30/11/2024: Bel emplacement, terrasse ensoleillé, bruyante mais on ne peut pas faire autrement. accueil un peu à la tête du client, service standard, bonne qualité des plat du jour (18 €) heureusement ! Restaurant pour touristes essentiellement.

02/11/2024: Ensaladas encantadoras! La comida era genial y el servicio genial también. Personal amable y agradable El restaurante está en Promenade des Anglais, muy agradable y limpio y siempre lleno. Sirven una cesta de pan con las ensaladas, pan increíble.

24/09/2024: We stayed in Cannes last week and visited Le Marais on the first night. Loved it so much we went back for a second visit later in the week. Lovely setting in a quaint part of the old town. The food was superb. A slightly scary waitress (although she did mellow a little on our second visit), but the two male hosts were very friendly and very entertaining . On both our visits we were told by people on other tables that they were repeat customers and that the food was divine - they weren’t wrong! Le Marais was a real little gem of a find in Cannes!

23/09/2024: Wow. Situated towards the top of the hill in the old city, this restaurant is the perfect place for a meal. It is on both sides of the cobblestone street. The 35 Euro price fixe is the best deal in town, and the food is superb. Most of us had the steak au poivre for the entree which was prepared to perfection. It is easier to get a table here because it’s towards the top of the hill. Definitely come here. We ran into other people who have been here multiple times on their trip. It truly is a perfect place and the staff is wonderful.

24/12/2023: La cuisine est bonne mais tout est gâché par le service. Le 24 décembre beaucoup de monde mais du coup les serveurs débordés, stressés, bruyants (madame surtout, même chez le marchand de poisson on ne crie pas aussi fort). Je n'ai pas passé un moment agréable du tout. Au moment de payer la cb est arrachée, sans contact automatiquement sans me demander ni sans que je vois le montant, la carte est rebalancée sur la table comme de la m****. Très mauvaise expérience, dommage car la cuisine est bonne.

02/09/2024: We enjoyed their degustation menu. Their oysters were fresh and excellent. The duck was served rare and the lieu noir (cod) was very tasty. The service or kitchen can be overwhelmed. We waited over 30 minutes between courses. The dining room is conversation friendly and they offer tables on the sidewalk. The location is excellent. It is close to la Croissette but far away to avoid the crowds.

15/07/2024: The food is an insult, apart from the tuna tartare nothing good. Even though there were literally 3 of us, the service was very long. Water at room temperature, which in the height of summer is always ugly at €9.50. Embarrassing prices for miserable rations. At this point, however, we're talking about personal taste, terrible both for the location and the choice of music (very loud among other things) (I think it's jazz). The only strong point are the desserts, however not excellent.

19/09/2024: Bad reception, shame for this good establishment. In fact, for more than 15 years, we have been customers of Barrière in Paris, La Baule, Deauville, Enghien and Cannes le Majestic, but it was the first time at Gray d'Albion and it is the first time , that we are disappointed. This is the lack of knowing how to appreciate and manage situations at reception. Our train was more than an hour late, after having spent more than 6 hours on the train, arriving in front of the hotel, the doorman deliberately turned his head and looked elsewhere while I went up the steps with the suitcases, immediately after he turns around, comes towards us and finally takes the luggage. (He saw us hesitating to go up the stairs). An event, certainly unpleasant, but insignificant, which could have quickly been forgotten, if it had not continued at the reception. Before our arrival, the hotel repeatedly asked me the time of our arrival and even when we arrived more than an hour late, we were told that our room was not ready (it was around 3 p.m.) and we still have to wait another hour. This too is not so serious, sometimes we can wait, but it depends on the situation, here we were really tired, after having indicated the time of our arrival, I was convinced that we would have the room ready for our arrival. That said, another customer arrived at the same time as us and got her room straight away. I tried to explain the situation to the person checking us in, but he was unable to come up with a solution, the other employee next to him even looked mocking at our displeasure. I had to ask for the manager. And here again total lack of empathy. She obviously, as if by chance, was able to find a ready room, but while trying to put the blame on us: we didn't see the email, that check-in is at 4 p.m., that it was impossible that the porter had not taken our luggage. So we finally got the room, which we were supposed to have, but the atmosphere was no longer there. Also no explanation on the hotel's services, but it's true that it was no longer necessary.

30/08/2024: Bad cuisine, served unsold dishes from previous days. Porchetta without meat or rind but a slice of stuffed liver and blood sausage hidden under a handful of mesclun, for this restaurant, porchetta served is ONLY stuffed, reheated, salted, same as the stew. This became a very bad food, waste of money, a place where tourists get scammed. Very bad food, what left over from days before because couldnt be sold and the owner couldnt consume it themselves so get reheated, get very salty. Roast pork only with stuffing and not one piece of roast meat nor skin as a Porchetta supposed to be.

13/09/2024: Very good time spent in this restaurant. The food is excellent and the proportions are correct. Good atmosphere.
