A simple and warm welcome instantly immersed us in a family atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, understated, and tastefully decorated; we slept very well. But before that, we had dinner… each dish was an immersion into the Chef's world, accompanied by a unique ceremony, and the staff reflected the quality of the establishment. By far, our best Michelin-starred experience! Indulgence, generosity, authenticity, local produce, finesse, precision—everything was there… The icing on the cake was the privilege of a long conversation with the Chef, with whom we shared our common love for Martinique! We completely understood the world of this exceptional chef and embraced it wholeheartedly! The place and the staff reflect the Chef and his wife! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! A real barrel, complete with a table, chairs, bottles, and a woodsy ambiance—a dream for the introverted sommelier. The cuisine is honest, flavorful, and unpretentious. Intolerances? Handled like a well-rehearsed performance: no gluten, no lactose, no drama. And the prices? Reasonable, just like the diners in their barrel. La Tulipe Noire: where you dine in the woods without getting ripped off.
