26/02/2026: I'm used to fine dining, and I must say my experience at Mirazur was very disappointing. The surprise citrus-themed meal, in my opinion, deserves only one star, and certainly no more. We benefited from a promotional rate of €350 per person, knowing that the usual price for the menu is €450. Despite this discount, the price remains far too high for the quality and experience offered. Several things particularly bothered me: The atmosphere was very noisy, which is surprising and inappropriate for an establishment of this caliber. Used glasses remained on the table throughout the meal, uncleared, and this was the case for several tables. The chairs were damaged. In fact, mine had a needle sticking out under the seat; when I pulled it out, I cut my finger. Of the seven-course menu, only three dishes were truly enjoyable. My partner, on the other hand, barely ate anything. No gesture of goodwill or special attention was offered despite our complaints. A member of staff had a hole in his trousers and was unshaven, which is surprising for an establishment of this caliber. I would nevertheless like to emphasize that the team was courteous and welcoming. However, I have rarely experienced a fine restaurant with such a discrepancy between its reputation, the number of stars, and its value for money. We came from far away, from the Grand Est region, and returned to Nice specifically to experience Mirazur in Menton. For us, this will unfortunately be the one and only time. This review remains, of course, subjective and reflects only our personal experience during this visit.

08/03/2026: A great find! This restaurant in the city center offers homemade cuisine! The welcome was friendly and the service efficient despite the rush due to the Lemon Festival. Excellent value for money in a touristy town!

23/03/2026: My wife and I spent four months in Nice and we made Le Bistro de Gillou a regular in our rotation. There was always good variety to the menu on the board and the food was delicious. It’s a family run restaurant. The chef produced quality dishes every time that didn’t disappoint. The wife/server is friendly and was so patient with our struggling French.

The dishes change frequently to reflect the freshest market ingredients. ​Great Value: They offer a high-quality three-course menu for 41€, which is a fantastic price for this level of cooking in central Cannes. Wine bottles start around 40€. ​Atmosphere & Service: The vibe is warm, cozy, and welcoming, with friendly service. ​Insider Tip: While we easily found a lunch table on a spring weekday, reservations are highly recommended during the high season as this small space fills up fast. IS CASH ONLY, no credit cards are accepted. ​If you are looking for the best seasonal food in Cannes at a reasonable price, this is undoubtedly the spot.

26/04/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Rotonde. The welcome was worthy of such a grand hotel. The service and the meal were impeccable. We dined upstairs overlooking the ground-floor dining room and the Promenade des Anglais. Afterwards, we visited the lobby and the bar, which are magnificent.

23/04/2026: A superb experience in a legendary setting; the €39 lunch menu offers unbeatable value. You are greeted with kindness and professionalism as soon as you enter the Negresco. Works of art abound between the reception area and the restaurant, where you are awaited with warmth and good cheer. The service is impeccable, with every member of staff dedicated to providing exceptional service. Pure excellence!

11/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at number 36 in Vallauris. The pizzas are excellent, truly Italian with perfect dough and quality ingredients. The tiramisu is also delicious. A very warm welcome and top-notch service. I highly recommend it!

21/04/2026: A well-run restaurant, the servers are always attentive to the customers' well-being. The service is quite fast 😊 You should go for the meat dishes, like the black pudding, which is delicious. Avoid the Caesar salad, which is very poor quality (bagged lettuce, chicken, and Parmesan cheese. That's it.) The roast chicken wasn't exceptional either (the skin wasn't crispy). Be aware that the restrooms are upstairs and the stairs are quite steep.

26/04/2026: A cozy place with delicious food. This place is recommended by the Michelin Guide. We stumbled upon it by chance on our way back to our hotel and had the best lemon soufflé in the world! I highly recommend it!

08/04/2026: The meal was delicious. The waitress was attentive. In short, a pleasant experience.

30/03/2026: What a disappointment... rarely has food been so appalling! The zucchini blossom fritters were still swimming in oil. The pissaladière dough was soaked in oil. The salad was tasteless. The pizza dough was thinner than a cigarette paper. The desserts were like biting into a block of sugar. What on earth is going on? A change of chef? A change of manager? Our evening with friends was ruined!

09/03/2026: A classic, still a great place. However, for a bill of €418, being rushed to leave for the second seating when we hadn't even finished dessert... not great.
