16/05/2026: Very pleasant. The food was very good, the servers were friendly and professional, and there's a beautiful view of the Nice theater. The service is quick and less expensive than other places on the same street. I don't understand the bad reviews. I recommend it!

13/01/2026: Outrageous! I'd barely walked in at 8 a.m. when a cloud of cigarette smoke hit me in the throat; it was impossible to have breakfast in those conditions! Thank goodness Brioche Dorée allowed me to eat without being polluted!

10/01/2026: Whatever you do, don't buy any galettes des rois! Today we bought a king cake that was stale and a frangipane filling that wasn't almond but applesauce! And of course, nobody tells you that when you buy it. It's a disgrace for a chain like Paul to sell such low-quality products.

12/07/2026: They tell us there's a World Cup match on. They're going to broadcast it, so we sit down and have a drink, which by the way is a Coke that costs €5 and is 75% full of water, knowing that there's probably not even 25% Coke in the glass. That's not normal, considering they haven't even broadcast the match.

04/07/2026: I highly recommend this bar, it's fantastic! You can go there with your eyes closed, friends. The service is top-notch and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly. Thank you!

11/06/2026: The best! Simply the benchmark in the Old Town, established in 1947. Jean-Philippe Gazan, the owner of La Cave de la Tour, is dedicated to preserving traditions. For connoisseurs and lovers of Niçois tradition, wines from Bellet and others from Saint-Jeannet, at the foot of the Baou. Even if you're welcomed in, you've entered paradise. "There are men and there are Niçois," proclaims the slogan above the entrance; it says it all. The best selection of rosés is at the bar. They also have local wine on tap, available to take away in bottles. Always excellent. Consider the small plates for an aperitif (especially the splendid charcuterie board) and come for the annual World Championship of Stuffed Vegetables – it's a truly prestigious event! 24/02/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time I think it's important to say that this restaurant is family-run, excellent, and the portions are huge. We also don't understand the negative reviews. It's a really great place.

10/01/2026: The pizzas were delicious! We ordered them by phone and they were ready as soon as we arrived. The price was reasonable for pizzas, the vegetarian one was generously topped with grilled vegetables, and the crust was perfect. I highly recommend this place!

12/07/2026: Worst restaurant of my life! If you're looking for food poisoning and a stomach ache, this is the place for you! It took an hour to serve a table (and even then, not everyone was served). It's a disgrace that this restaurant is still open. Run away!

02/06/2026: Don’t take those negative reviews, this really is a great street food spot, and best of all stays open late. The wrap bread is baked from scratch in front of you on the sajj and same goes for the crepes. We got the beef wrap and it was amazing got extra pickles and olives and it was so good. We got a crepe sucre and simple is better and very very fresh too. Take it to the nearby fountain.

18/05/2026: I got a cheese and mushroom crepe. Crepe wasn't freshly made, mushrooms weren't fresh either. It was probably the worst thing I've eaten in my entire life. But I forced myself to finish it, so that anything I ever eat from now on tastes amazing in comparison. So thank you Thym Thym for giving me this wonderful gift. I highly recommend other people go there and do the same as me.

17/05/2026: Very happy chap running this little cafe. The Buffalo salad was huge and lovely. The Galettes were delicious and cheesey. All in a quaint square. Shame about the low scores. Will be back.

16/05/2026: We ate there. It was very good. The meat was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. A table for two. With a touch of humor, there's a sign saying he wants to retire and that waiters are scarce, which is why he's alone. However, the service was very quick. We were treated to a short guitar and harmonica concert. A very pleasant and convivial experience. I recommend the rump steak.

03/07/2026: The owner was extremely unpleasant. We wanted to have a drink while watching the World Cup match, and when someone asked for a carafe of water, he replied dismissively, "It's going to be a long evening, especially with just a glass of water." We were clearly not welcome, and despite being a party of seven, he only gave us one small table for all of us. It was very unpleasant and excessively expensive (€5.80 for a soda). There was absolutely no consideration from the staff. I do not recommend this place at all.

02/07/2026: A very bad experience. Five of us came to watch the Spain-Austria match and have a drink. Upon arrival, we were seated in an unwelcoming atmosphere at two small tables side by side. After taking our order, the owner made a comment when someone simply asked for a glass of water, saying that "it's going to be a long evening with just a glass of water to watch the match." When the drinks arrived, most of the tables around us had chips, except for ours. Then, as soon as he realized we weren't planning on eating, he made the five of us sit around a single small table, with no regard for our comfort. The owner was cold and unwelcoming. We clearly got the impression that people who were just there for a drink weren't welcome. In the end, a deplorable welcome and a real lack of consideration for customers.

25/07/2026: A wonderful experience. Professional and attentive service, high-quality and beautifully presented dishes. The ambiance and view are superb, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: We used Flunch Catering for a dinner party, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, generous, prepared with high-quality ingredients, and were a hit with all our guests. It was an excellent solution for organizing a stress-free event. A huge thank you also to Samira for her exceptional service. Her kindness, professionalism, availability, and helpful advice were invaluable throughout the entire ordering process. It's thanks to such dedicated people that the experience was so successful. I wholeheartedly recommend Flunch Catering and will gladly use them again for future events.

21/07/2026: Cafeteria with dirty tables. The food was mediocre beyond belief. The "all-you-can-eat" side dishes were empty and took forever to be refilled. The salads had no dressing whatsoever. And the staff was overwhelmed and couldn't even answer customers' questions. I do not recommend it.

26/04/2026: Unfriendly service that made me not want to stay: breakfast packages with no flexibility because I don't drink coffee, the unpleasant waiter simply made it clear that if it didn't suit me, it wasn't his problem.

23/07/2026: I highly recommend eating at other restaurants nearby! We were looking at the menu when we were immediately approached by a waitress who wouldn't leave us alone. We thought, "Okay, why not, even if it's more expensive than the others." We ended up ordering our drinks—cocktails and a glass of wine—which arrived well after our food... not ideal for an aperitif, as mussels and fries and cocktails don't really go together! The mussels were in the marinière style, but they were stingy for some unknown reason... no sauce with the fries! We asked for water twice, and it finally arrived... long after we'd finished our meals... no one even asked if everything was alright, despite the excessive number of servers... we didn't even try the desserts... I recommend going elsewhere.

26/06/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant for families, friends, or even business meetings. The menu is excellent and varied, and the entire team is incredibly professional, efficient in the kitchen, friendly, and very helpful. Personally, I recommend the pizzas for pizza lovers or the Milanese-style veal cutlet with pasta and Neapolitan sauce.

27/07/2026: Disgusting cocktail, over a 45-minute wait for two rib-eye steaks even though the restaurant was empty. The waitress was far too familiar and only talked about tips. The meat was full of gristle and rubbery. You ask for the bill, they don't even give you a receipt and then don't bring you your change. My advice: don't go there.

26/07/2026: The manager of the establishment is haughty and unpleasant. You order a milkshake, and they automatically add whipped cream with gelatin, of course, without asking your opinion. I refused the order and instead got a non-alcoholic mojito during happy hour, advertised at €7, but they charged me €10 because it was non-alcoholic. The service was slow and unfriendly, with no clear instructions when ordering. I absolutely do not recommend this place, and I certainly won't be going back.
