19/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After a bad experience at another establishment, we came to Caffè Roma and we absolutely do not regret our choice. A very warm welcome, smiling, pleasant, and attentive staff, even with our one-year-old baby. We immediately felt welcome. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was truly convivial. A big thank you to the entire team for your kindness and professionalism. We will gladly return and we recommend this establishment 100%!

10/06/2026: Unacceptable high-pressure sales tactics and a complete disregard for the customer An extremely disappointing family visit with our baby. While I simply wanted a drink and my wife wasn't thirsty at the time, the waiter arrogantly refused to take my order, claiming he 'couldn't take a single order for two people at one table'. I would like to firmly remind the management of this establishment that, according to Article L. 121-11 of the French Consumer Code, refusing to sell or provide services to a consumer is strictly prohibited, except for legitimate reasons. The fact that a customer does not have an immediate need for a drink is in no way a legitimate reason to refuse service or to attempt to force a sale. This attempt at commercial intimidation to force consumption is unworthy of an establishment of this standing. Appalling service and illegal behavior that we will not hesitate to report. Avoid at all costs.

31/05/2026: A bakery that listens to customer feedback and takes action. I worked with Nicole at La Panetière a while ago, and while not all the products are homemade, a large portion now are. They've even installed a slicer, which is fantastic! I want to emphasize that Nicole and the rest of the team are helpful and friendly. A personal recommendation: try the vanilla custard tart! 04/05/2026: DON'T PUT YOUR LAST HOPES ON THIS BAKERY... This is the fifth time I've found the door closed with a message saying "back in 2 min." Having already waited 10 minutes only to see no one arrive, today, Monday, May 4th at 2:30 PM, I decided not to wait. It's appalling for a business not to respect its advertised hours!

27/07/2026: SLOW!!! We only ordered 3 Caesar salads, and the result was a 45-minute wait for a salad of poor quality for the price. Extremely disappointed.

14/07/2026: A real tourist trap!!! It took an hour and a half to be served, and when we pointed it out, we were met with a rude response… We ordered steak tartare (without tasting it and with no condiments provided), and the suggested dishes were disgusting, greasy, and salty, with practically nothing on the plate. Honestly, it was shameful!!! Don't go there!!! Avoid it at all costs!

08/07/2026: We arrived at 11:50 am, hoping to have lunch together. The waitress explained that it wasn't yet time for service and that they needed to eat their own lunch first. She offered us a seat and a drink while we waited. I completely understand that there are schedules to keep and that the staff also need their breaks. However, the way she said it could have been a bit more tactful. Once service began, everything went very well. The food was delicious and well-prepared, and we had a pleasant time. A little improvement in the initial welcome would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

24/07/2026: Dining here was much more than simply having dinner. It felt like experiencing a true piece of Cannes history. From the moment we arrived, Sophia welcomed us personally, seated us, and looked after us throughout the evening. She kindly shared the fascinating story of the restaurant, which made our visit even more meaningful. Her passion, warmth, and hospitality made a lasting impression. The restaurant offers a truly professional dining experience, from the crisp white tablecloths to the excellent wine list and beautifully charcoal grilled meat. Every detail reflects tradition, quality, and genuine care. This is definitely a place worth visiting when you are in Cannes. We will certainly return, and we send our warmest regards to Sophia from her guests from Uzbekistan. Thank you for making our evening so special.

22/02/2026: A very pleasant little restaurant with good food. We came in February 2026 and had a very good daily special (cod loin with aioli and vegetables). I recommend it.

24/02/2026: A friendly, neighborhood restaurant run by an attentive owner and a young, dynamic team. The dishes are always simple and delicious, and loyal customers and passersby are rarely disappointed. Definitely worth a visit in this area where restaurants are few and far between.

29/05/2026: We tried this brasserie near the Mostri Hotel. Overall, it wasn't bad. The salads—one with fried goat cheese and the other with fried chicken—were both delicious, and the fried food was very light. Simple, but good.

