08/09/2024: The risotto was more like porridge, really poor. The fries was soft and was hardly worth eating. The fried sea food was okej, but not more than that. Been travelling a week now in France and this place had the sadest food so far. Maybe the chief had a replacer the night we were there

21/08/2024: Nous sommes des habitués du restaurants depuis des années et nous avons découverts les nouveaux gérants. Ils ont gardés les spécialités du restaurant tout en y rajoutant leur patte. Les suggestions du jour sont excellentes et les tarifs très raisonnables. Le couple qui gère est très sympathique et accueillant, ils ont vraiment à coeur de vous faire plaisir et de vous recevoir du mieux possible, ce qui n'est pas le cas partout. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et encore merci pour cette bonne soirée.

19/08/2024: Nous avons découvert ce restaurant lors d un déjeuner en famille. Les nouveaux propriétaires sont sympathiques et attentionnés notamment avec les enfants. Les plats sont excellents et copieux. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

08/07/2024: Excellente ré-découverte que la Palme d’or entièrement rénovée, magnifique décor inspiré de la marine de luxe à l’image d’un yacht prestigieux ancré dans la baie de la cité du cinéma. Thème retenu d’ailleurs pour La description des menus et carte. Cuisine inventive et surprenante inspirée de la Méditerranée essentiellement poisson .Avec un plat signature que l’on doit sans doute au Chef exécutive Himbert à ne pas manquer les gamberinis de Gènes extraordinaire ! Mais tout le menu était épatant jusqu’à un dessert au citron de Menton qui me laissera lui aussi un souvenir ému . Seul point noir, j’avais laissé un pourboire au voiturier à mon arrivée au Martinez., comme à mon habitude, au retour il a demandé 20 € à ma compagne qui conduisait…

20/06/2024: Wonderful and quaint French bar. The landlady is an exquisite, kind, welcoming person who is really very nice. Anyone who stops in Nice can't miss it.

13/09/2024: Tres bon repas, tout etait bien, mais l'alcohol est cher. The mexican dishes were great, the burgers were good. Sweet potato chips were excellent.

02/07/2024: A super nice place with great decor and attentive staff. The menu is diverse and varied with hearty and tasty dishes at an affordable price. I recommend and will return there with other friends to show them the place

23/09/2024: Nous nous sommes régalés avec les accras, le pavé d'espadon et le filet de turbot. Le baba au rhum était délicieux 😋. Le tout concocté par le brillant et sympathique chef Joël qui a su s'entourer d'un talentueux second Enzo. L'accueil et le service de Thomas nous a rapidement mis en appétit et nous donne envie de tout goûter, ça fait plaisir de voir des jeunes qui se donnent du mal et travaillent avec plaisir et sourire. On reviendra très vite.

Cuisine de qualité avec de bons produits frais beaucoup de recherche dans les plats tant visuels que gustatifs ! Service rapide et efficace quelle belle expérience… Nous reviendrons pour chaque occasion à fêter parce que c est la bonne adresse pour la fête !!!!!!!

26/09/2024: Wonderful family run establishment serving traditional Niçois fare. My vegetarian partner was also very happy with the options available on the menu (not often the case in more traditional French restaurants!)

07/08/2024: Homemade cuisine, the chef likes to cook and it shows in her dishes. An extra star for the vanilla/chocolate cream, a real treat for those with a sweet tooth 😅

13/09/2024: The restaurant was recommended in one of the papers back here in the UK. We had reserved a table before coming out to Nice. There are many eating places to found especially just back from the beach. You can get good meals there but if you want something apart from pizzas and pasta then this restaurant is worth a visit. We well greeted and shown to our table. The menu was short with roughly 4 dishes for starters, main and dessert. My wife and I both chose a very nice starter which was Tuna, Anchovies and salad served in a bread roll. Certainly unusual but very nice. For our mains I had the Roast Beef and my wife had another starter which was the Onion and Anchovy Tart. Desserts were great. Cream Caramel for me and Tart Citron for my wife. We both very pleased and it did make a nice change. Certainly say you must visit. The Kronenbourg 1669 was pretty nice as well.

27/08/2024: Very good cheese and charcuterie shop where I go regularly. The only downside is the unequal reception depending on the person serving you and it would be very nice if customers' wishes in terms of cutting cold meats were not systematically subject to discussion. This opinion is not a release because I have already shared it directly with the store.

24/08/2024: I had often been told about it. And today I finally walked through the door of this cheese shop, and a great experience, a platter of 5 wonderful cheeses for 10 euros. Excellent value for money, a treat. An address that we would like to keep to ourselves.

16/09/2024: Went to the restaurant. Served outstanding food with a great view and excellent service.

14/09/2024: We had dinner yesterday Friday 13/09. We had the 5 course menu. The lobster covered with blackberries and raspberries 😭😭the rest without much interest. Half empty restaurant… Menu.. a box in English with the napkin inside!!! My French kitchen where are you??? Region probably too spoiled. To avoid

08/09/2024: This was extremely hit or miss depending on what you were eating. I agree with other reviewers that the portions were generous, but I'd rather have a smaller portion of good food, than a large portion of almost inedible food. The fries were "a la Maison" meaning made in house by hand, but they were stuck together and gooey. The kids meal seemed to please but the ice cream served with it was freezer burned and stale. I would try to find someplace else to eat if you can.

04/09/2024: Very nice discovery. Despite a busy terrace, the waitress was very friendly and smiling. As for the pizzas, they were excellent.
