12/02/2026: The receptionist was very professional and extremely attentive. Very pleasant, a real ray of sunshine despite the gloomy weather. The bedding was comfortable. The room was clean, although a little freshening up would have been nice.

04/02/2026: I just stayed at this hotel Sunday evening. The welcome was super friendly, and the same in the morning. Breakfast had a really good selection. The room was simple, but I slept very well and there was no noise. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Bergerac. Best of luck to the staff!

03/02/2026: The owner was very friendly and understood our broken French. We got kebab wraps with fries. The kebab was large, filling and delicious. The fries were hot (even after walking to our accommodation), crispy and salty, perfect.

20/11/2025: Really tasty! Had falafel in lovely bread with great sauce and great chips on the side. Friendly and quick service. Really recommended. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

25/03/2026: Neither good nor bad. This hotel must have seen better days. The bedding was very comfortable. Our room faced the road, and we didn't hear a thing. The bathroom in our room is outdated and needs renovating. As for the reception, I wouldn't call it warm, but rather distant, and a smile was hard to come by. We didn't have breakfast there.

01/01/2026: Very good, but not enough staff to serve everyone they had at lunchtime on December 25th. Best of luck to them. However, it was very good.

24/02/2026: Very tired God forgotten place with food that reminded me of post war times and where cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate and costs 4 euros per coffee even though the price on the machine clearly states 2.60 euros. It took 5 min for someone to come out from the kitchen to serve us. Food and deco looked so uninviting that we decided to just order a coffee and leave. I would not recommend.

10/02/2026: Update from January 10, 2026: Back at this cafe and it was very, very good, simple, and inexpensive. Basic but very tasty starters. Main course: roast chicken, super delicious, with green vegetables, potatoes, and jus. Absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a generous portion! A small chocolate mousse-style dessert, so very good. I loved it because it was well-prepared and homemade; it was absolutely delicious, well done! Original post: Great food. We had the chicken escalope with tarragon sauce, which was to die for: perfectly tender, flavorful, a delight. The vegetables were great. The welcome was incredibly kind and pleasant; we felt very comfortable. The decor is very nice. In short, a good cafe-style restaurant, but of high quality. Just a slightly smaller selection of starters and desserts, but it's not a big deal. Thank you to the owners.

18/03/2026: I'm fed up, every order is the same, things are missing and when we call they don't answer, it's starting to get ridiculous.

14/03/2026: One star for the location + two stars for the food. It's nothing to write home about, but it's decent; neither disappointed nor pleasantly surprised. However, the service is deplorable and unpleasant. After a five-minute wait in the entrance, even though the restaurant was practically empty, and a fifteen-minute wait at our table without a menu, he came to take our order, saying, "Don't sulk, I'm here." We weren't sulking, we were just waiting for the menu. Anyway. We asked for the menu, we chose our order, only to be told in the end that we couldn't order what we wanted because they weren't offering it at the moment. Sorry, but that's usually announced when you give them the menu. We ignored it; we were on vacation. When it came time to pay, we were met with a verbal tirade about the "meal voucher mafia" when we asked if they accepted restaurant vouchers, which my husband quickly put an end to, thank goodness.

31/10/2025: If you're passing through Terrasson and looking for a nice, good place to eat, stop by Banan's Kiné. The owner is very friendly, the daily special and the à la carte menu are a real treat, and all at a very reasonable price. We'll gladly come back to eat at your place.

27/01/2026: Friendly atmosphere, great staff and owners. But I work in the restaurant industry. My experience has taken me to Corsica, the Alps, and many other places. The prices charged don't justify their professionalism at all. Aged meat, okay, I'm willing to pay for cuts like that, but €80 per person for a 1700g ribeye steak, which in my opinion wasn't as aged as advertised, seems outrageous. This was my second visit, and I already found the prices excessive, but why not give them a second chance? It's a shame, even though I understand the overhead costs, energy costs, etc. Clearly, for a restaurant open year-round and described as family-run, they need to review their profit margins because times are tough for both people and restaurant owners. But don't overcharge. As the grandson of a butcher and a professional chef, I know what professional rates are. Making money is fine, but beyond that it becomes indecent and tarnishes the beautiful profession of catering.

11/12/2025: Very good restaurant, excellent welcome from the owner. However, the waiter's sweater wasn't very classy. Needs improvement.

11/12/2025: The wait was far too long, 45 minutes just to take our order. We ordered a main course and dessert without coffee because it had been an hour and a half and it was time to get back to work. The service was questionable. We won't be returning.
