30/08/2024: Nourriture vraiment pas bonne, accueil plus que limite (le patron invective sa serveuse devant tous les clients et bruyamment)… En bref à fuir et c’est dommage, c’était si bon avant.

Between the boss who shouts at an employee who doesn't hear anything, poor thing, and a kitchen that I describe as more than mediocre (my stomach is angry), it's an address to forget ( What a shame because it was so good…..

05/09/2024: Execrable and discriminating manager or waitress. I arrive first at the restaurant, she first seats a couple of people who came after me, they without reservation having even welcomed me first because only one table available and throws me away and tells me no more available. We serve the people who came first with a little know-how. No excuses, don't try to fix the situation, avoid zero customer service.
05/08/2024: I wanted to have a coffee with my one and a half year old son, the customers on the terrace and ourselves, but we were chased away because the waiter wanted bigger orders. We got yelled at!😂 All the customers wanting coffee had to leave the terrace.... 😀
I advise against it!

29/09/2024: I should have read the reviews first. Magicians, a burnt pizza underneath and an uncooked top. I won't talk about the waiters who are more busy with the TV program than serving. I should have gone opposite... to the McDonald's. To flee.
16/09/2024: We did not check reviews before coming into this restaurant…big mistake. We paid €28 for a fixed menu and got a mediocre salad and a sirloin steak that I could’ve bought from a grocery store for €5 and it would’ve tasted better. Service was awful, waited an hour for our steak. Waiters were standing around doing nothing. Overall vibe was dead and very cold. This place sucks. Please do not come here!!!!!!

Good morning,
I am writing to tell you about my first visit to your establishment, which unfortunately went very badly.
Around 3:30 a.m., after informing my husband and friends that I was going out to order an Uber, I went out alone because I was feeling oppressed and had a headache. Once outside, I sat for a few minutes on the small step to the right of the entrance, also suffering from pain in my feet. I point out that I was calm and alone, using my phone.
It was at that moment that one of your security agents, a tall man of strong build, with a ponytail, of North African origin, called out to me from afar, shouting: “Hey you, There, get up! Hello?!” Thinking he was talking to someone else, I didn't react immediately.
He then raised his voice even more by saying: "Hey you, don't you understand when we're talking to you? Get up, I tell you!"
When I looked up to check if he was speaking to me, he continued to speak loudly to me, without making the effort to get closer, as if he was deliberately trying to "show off" in front of everyone. the world, making the situation even more humiliating.
At that point, two other customers, shocked by his behavior, intervened to point out that he had crossed the line by speaking to me like that.
These people were obviously as outraged as I was by the way your agent treated me.
Despite this intervention, your agent continued to speak to me aggressively, look at me with extreme meanness, and verbally intimidate me. His attitude was not only disrespectful, but also completely unjustified.
I understand that your agent was doing his job and that certain rules must be respected, such as not sitting in that place. However, there are ways to speak to customers, and respect is essential. If your agent had just asked me nicely to stand up, I would have apologized and complied without a problem.
This situation almost escalated into a fight, purely because of the provocative behavior of your own agent!
As customers who have spent a considerable amount of money in your establishment (we were three couples, and we consumed at the bar), this experience is all the more frustrating. We certainly did not expect to be treated with such little consideration.
I am convinced that this agent would not have spoken to me like this if it were a man or a person of another origin. His behavior was not only inappropriate, but also disrespectful, condescending and deeply macho. He took me for someone drunk or malicious, which was absolutely not the case.
Please note that I work 60 hours a week. I don't come to your establishment to "beg" or wait to be offered drinks like the majority of your customers do.
I come to relax, not to be mistreated by your "security" personnel.
I would still like to point out that your servers were very respectful, professional, attentive and present throughout the evening.
We were shocked, disappointed and frustrated with how our evening ended.
Unfortunately, the attitude of your "security" agent reflects a serious misunderstanding of the principles of respect and professionalism that such a position requires.
I invite you to view the video surveillance recordings, in order to see the situation for yourself.
I would like to obtain his first and last name so that I can take appropriate action and consider filing a complaint against him for his unacceptable behavior.
Pending your return, I thank you in advance for your attention to my complaint and I hope that measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again.

22/09/2024: Apart from the frontage which is pretty otherwise rated for nothing. We are made to wait for hours so that in the end we enter a pseudo 100 m2 box where everyone is crammed together. The music is more than deplorable, dancers who haven't even worked on a choreography. The prices are exorbitant compared to the quality of service. Fortunately, Parisian evenings are there because what a disappointment.
We were solicited in the streets of Cannes by a pseudo promoter who promised drinks and a table with hip hop rnb music when everything was false. Electro galore

