28/06/2024: This comment concerns the bar-tabac which is next to this restaurant. I can't find the Google page for the tobacco bar "Le St André", so I leave an evaluation on the account of the restaurant which is next door. They will work things out between themselves. I went for a coffee at the tobacco bar and a prepaid sim card. The coffee was cold like the welcome. I asked for information on how to buy a sim card, and the person at the counter huffed and mumbled "he hasn't even finished asking questions!" So I ran away, without warning. I know that the restaurant "Le Perroquet" has nothing to do with the tobacco bar "St André", but I didn't know where to post my comment. I'm sorry for the owner of the restaurant "Le Perroquet", but you will make arrangements with the people at the bar-tabac "St André". After all, you have to understand me, I am a victim and I have the right to express my opinion!

23/06/2024: En vacances à Nice, nous nous sommes rendus à Menton pour y passer la journée. Nous avons opté pour ce restaurant dans lequel nous avons bien mangé. Service rapide et sympathique.

18/08/2024: What can I say... Top 3 of my worst golfing experiences in 23 years of practice. The route is simple with a correct layout. On the other hand, in terms of maintenance, it's a shame. Pay a GF at €130 with: - starts filled with weeds whose height is similar to that of a rough - fairways that are in the same style as the tees with some burnt and earthy areas - bunkers which for the most part are only earth with stones - greens which are not even considered fairways in certain golf courses, it is lamentable. Holes everywhere, burned areas and above all the worst: weeds infesting the greens. It doesn't roll (indefinable speed it was so slow, probably around 1.5m), it jumps, it changes trajectory, in short it's worthy of a country golf course that has just opened. By charging these prices I sincerely wonder where the problem comes from: unqualified field team? Golf bankrupt?

07/07/2024: Cadre magnifique à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Service de qualité, accueil sympathique et classe. La carte est bien fournie, la carte des vins aussi Le prix est au rendez vous pour un établissement de cette classe sur la côte. Un bémol sur le service excessivement long… Qu’il y ait du monde ou non… Nous y retournerons, avec le temps que l’on a le week end ou en vacances.

03/09/2024: 10/08/2024 - Building on our experience last year where we were unable to fault the service of the Aiguille Beach Club, this time we were determined to find the fault! Had they extended the way to get to the restaurant? Had the sand receded? Had Canua Island moved in just opposite to block the view? Had the good dishes been replaced by abominable and universal fashion vegan yuzu-kinoa-spelt hamburgers? Alas no… it was even better! Prices controlled compared to last year, reasonably varied menu, truly careful and copious dishes, friendly and efficient staff and - the icing on my boat - a talented singer who gently accompanies our entire dinner. So it’s not yet this year that I’m going to join the angry team! The Needle is really good. We'll try our luck again next time. I'll have it one day... I'll have it! FT -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- Notice from August 2023 After a grueling marathon of almost 500 meters, we finally arrived at this place at the end of the world. The hostess dared to welcome us politely, then did not hesitate for a single moment to seat us precisely at the water's edge, when we didn't even ask for it. It even happened that on several occasions a delicate sound of waves scandalously interrupted our conversations. Worse still, the efficient and friendly service took all of our orders without the slightest error. And how can we describe these dishes of fresh produce, having the audacity to be delicious and inventive. When night falls, it is without shame that a 180° view going from Théoule to Cap d'Antibes catches our eye. Finally, to top it all off, succulent desserts had the audacity to impose silence on us for almost 12 minutes! No, I can say it with the greatest firmness, just like the five other guests at my table that evening: There’s no way we won’t come back! Summary for those whose second degree is a temperature: - Exceptional place, before, during and after. - Varied, clever and fresh dishes - Efficient and friendly service - Clientele neither cheap nor bling... a pleasant middle ground in the area - Prices in exact relation to the 4 previous points: it's cheaper, but it's less nice!

02/09/2024: We were perfectly received. Lots of kindness and attention for our 10 year old granddaughter. The cuisine is excellent, refined and tasty. The service is impeccable only positive.

