19/07/2026: During our holiday in July 2026, we stayed with our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 13) in Beaumont-du-Périgord, close to the beautiful medieval town of Monpazier. There, we discovered Chez Minou, a cozy restaurant where we ate several times during our stay. That really says it all! Parking is easy thanks to the free car park on the outskirts of the town. From there, you can walk right to the restaurant. The dishes were delicious, every single one of them, made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Additionally, we were always greeted warmly, and the service was particularly warm and attentive. In short: highly recommended for anyone staying near Monpazier. We will definitely be back to eat here on our next visit!

09/07/2026: Tonight, for my birthday, I had the pleasure of discovering L’Escapade des Sens in Thiviers. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm, and the service impeccable. We enjoyed a five-course menu, accompanied by three amuse-bouches, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was as beautiful as it was flavorful. The servers were incredibly attentive, smiling, and very pleasant, and the pace between courses was perfectly controlled. A truly wonderful discovery, which I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of fine cuisine. A must-try!

04/07/2026: Re-tested and approved in July. Slightly too generous a portion, but absolutely top-notch from start to finish—a feast for the senses. The wine pairing was interesting; luckily, we only ordered one bottle for two people. Congratulations and best of luck!

02/08/2026: I'm from Bergerac and I hadn't yet eaten at this restaurant. A good place to eat: a small menu but with traditional, simple, and very good dishes (snail casserole, duck parmentier) that seem homemade, a friendly waitress, and a terrace with awnings to protect against the sun. There are always a few hiccups wherever we eat, so I won't dwell on that. I recommend it.

05/07/2026: Excellent experience, the chef is passionate about satisfying our taste buds. I recommend this restaurant with its very tasty and generous dishes and a terrace shaded by a lovely plane tree.

03/08/2026: On our return journey along the back roads, we took the time to stop for our 5-month-old daughter and discovered this village restaurant. What a find! A warm and friendly place, a 5-star welcome, and such kindness from the owner and her daughter (I think). And what can I say about the superb terrace and the beautiful interior, and the food prepared with taste and passion?

23/07/2026: Simple but tasty food made with good ingredients at a reasonable price. I don't regret this stop in Echourgnac at all between two business trips.

18/07/2026: A classic village café-brasserie with a tasteful interior and a superb shaded terrace. Attentive and friendly staff. Quick service. Prices are average for this very touristy area, but the food is high quality. A great location. I recommend it.

23/06/2026: Excellent crêperie. The owners (both in the kitchen and the dining room) are very welcoming. Delicious crêpes (especially the "crepe fraîche"). A very pleasant setting with a well-located terrace in the picturesque streets of Bergerac! Don't miss it! You can even make a reservation! This has been one of our favorite restaurants for several years! We highly recommend it: go without hesitation!

06/08/2026: It was a very good experience at Sakura in Trélissac, near Périgueux. The restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the staff is welcoming. The dishes are varied, well-presented, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The sushi, maki, bento boxes, and skewers were very good. There's a wide selection to suit all tastes. It's a great place to spend time with family, friends, or as a couple. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

14/10/2025: Out on our bikes travelling around Sarlat... Found this little GEM PIZZA SHOP. Pizza was made all fresh...owners were lovely & very accomodating, made us feel so welcome, i had a beer, wife had a glass of wine. we had the 13in to share Marianas Pizza, Oh my gosh was it good. It looked and tasted amazing.... Looked at the good rating on google....so glad we came here. Would definitely recomend a visit for fresh quality pizza

25/07/2026: Excellent and surprising wines, with very good recommendations. Excellent cuisine, simple yet sophisticated and very well prepared. Finally, a very pleasant view of the river, a restaurant decorated with tasteful vintage finds. In short, a great place, we'll be back!
