28/12/2025: CATASTROPHIC We just left the restaurant after paying €80 per person for a disastrous meal! Two tasteless mini-amuse-bouches, a frozen cheesecake where we searched for the cheese, a flavorless chicken stir-fry, a dessert, and lukewarm coffee. Ridiculous portions, tastes that left much to be desired—even the coffee was awful. If you enjoy eating, avoid this place. We left hungry. The food was either frozen or of very poor quality; I don't know how they can offer such a meal at such a price. We didn't eat a thing. On the other hand, the show was enjoyable. But I will never return and I definitely do not recommend this place.

07/12/2025: The place is worth a visit, but the meal is more like a detour for the exit. At that price!! Very disappointed; avoid it if you enjoy good food.

16/11/2024: What to say? Except that we had a great time. The finesse of the cuisine is matched only by the kindness of the servers. And the small garden offers a very intimate setting in the city center

05/06/2024: Endroit moyen attente 1 heure avant d être servis les produits sont dans la boucherie mais en restaurant c est rupture du produit il vous vende un filet de bœuf c est du faux filet viande pas tendre décevant pour le prix

10/05/2024: Parfait pour passer des moment entre amis ou familles , la viande est de bonne qualité, la bière à prix raisonnable et des soirées apéro mix innovatrice ce qui rend le lieu d'autant plus unique !!

11/07/2025: Not positive. When we booked via email, they gave us a room number, but upon arrival, they gave us another one, without any explanation. Thinking it was a coincidence, we made another reservation later, this time asking for more details about the room. They couldn't tell us where they were placing us; they basically decide upon arrival. That's not fair. If I pay for a room type, I want that one. Plus, breakfast is expensive and definitely not worth the price.

26/06/2025: Everything was just perfect. Clean and tidy rooms, clean and very beautiful structure. Kind and very prepared staff. I thank everyone for the wonderful stay. I hope to be able to stay at your structure again in the future. Thank you

17/09/2024: Beautiful location facing the sea, fresh fish, hearty plate of charcuterie at the top, good value for money at the appointment. The only downside is the server, very unpleasant, too bad after the main dishes are good.

04/08/2024: the pizza is fine. the staff attitude leaves a lot to desire. for no reason. the restaurant was empty. they seem to think making it difficult to stinis the way to go.

30/07/2024: Très correct rapport qualité/prix Service de Julien à recommander : premier resto où le serveur va à la demande vous remplir une carafe d eau fraîche directement à la fontaine (eau de La Foux)

03/08/2024: Cuisine délicieuse et inventive. Cela fait plus de vingt ans que j’y viens à chaque séjour à Menton et plusieurs fois séjour. Tout est un régal ici. J’ai tellement hâte d’y retourner dès le jour de notre arrivée le 12 août prochain !!!

19/09/2024: Characteristic place because, part of the old fort, very thick walls in Menton, good food, real French crepes, good service, the only flaw is that in summer only the fan inside the place is too little. Still worth trying.

13/09/2024: Beautiful little creperie. Large selection of different galettes and crepes. Absolutely recommended, always worth a visit. :)

03/01/2025: Repas du midi sympathique, le plat du jour très bien. simple mais bien cuisiner comme à la maison, le seul truc qui me déplaît le bruit, mais cela reste un endroit sympa

04/10/2024: Hemos sido visitantes regulares durante muchos años y solíamos amar la plat du jour a un precio razonable a la hora del almuerzo, bañada por una jarra de vinos locales. vin ordinaire. En los últimos dos años se ha introducido un sistema de dos niveles con una carta de vinos cara para los turistas (a pesar de vivir en Niza somos ingleses tan agrupados en este grupo) y el estándar de la comida se ha deteriorado. La última vez que almorzamos comimos un filete de salmón con dos patatas hervidas sin adornos y sin salsa ni condimento. Muy triste que esta institución local y muy querida ya no sea acogedora ni merezca una visita

05/12/2024: Tous les gâteaux sont bons mais mes préférés sont le perle et le guerande un vrai plaisir, les chocolats ne sont pas en reste.

26/11/2024: Les pâtisseries Lac sont excellentes. Pour nous et notre famille nous achetons aussi des chocolats noirs exclusivement. Les chocolats noirs que nous dégustons sont excellents eux aussi ... Le problème c'est toujours le sac en papier transparent pour les 500 gr de chocolats noirs que nous achetons régulièrement... Donc le vendeur propose des Petites boîtes carrées avec un couvercle qui n'est pas adapté puisque qu'il faut une ficelle pour le retenir... Si j'ai bien compris nous devons acheter 500 gr de chocolats dans 5 boites avec couvercles pour 100gr chacune ! Donc le vendeur nous a " encore" vendu 500 gr de chocolats noirs dans un sac en papier transparent, et à la maison je sui obligée d'installer ces chocolats dans une jolie boite d'un chocolatier concurrent ! Une grande boîte avec un couvercle qui ferme sans ficelle !