23/09/2024: Take a walk along the waterfront and recoil at the prices for average food, drink and service. Then take a walk up the alley between Spallato and Wine Pier. Don't be put off by the basic looking place or staff. Sit down, you will be attended to by very friendly & efficient waiters. The food is very original & authentic. Prepared and presented beautifully by the chef. Carafe of wine Bottle of water Steak Salad Nicoise Bread 2 shots ( on the house) 47 euros Best meal of the trip so far. Hoping to come back before we leave.

12/08/2024: A superb discovery with good and varied dishes, a really nice atmosphere and a guaranteed moment of relaxation, a bar that I highly recommend!!

16/09/2024: Story of an evening for a table of 11 people at a catastrophic service. As soon as we sit down, the waitress asks us if we would like water and we order a still water and a sparkling water. We open, following and once seated, the menus and discover that it is 10 euros for 75 cl! She will serve us still or sparkling water in our glasses according to our respective preferences. 1. Shortly after, she refilled our glasses again without asking us and made a mistake by putting sparkling water in a still water glass. She removes the glass and replaces it with an empty glass without apologizing and even without saying anything... at 10 euros a bottle of water, it's heartbreaking. 2. She will bring us a third bottle of mineral water, served and opened, without even asking us if we wanted it. 3. The waitress announces that there is no more hummus, she offers us guacamole instead which we accept. Finally the hummus arrives on our table (surprise). Once finished, the guacamole arrives shortly after too and of course we will be charged for everything. 4. We ask if in the Caesar salad the prawns are peeled. She will tell us that no, they are not. Therefore we go with another choice of dishes. When serving the dishes, we observed on the next table that in fact, yes, the prawns were peeled. 5. We order a bottle of red wine. She brings it to us with wine glasses but does not open it and instead goes to another table, among others, leaving us with this bottle unopened for a certain time... 6. Ordering dessert… After an explanation of the different desserts, we asked for clarification on one of the cakes which visually resembled a financier base. The waitress’s first explanation starts with the description of a millefeuille… Unless I'm mistaken, the Financiers and the Millefeuilles have no visual resemblance. We will have a first description of the cake then after a return trip to the kitchen, we will learn that it was not that at all, the order had been placed. We have not changed our choice, everything is too long and complicated. 7. Error on the bill with two trips back and forth in order to have the correct bill according to what we had consumed and the 50 euros discount because we had gone through the reservation site La Fourchette. I will ignore the bad faith that we had ordered a 4th bottle of water which was not the case. Synthesis The place is beautiful and the dishes are good but… - very/too high prices - Catastrophic service No communication with the kitchen and does not know the descriptions of the dishes offered. No questioning, no excuses and a bit of bad faith. At the price we pay for food and drinks in this establishment, it is imperative to have a service that holds up. Price reminder: The bottle of water costs €10 The espresso costs 6€ Dishes are priced between €25 and €30 >> without any support >> small portions I'll let you decide if you want to try the experience or go elsewhere 😅

14/09/2024: Deplorable service and bad faith are present. Errors on the bill, dishes announced as out of stock (when this was not the case) which we are encouraged to replace with more expensive ones; finally everything is brought and everything is billed obviously, a third bottle of mineral water served and opened without asking if we wanted it. The portions are tiny, the prices very high (€10 for a 75 cl bottle of water, €6 for an expression and dishes between €25 and €30) and the accompaniments are extra. Run away.

25/03/2024: The place is very welcoming and the staff very professional. Access is easy and the location met my expectations. The breakfast buffet is ok. The only downside I have is the size of the room (small) and the quality of cleaning in the bathroom (hairs everywhere in the shower and on the toilet).

06/03/2024: I regularly visit this establishment for professional reasons. The setting is very pleasant, the hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and tidy. A special thank you to Béa, always pleasant and attentive to the well-being of customers, she does a remarkable job!

28/08/2024: Delicious pastry shop, we stopped every morning for breakfast, always fresh products. The baguettes are hot and delicious, there are also filled sandwiches. Excellent value for money!
