcome is warm and the dishes are homages to French culinary traditions. Very pleasant surprise, we ate very decently at a reasonable price. We recommend this restaurant!

10/12/2024: Beware of scam! never buy a toy or dwarf goat there.... My family was scammed supposedly that they were toy and dwarf goats for €300 each only to end up with farm goats!
