14/01/2026: There's a reason why the Auberge de Mestre Elie has existed for over 60 years, despite being located in a hamlet of a dozen houses, at the very end of a 9km departmental road that takes you from 700m to 1400m altitude. There's a reason why it has been featured several times on regional and national news programs (and continues to be). It's because it's magnificent! The location is incredible, the charming hamlet of Bouchanières, on the edge of the Mercantour National Park. Its pretty little church, its view over the Var Valley via the Daluis Gorges... The welcome is warm and friendly; the hostess is so welcoming and kind. And of course, the food is superb, from start to finish, with a special mention for Eliane's ravioli, whether you choose the walnut or meat sauce (and I recommend ordering both if you're a large group)... The best ravioli in the world! In short, it's definitely worth the trip, which is why it's still going strong after all these years, even though it's a bit of a drive to get there. It's truly worth it. If you go, you're in luck. Call ahead to make sure the Auberge is open (which it usually is, but double-check and let them know you're coming). And while you're there, take the opportunity to visit the Bouchanières honey farm (run by another family), and explore this beautiful area, see the church, and so on.

14/02/2026: An excellent place to discover. The restaurant is small, but well laid out and beautifully decorated. It's pleasant and inviting; you immediately feel at ease as soon as you sit down. The staff is competent and very friendly. A warm welcome with a smile and genuine professionalism. And the food! A clear menu with appetizing and simple dishes, and above all, everything is HOMEMADE. Of exceptional quality! Traditional Niçoise cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere at attractive prices: the €19 lunchtime set menu – dish of the day + dessert – is a real winner!

17/09/2025: It was my first visit in six years, but the owner remembered me and even had the menu written in Japanese. I was so touched by his kindness that I almost cried! I had the Biquette salad that day, and the goat cheese toast was indescribably delicious! It was a delightful dish with plenty of vegetables and mushrooms. The restaurant is near the Vence bus terminal. There is a park right in front of it, surrounded by greenery. It is in a very quiet location, and it is a cozy restaurant that makes you want to stay forever. The owner is also very friendly, and even though we don't speak the same language, his warm personality is conveyed. If you're going to the Rosary Chapel in Vence, this is a highly recommended restaurant to stop by.

13/02/2026: I wanted to thank Caves Rembrandt in Nice for their support during the planning of our wedding. Too often, the wines offered at weddings are quite standard, and I really didn't want to disappoint our guests. So I went to Caves Rembrandt, near my home, and received excellent advice. With a budget of around €10 to €15 per bottle (a little less for rosé and white, a little more for red and Champagne), we were able to select wines that I consider truly exceptional for this price range—a special mention for the red, a Beaujolais whose quality I hadn't suspected and which had been made by Mr. Jeff Carrel himself, a big name in winemaking whose other wines I later discovered. I also greatly appreciated the explanations about the winemakers, the grape varieties, and the terroirs: Mr. Delmazo is undoubtedly a true enthusiast who loves to share his knowledge, and this comes through in his advice. We were even able to arrange for delivery directly to Languedoc, which saved me a lot of hassle with transport. In short, perfect support from start to finish — a huge thank you for everything!

18/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to visit Cave Rembrandt! Max is a true connoisseur; you tell him what you like, what you're looking for, and he'll find THE bottle (or bottles) that will make you happy. Personally, I've never been disappointed, and he's hit the nail on the head every time. He also has a huge selection, which is just fantastic, whether you want to try something new or rediscover a favorite wine. Thank you for your professionalism and passion!

26/09/2025: My friend Nick told me that a guy had recently been stabbed near this establishment so we decided to check it out. Pain au Chocolat was good. No one was stabbed during our visit, so I guess I will also leave 5 stars for atmosphere

07/02/2026: What a magnificent moment! Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the food. The chef and his team richly deserve the 2 stars awarded by the renowned guide. Chef Ogier was a very kind touch, thoughtfully signing the gift certificate and menus we had received for our 51st wedding anniversary. We also chatted briefly at the end of the meal. An unforgettable memory.

24/01/2026: My first experience at a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant, and a successful one at that. Everything was truly excellent, from the bread to the wines selected to accompany the dishes (I highly recommend this option) and, of course, the food itself. The service was top-notch, with an unexpected touch: we came to celebrate one of our guests' birthdays, and the staff must have overheard a snippet of conversation about it and, without me even asking, wrote "Happy Birthday" on his dessert plate. It was a small gesture, but one that was truly appreciated. I therefore highly recommend this establishment.

13/09/2025: We had a few hours to kill before a flight so chose Le 3e for a lazy lunch - what a fantastic choice. The service was great and dining whilst overlooking the Cote d’Azur is always a pleasure. We chose the Chef’s selection lunch menu - which included 3 courses, a glass of wine and a coffee for 55€. To start we had a delicious prawn and black garlic carpaccio - a work of art. For main course it was Sea Bass - cooked to crispy perfection - and placed upon a deconstructed moules-frites with fondant style potatoes, mussels, shallots and a foamy buttery sauce - absolutely to die for. Then to finish we could choose a desert off the a la carte menu - so we tried the hot chocolate and caramel cookie with ice cream. Which I can only describe as heavenly. The glass of rosé we had included was very nice (4.1 on vivino) and the wine list seemed fairly priced for the location. Having just spent 10 nights dining in Monte Carlo I would put this food up there alongside anything we had there - not just technically but in flavour. And the lunch menu is phenomenal value for the quality of the food. Congratulations to the chef and the team - we will return.

29/01/2026: I've been a few times already, and it's always a pleasure! The traditional Niçoise cuisine is delicious and unpretentious. You can tell the chef wants to please. Dishes you don't often see! It deserves to be much more popular.

29/01/2026: The portions are very generous; the ravioli with beef stew are fresh, and you definitely get your money's worth. The fruit salad is fresh and delicious. Everything is delicious, and the service is classy and quick. The only slight drawback: it's very, very crowded for lunch.
