08/07/2025: Last vacation restaurant: a kitchen nightmare! Dishes not up to scratch: small "royal" sea breams? Promised to weigh between 400 and 600g. Well, it's 400g (the waiter, shamelessly, brings us the vacuum-packed fish to prove they weigh their weight: So, apart from proving that for a fish restaurant, it's not fresh but comes from Metro or another industrial supplier, he shows us that they're small and nothing royal!!) Let's not even mention the promised breadcrumbs, which were forgotten, just like the starter!!! The ratatouille side dish was replaced with boiled vegetables and puffed potatoes, without warning either. In the end, the sea bream was served with breadcrumbs without the advertised anchovies and capers. Another huge disappointment. Faced with our displeasure, the waiter yelled at us that his sea bream was indeed royal! The worst excuses you could ever make!!! And the way he spoke to us was hardly worthy of a restaurant that claims to be high-end. If you want to eat well in a peaceful setting: Run away!!!!!!

07/07/2025: We ended up there by chance. We ate the catch of the day: something with tuna, a soup to start with, and a dessert I'd never heard of before. I've rarely eaten so well in my life. It was an absolute experience! It was one of the best dinners of my life 👍

05/12/2024: Mon Dieu, Quand on entre, déjà ça sent très fort le " graillon et la friture " .. pas agréable ! Expérience ultra décevante question nourriture : - frites complètement molles - cuisson demandée pour le boeuf : rosée. Mais la viande est pratiquement crue - le sel doit couter trop cher pour qu'il en soit mis dans le burger ( burgé ici ) Résultat c'est cher et totalement insipide, un vieux MacDo est hélas bien supérieur en goût à ce que propose Gros Fernand

Special mention for the staff, who are not only welcoming, but also very good advice. A taste experience not to be missed, I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

29/08/2024: Restaurant that I recommend without hesitation! You can go there with your eyes closed! The meat is quality, the atmosphere and the service are top notch! The concept of tabletop braziers is very original and has an effect! It wasn't the first time I went there and it won't be the last!

11/08/2024: This is a really authentic french family owned place and would recommend as a tourist looking for the real deal. The menu changes a lot based on what they have. Service was excellent and so was the food. One of our favourite places on the trip so far!

09/07/2025: We went for lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent English. He talked us through the menu and made recommendations. The calamari was among the best I've ever had, with a unique texture unlike what I've had before. It was ace! The bourride was also lovely, and the wine suggested with it was also lovely! An excellent meal and a steal at the price.

09/07/2025: Have been here several times and been very satisfied in every way. Today we were back but thought the food might not quite live up to the same level as before. But otherwise very good. Service top notch and so cozy.

17/01/2025: If you see this review, don't ruin your evening, look for another restaurant. This place is clearly overrated. The prices are above average, the food is worse than average, the service is long and the waiter clearly forgot about us, although there were 10 of us at the table. We had a situation that greatly spoiled the impression of the restaurant. We came to celebrate the holiday with a big campaign. when our evening came to desserts, the waiter said that we could not order the tart that was on the display, since it was already reserved by other guests. We ordered a lot of dishes and the waiter did not warn us that desserts in their establishment must be booked in advance!

27/12/2024: We came today 12/27/24 with another couple of foreign friends to discover real French cuisine, we were not disappointed!! Exceptional service and welcome! In a magnificent setting! I recommend.

10/12/2025: As the bistro was booked for a private corporate event, we had the privilege of enjoying the bistro menu, but in the fine dining restaurant setting. The ambiance and warm welcome were impeccable, the starters, main courses, and desserts were superb, the organic wine from the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended!
