02/09/2024: Bar overlooking the Nice Promenade. Breakfast started badly due to the rudeness of the (I deduce) owner who took the order with disdain and disinterest. Two coffees, two croissants and two pain au chocolat. Horrible coffee, average brioches and pain au chocolat that are definitely a few days old. Far from the French standards which fortunately were lived up to in other bars and boulangeries during the holiday. Total €13.60, avoid.

The waiters are really not friendly, the pancakes come from a supermarket with two grams of sugar and are priced at 6/7 euros.

14/08/2024: En cette canicule, déjeuner dans le restaurant climatisé fut un luxe. Accueil professionnel, service professionnel. Une coupelle de tapenade et des gressins accompagnaient mon verre de vin. Le chef avait préparé du tagliata di manzo, plat italien que j'ai découvert, juste ce qu'il fallait par cette chaleur, avec une salade de fruits frais au dessert. Un repas apprécié !
03/08/2024: Dans une partie des jardins de la Villa, un cadre calme, détendant et bénéficiant de la fraicheur des arbres et des plantes. Nous y étions pendant une période de canicule (30-32 degrés Celsius) et nous ne ressentions pas la température. Par ailleurs, la cuisine est très bonne avec un choix limité mais suffisant. Les salades sont très bonnes avec une originalité quant aux arômes ; il en est de même pour les sorbets. Mon regret est de n'avoir pas goûté aux tartes que j'ai vu en sortant et qui devaient être excellentes au regard du reste de la cuisine. Le service est professionnel. Le rapport qualité-prix est très correct. Nous avons eu la chance de profiter du jardin car la salle intérieure semble être bruyante.

Good morning,
I am writing to tell you about my first visit to your establishment, which unfortunately went very badly.
Around 3:30 a.m., after informing my husband and friends that I was going out to order an Uber, I went out alone because I was feeling oppressed and had a headache. Once outside, I sat for a few minutes on the small step to the right of the entrance, also suffering from pain in my feet. I point out that I was calm and alone, using my phone.
It was at that moment that one of your security agents, a tall man of strong build, with a ponytail, of North African origin, called out to me from afar, shouting: “Hey you, There, get up! Hello?!” Thinking he was talking to someone else, I didn't react immediately.
He then raised his voice even more by saying: "Hey you, don't you understand when we're talking to you? Get up, I tell you!"
When I looked up to check if he was speaking to me, he continued to speak loudly to me, without making the effort to get closer, as if he was deliberately trying to "show off" in front of everyone. the world, making the situation even more humiliating.
At that point, two other customers, shocked by his behavior, intervened to point out that he had crossed the line by speaking to me like that.
These people were obviously as outraged as I was by the way your agent treated me.
Despite this intervention, your agent continued to speak to me aggressively, look at me with extreme meanness, and verbally intimidate me. His attitude was not only disrespectful, but also completely unjustified.
I understand that your agent was doing his job and that certain rules must be respected, such as not sitting in that place. However, there are ways to speak to customers, and respect is essential. If your agent had just asked me nicely to stand up, I would have apologized and complied without a problem.
This situation almost escalated into a fight, purely because of the provocative behavior of your own agent!
As customers who have spent a considerable amount of money in your establishment (we were three couples, and we consumed at the bar), this experience is all the more frustrating. We certainly did not expect to be treated with such little consideration.
I am convinced that this agent would not have spoken to me like this if it were a man or a person of another origin. His behavior was not only inappropriate, but also disrespectful, condescending and deeply macho. He took me for someone drunk or malicious, which was absolutely not the case.
Please note that I work 60 hours a week. I don't come to your establishment to "beg" or wait to be offered drinks like the majority of your customers do.
I come to relax, not to be mistreated by your "security" personnel.
I would still like to point out that your servers were very respectful, professional, attentive and present throughout the evening.
We were shocked, disappointed and frustrated with how our evening ended.
Unfortunately, the attitude of your "security" agent reflects a serious misunderstanding of the principles of respect and professionalism that such a position requires.
I invite you to view the video surveillance recordings, in order to see the situation for yourself.
I would like to obtain his first and last name so that I can take appropriate action and consider filing a complaint against him for his unacceptable behavior.
Pending your return, I thank you in advance for your attention to my complaint and I hope that measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again.

22/09/2024: Apart from the frontage which is pretty otherwise rated for nothing. We are made to wait for hours so that in the end we enter a pseudo 100 m2 box where everyone is crammed together. The music is more than deplorable, dancers who haven't even worked on a choreography. The prices are exorbitant compared to the quality of service. Fortunately, Parisian evenings are there because what a disappointment.
We were solicited in the streets of Cannes by a pseudo promoter who promised drinks and a table with hip hop rnb music when everything was false. Electro galore

If you are looking for luxury this is not the place to go, on the other hand if you are looking for the calm of the old, the atypical, colorful and animals you will be in heaven.
2 starters 2 main courses 2 desserts for the evening meal (low yes it's home) unbeatable price and the cheapest in the sector for half board

21/08/2024: Nous sommes des habitués du restaurants depuis des années et nous avons découverts les nouveaux gérants.
Ils ont gardés les spécialités du restaurant tout en y rajoutant leur patte. Les suggestions du jour sont excellentes et les tarifs très raisonnables.
Le couple qui gère est très sympathique et accueillant, ils ont vraiment à coeur de vous faire plaisir et de vous recevoir du mieux possible, ce qui n'est pas le cas partout.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et encore merci pour cette bonne soirée.
19/08/2024: Nous avons découvert ce restaurant lors d un déjeuner en famille. Les nouveaux propriétaires sont sympathiques
et attentionnés notamment avec les enfants. Les plats sont excellents et copieux.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Between the boss who shouts at an employee who doesn't hear anything, poor thing, and a kitchen that I describe as more than mediocre (my stomach is angry), it's an address to forget ( What a shame because it was so good…..
30/08/2024: Nourriture vraiment pas bonne, accueil plus que limite (le patron invective sa serveuse devant tous les clients et bruyamment)… En bref à fuir et c’est dommage, c’était si bon avant.

11/09/2024: Excellent restaurant familial, en bordure du port. Très joli endroit. Une cuisine très fraîche et très bonne. Dommage que les petits farcis n’étaient pas assez cuits. Il a fallu que je les renvoie pour compléter la cuisson mais ils étaient cependant excellents. Très beau poisson. Excellent baba. Un service agréable et attentionné.

31/08/2024: We have been coming to Cannes on vacation for over 20 years. I sometimes bought baguettes and cakes from this store. This year, several times. Last time, on August 30, 2024, I bought and ate cakes here. The door to the room where the products are prepared was open and I saw with the greatest surprise and disgust how 1 mouse was walking through the trays in which the products were put in the oven: baguettes, croissants, etc. I told the lady selling that they had mice, and she said she knew! It's incredible! These people should know what microbes and what diseases these animals can transmit. And the health authorities should do more checks!
