05/03/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel de la Place during a business trip. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The welcome was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. One minor point: there was a slight lack of soundproofing between the rooms on the second floor.

18/03/2026: Located in the Vaugueux district, a tourist magnet, this establishment is a little haven that escaped bombing in 1944. The houses are very typical of what existed before '44. And to my great surprise, I really enjoyed this restaurant; I'd even say it reconciled me with this neighborhood, which, as I mentioned, is a tourist trap. The service is truly impeccable, the waiters are friendly, and it's a really nice, quiet, yet welcoming place to relax. The place is beautifully decorated and quite spacious, remaining very calm even when busy. Parking is rather difficult, but since it's a touristy area, it's always a pleasant place to stroll and end up at this restaurant. It's located at the foot of the castle, on a pedestrian street.

21/03/2026: Everything is 100% homemade, right down to the bread. Everything is delicious and refreshingly original, as the menu changes regularly. The staff is very attentive to their customers, and there's seating both inside and on the back terrace. I highly recommend it.

The place is cozy and inviting. The portions are generous and incredibly flavorful. Plus, the seating was beautifully presented. So happy to find a truly delicious and satisfying vegetarian dish made with high-quality ingredients.

31/01/2026: We were very disappointed by this restaurant. We stopped for a meal after seeing the rating and reviews, but I don't understand how it can have 4.5 stars. The eggs mayonnaise was made with store-bought mayonnaise, the savory crepe was dry, and the calamari fritters were dry, with no sauce or side dish. For the price, it's really not good quality.

17/11/2025: Friendly welcome. Don't go there for the galettes. The charcuterie is dry. The three galettes we ate were burnt. Impossible to finish... Not good at all. €14.50 is expensive for what it is. However, the dessert crêpes were good.

23/03/2026: We stopped in Falaise today for a quick lunch and were very pleased with this restaurant, both for the quality of the service and the meal, all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely return.