11/05/2026: I didn't enjoy the meal. The Caesar salad had a strong fishy taste, which is unusual. I should clarify that it's supposed to be a chicken salad, but the lettuce was very finely chopped and the croutons were dry and overcooked, to the point where I broke a tooth on them. The chef should be fired; they shouldn't be poisoning their customers. Otherwise, the place is pleasant and the staff is friendly.

24/03/2026: Lunch at the foot of the slopes, in the sunshine, with very friendly staff and delicious food! I highly recommend this place.

03/03/2026: A Sunday out with the family. No ice in our drinks despite our requests, the €18 hamburger wasn't cooked properly and was raw, so it was completely cold. Considering the night I spent there, I'm not sure the meat was very good. Long wait. No smiles or friendliness from the waiters. The Caesar salad was bland and empty.

26/07/2026: Yes, the view and setting are exceptional. The rest... WOW. This restaurant used to be such an institution, what has become of it? The only redeeming feature is the waiter (the one with the shoulder-length hair) who is as kind as he is professional. Kudos and thank you to him. The rest is a DISASTER. The owner, I presume (the elderly lady), is incredibly cold. She's so unpleasant it's quite shocking; even in the worst government office, you'd receive better service than from her. She doesn't say hello, looks us up and down when we arrive, doesn't speak, never asks if we're alright or if we enjoyed our meal, she (literally) throws the dishes on the table, she's incredibly rude to the poor waiter (who, unlike her, does his job perfectly), she berates him in front of the other customers, tells him he's useless, that her mother managed it so why couldn't he? She criticizes him, constantly berates him, tells him he's doing a terrible job, and the other waitresses (her daughters?) do the same. This waiter is truly courageous; in his place, I would have left a long time ago to find a job where I'm respected and my skills are recognized. The old woman criticizes the other customers in front of everyone. She acts the same way with every customer who arrives; it's awful, so unsettling when we saw her coming to our table. You should probably replace those table runners that are falling apart and riddled with cigarette burns... As for the food: well, it's not good, plain and simple. - The octopus carpaccio 😂😂😂, well, actually, it was a carpaccio of unseasoned tomatoes, sure, 70% salad, sure, but the octopus carpaccio? I'm still looking for it. Tiny, bland slices in an equally bland jelly, yuck. The medium-rare beef arrived blue, like, really blue. And that thing... don't even think about attacking it with baby teeth, you could easily lose a tooth, or rather, a piece of a hiking boot sole. The Seahorse salad, the house specialty! Well, 80% salad, a tomato, an egg, and some hearts of palm, and that's it, I think. Of course, not dressed at all, obviously, we had to do it ourselves. No salt, no pepper, no oil, nothing. And that costs around twenty euros, I think. Luckily, the bottle of olive oil on the table is good. The seafood platter, or something like that, was a tasteless ratatouille, two pieces of fish (okay, let's be honest, they were cooked well), a prawn in its shell, and that's it. Two pieces of fish, a prawn, a cookie cutter of ratatouille, and there you have it, 30 euros. Do you think we would have gotten a finger bowl? Since we have to peel the prawn ourselves, NO WAY! And again, no taste whatsoever, bland as hell. And for this marvelous meal, they rip you off on price! Of course. Roquebrune, the beautiful view, people will still come anyway. The dessert was good, though (all is not lost!). I think it's time for management to either get a serious dose of self-doubt—a major reassessment is definitely needed—or simply sell the place so this institution doesn't die or become just another run-of-the-mill restaurant. Stop trying to recapture what you used to be, because you're very, very far from it now. In short, I no longer recommend this restaurant. It's such a shame, considering the history of this place...

22/07/2026: Seaside location above a private beach (managed by the restaurant) with exceptional views of Menton. Decent meal with fresh, seasonal produce. It's a shame the menu isn't available online beforehand. Expect to pay around €50 per person including wine.
