29/06/2026: Second stay at Mas des Bories and once again a wonderful welcome. Very pleasant room, charming hotel, friendly hosts and a very good breakfast. A place I highly recommend!

11/07/2026: A set menu for €20 includes three starters (one of which is a delicious soup), a main course, a cheese platter, a dessert, and wine. You can help yourself to the dishes left on the table. The owner provides quick, friendly, and humorous service. Ample parking is available at the rear. A very pleasant stop that I highly recommend. Go there; you won't be disappointed.

05/07/2026: Well what an absolute gem of a find not to mention a rarity these days a Routier that’s open weekends the food is beautifully but rusticity prepared and served but the flavours are wonderful good red wine and a lovely friendly host Parking for 10-11 trucks well worth a visit guys n gals it’s places like this that make you appreciate the job we do Please support all Routier and let’s keep them going

05/10/2026: In September, after our visit to Château le Paluel, which I highly recommend, we chose this restaurant and opted for the Feast Menu, which truly lives up to its name! A generous and delicious meal, prepared with fresh produce, some of which came directly from the farm. The plates were beautifully presented, with great care and delicate floral touches. A wonderful introduction to Périgord cuisine in a pleasant countryside setting. We thoroughly enjoyed it! A word of advice, though: plan this menu for lunch, as it's quite substantial.

04/10/2026: Pure bliss. A most welcoming atmosphere. Authentic and hearty cuisine. Bucolic setting. Bonus: buy farm products in the restaurant's shop. Special mention to the owner, who shared the secret to his homemade ice cream with us—a truly kind gentleman. Don't hesitate to make this culinary detour.

14/06/2026: Three days spent in paradise! At the Hautegente manor, we were welcomed like family by Marie Josée, Patrick, and all the staff! Hautegente is a unique place that will awaken your five senses: - sight (magnificent setting: garden, house, river, pool…), - hearing (the soothing sound of flowing water and birdsong), - taste (the breakfast and restaurant are delicious and of high quality), - touch (animals to pet, soft linens, comfortable outdoor sofas…), - smell (beautiful flowers and mint filling the lawn, perfect for relaxation) … What more could you ask for?

16/06/2026: A very pleasant place; everything is perfect, from the food to the staff. The pizza crust is very thin, and all the ingredients are fresh. The desserts are homemade. The apple cake was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

25/09/2026: We inquired on a Wednesday evening in September if there was still room for two people (there were still many tables free) and were snapped at with a 'full'.

23/06/2026: Excellent crêperie. The owners (both in the kitchen and the dining room) are very welcoming. Delicious crêpes (especially the "crepe fraîche"). A very pleasant setting with a well-located terrace in the picturesque streets of Bergerac! Don't miss it! You can even make a reservation! This has been one of our favorite restaurants for several years! We highly recommend it: go without hesitation!

07/09/2026: We stopped for a break on our holiday road trip. They were already out of still water and non-carbonated drinks, apparently due to a breakdown. Then I ordered fries with cheddar cheese, and they were served cold. I told them, and they gave me more, but they were barely lukewarm. The small towel had almost no sauce. There was no toilet paper in the restroom. The wait was very long, even though there were six of us in the restaurant. Considering McDonald's prices these days, we were disappointed.

01/09/2026: One of the best McDonald's restaurants I've ever visited. Of course, you can't expect too much from fast food, but for the industry, the food was of very good quality. The wait times were also quite short, and the staff was very friendly. Even the restrooms seemed clean, which is rather unusual for other restaurants in this chain.
