19/12/2025: This resort is the crown jewel of Èze. If you love the charm of the village, imagine actually staying inside of it. Many of the rooms and suites are distributed throughout the medieval cobblestone streets, so you are fully immersed in the landscape. It feels like having a piece of the village all to your own. While day trippers can walk the public areas, as a guest, you gain exclusive access to the stunning cliffside gardens. These private grounds are vast and can take hours to fully explore, offering hidden sculptures and the most breathtaking views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Just wear good shoes and be prepared for plenty of stairs. The terrain is steep, but every step is a photo opportunity. The combination of world-class Michelin dining and the history of the chateau makes this a bucket-list experience. It is expensive, yes, but for the exclusive access and the view, it is absolutely worth every penny. DON'T miss it if you are in southern France.

15/12/2025: Excellent whether for afternoon tea at the bar with its magnificent view or for dinner at the restaurant with its incredible menu. Impeccable service. You can go there without hesitation.

05/09/2024: A true paradise for meat lovers! Each dish is a treat, with juicy, flavorful meats cooked exactly right. The atmosphere is friendly and the setting very pleasant. Special mention for the staff, who are not only welcoming, but also very good advice. A taste experience not to be missed, I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

29/08/2024: Restaurant that I recommend without hesitation! You can go there with your eyes closed! The meat is quality, the atmosphere and the service are top notch! The concept of tabletop braziers is very original and has an effect! It wasn't the first time I went there and it won't be the last!

01/09/2024: Nous n’avions pas réservé , on nous propose de nous installer au bar le temps qu’une table se libère . Nous avons été servis et installés au bar avec attention . Il faisait chaud on m’a gentiment proposé un éventail et nous sommes passés à table assez rapidement . La carte n’est pas très importante mais appétissante.. Le cadre est top, l’ambiance est top et nous avons très bien mangé . Les prix sont élevés mais nous y retournerons occasionnellement . Merci pour votre accueil .

20/09/2024: Unrecommendable restaurant, kitchen in what I saw in execrable condition, unpresentable cook with completely black nails. Not pleasant service, server much too confident, too salesy and too forceful... strange atmosphere, and a shame for this beautiful place, but absolutely not maintained. We were disappointed with our trip. We will not return or recommend. TO FLEE

02/09/2024: We dined at the Restaurant at La Chèvre d’or for lunch, which was lovely, the food was good, the service ok - a little rushed for my liking as they were clearly pressured to set up for dinner. Sadly, this is where my positive experience ended and took a rather sinister turn a few days later. My sister and I were walking up the hill in Eze, we had my 5 month old nephew with us so had to take the road, as the steps are not fit for a pram. To our shock, we were then faced with the van from Chèvre D’or, reversing in our direction - and was going far too fast. We were so scared, as we had nowhere to go to shelter and protect the baby, and we thought he was going to hit us. When we went past his window, we told the driver he was going too fast and nearly hit us, to which he got extremely aggressive. An argument erupted, with us eventually having to walk away as he was extremely unreasonable and aggressive. The driver then followed us back up the hill, ( again driving aggressively) to shout at us some more. We were so scared and shocked that we had been spoken to like this, especially from an (apparently) such an elegant establishment. It’s normal for a mother to protect her baby, and the staff at Chèvre dor, need to a - be taught how to handle situations better and b- drive with better care and attention to other pedestrians in the area. Ironically when checking out of our home yesterday, we saw the same van and driver driving aggressively in Eze, so nothing has changed. I have followed up with a complaint to the reception, and speaking to Eva - she was extremely unhelpful and rude, and would not put me through to a manager to express my dissatisfaction, and to warn them that this maniac is working for, what I always previously thought was an elegant establishment. I have also followed up with a complaint to the general manager Aria, who to date has not even responded. I would therefore strongly advise other customers ( especially women) to reconsider visiting this hotel, its not safe to stay here with such aggressive and bullying staff members, who can’t handle being told off for putting lives at risk with his driving. It’s clearly gone very downhill and would recommend the Chateau Eza as a far more superior property.

26/08/2024: This food was below average, part of my meal was cold my beef could have walked off the plate when ordered medium rare. They said nothing to the women at the table next to us that was FaceTiming her toddler on speaker for no less than 10 minutes. Certainly will not need to back to this restaurant

22/09/2024: Very warm welcome, being in the region for the holidays, very good meal, very nice price, we will return with pleasure because we come every year thank you for this good time, very good cuisine, delicious, pleasant staff

09/09/2024: Spent the day on the sun beds - pricey but very very comfortable padded cushions and towels provided. 40 euros in er bed front row, 35 euros 2nd,3rd and 4th rows. The beds were put away at 6:30pm The restaurant was then set up, it opens at 8pm. The food was very good - recommend the salmon in coconut cream sauce, vegetables and truffle mash. Pricey, but worth it

20/09/2024: Nous avons vraiment été séduits par cet endroit, tant par le cadre charmant, en bord de nive, que par l’accueil chaleureux des patrons. Sans oublier évidemment les plats délicieux avec une cuisine maison et des produits frais. Une super adresse à Bayonne, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
