29/04/2026: As good s always. Been visiting for the last 6 years, and watched the evolution. Highly recommended. If you're turning u on a Tuesday night in April, you can probably walk in, otherwise a reservation is a good idea. Salads are good, Chacuterie plates are lovely, indeed everything is prepared with care.

04/04/2026: I've never seen a restaurant so welcoming, friendly, and above all, delicious. It's definitely my number one choice in this city, where I'm just passing through for work. Honestly, it's the best I've ever tried! Special mention to the crispy leeks! Big thanks to the owners of this restaurant, and thank you again for this wonderful experience!

09/09/2025: A delightful surprise for a family dinner. A superb and truly authentic setting. Unbeatable value for money in the Périgord Noir region... €23 for a starter, main course, and dessert. A lovely and generous couple, both in their food and their hospitality. Local produce served in generous portions. Bravo!

22/11/2025: A delightful surprise! A charming little hotel with old-world appeal, very comfortable, impeccable service, helpful staff, and a very generous breakfast... Ideally located just a few minutes from Sarlat. We would definitely return!

10/12/2025: I bought loads of things to try. Pork spring rolls, kebabs, saucy dishes, samosas, shrimp fritters. Everything was SO GOOD! And considering how much food I left with, the price was really good! I highly recommend you go and try it! And the cherry on top, the owner and the employee are very friendly 😌 I'll be back

Away from the tourist crowds, it's a friendly place where you'll feel like a local. The service is fast, the coffee is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. A simple, clean, and very welcoming establishment. Great location, friendly service, and a very pleasant terrace. We stopped for a short break on our Bergerac/Dordogne route and were very pleased. It has the atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood café that reflects the spirit of the town. Definitely recommended."

18/02/2026: We came during the spring festival and it's clear that this restaurant is a vital part of the lifeblood of the small village of La Douze! The food is high quality, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious: creative, refined cuisine with perfectly prepared ingredients and masterful flavor combinations. The service is impeccable and the setting very pleasant. A must-try that I highly recommend.