06/08/2024: Plage privée sympa pour baignade. Bon rapport qualité prix mais service à revoir. Manque d'organisation. Nous avons attendu 30mn pour avoir notre commande de boissons malgré 2 relances. Pas de parasol ou manque de parasol en dernière ligne
01/08/2024: Vous souhaitez bien finir votre journée à la plage de Juan-les-pins? Allez surtout et absolument…ailleurs.
Manager pieds nus, sa femme et lui uniquement présents pour donner des ordres au service en salle…qui est en ballade et font un boulot de débarrassage de tables. Aucune suggestions, aucun sens commercial. En gros vous êtes là pour choisir un plat, payer et vous barrer. Était-ce bon? Souhaitez vous éventuellement un dessert? On vous épargne tout ça, c’est visiblement du superflus sans parler des plats. Moules à la crème sèches et bien caoutchouteuses, un filet de dorade à 28€ croustillant. Les seuls éléments bons à manger sont les frites. On aurait envie de leur dire d’ouvrir un concept à patates… parce qu’en attendant, ce sont les clients qui en font les frais lamentablement.
Bref, évitez ce genre d’endroit qui n’est pas autre chose qu’un attrape touristes tenu par des incompétents.

05/08/2024: Nous sommes venus manger un soir d'Aout. Quelle a été notre surprise de découvrir que le gérant semblait alcoolisé. Dans tous les cas il était surexcité, criant, faisant applaudir les clients pour un oui ou un non. Son attitude inadaptée au possible, très agitée l'a emmené à faire des blagues nulles, très beaufs. Nous étions à Beau Land ! Nous, clients avons le droit de ne pas rire de ses blagues à 2 balles. Monsieur s'est plaint auprès de certains clients en décrétant que les français ne savent pas s'amuser. A un moment donné, il faudrait accepter que les clients n'ont pas forcément envie d'assister à ce sketch de mauvais gout. Il faut respecter la tranquillité des clients qui souhaitent passer un moment de détente sans être sans cesse sollicités par les remarques fantaisistes et alcoolisées du gérant ! Bref attitude totalement inadaptée pour un représentant du restaurant. Mis à part cela, la nourriture était plus que moyenne. Pizza dégoulinante avec fromage douteux. Les verres d'apéritif ne sont pas débarrassés… Bref, soirée catastrophique, nous n'y mettrons plus un pied, ça c'est certain !
04/08/2024: Muy buena comida, carpaccio boeuf excelente. Nuevos desiertos impresionante. Fantástico lugar frente al mar. Calma y camareros tan agradable.

01/09/2024: Nous n’avions pas réservé , on nous propose de nous installer au bar le temps qu’une table se libère . Nous avons été servis et installés au bar avec attention . Il faisait chaud on m’a gentiment proposé un éventail et nous sommes passés à table assez rapidement . La carte n’est pas très importante mais appétissante.. Le cadre est top, l’ambiance est top et nous avons très bien mangé . Les prix sont élevés mais nous y retournerons occasionnellement .

Chateau de la Chevre D'Or

02/09/2024: We dined at the Restaurant at La Chèvre d’or for lunch, which was lovely, the food was good, the service ok - a little rushed for my liking as they were clearly pressured to set up for dinner.
Sadly, this is where my positive experience ended and took a rather sinister turn a few days later.
My sister and I were walking up the hill in Eze, we had my 5 month old nephew with us so had to take the road, as the steps are not fit for a pram.
To our shock, we were then faced with the van from Chèvre D’or, reversing in our direction - and was going far too fast. We were so scared, as we had nowhere to go to shelter and protect the baby, and we thought he was going to hit us.
When we went past his window, we told the driver he was going too fast and nearly hit us, to which he got extremely aggressive. An argument erupted, with us eventually having to walk away as he was extremely unreasonable and aggressive.
The driver then followed us back up the hill, ( again driving aggressively) to shout at us some more. We were so scared and shocked that we had been spoken to like this, especially from an (apparently) such an elegant establishment. It’s normal for a mother to protect her baby, and the staff at Chèvre dor, need to a - be taught how to handle situations better and b- drive with better care and attention to other pedestrians in the area. Ironically when checking out of our home yesterday, we saw the same van and driver driving aggressively in Eze, so nothing has changed.
I have followed up with a complaint to the reception, and speaking to Eva - she was extremely unhelpful and rude, and would not put me through to a manager to express my dissatisfaction, and to warn them that this maniac is working for, what I always previously thought was an elegant establishment.
I have also followed up with a complaint to the general manager Aria, who to date has not even responded.
I would therefore strongly advise other customers ( especially women) to reconsider visiting this hotel, its not safe to stay here with such aggressive and bullying staff members, who can’t handle being told off for putting lives at risk with his driving. It’s clearly gone very downhill and would recommend the Chateau Eza as a far more superior property.
26/08/2024: This food was below average, part of my meal was cold my beef could have walked off the plate when ordered medium rare. They said nothing to the women at the table next to us that was FaceTiming her toddler on speaker for no less than 10 minutes. Certainly will not need to back to this restaurant

09/09/2024: Spent the day on the sun beds - pricey but very very comfortable padded cushions and towels provided. 40 euros in er bed front row, 35 euros 2nd,3rd and 4th rows.
The beds were put away at 6:30pm
The restaurant was then set up, it opens at 8pm. The food was very good - recommend the salmon in coconut cream sauce, vegetables and truffle mash.
Pricey, but worth it
