02/09/2025: A brilliant local eatery discovered thanks to Google maps, we would never have stumbled across this place but so glad we did! Beautiful and reasonably priced set menu, lovely atmosphere and really authentic french eating experience. Highly recommend. Top tip: order the Kir Normand apertif.

12/08/2025: We came here by chance for the holidays, and we had a wonderful time. The food is excellent and homemade, with a €34 menu and a €27 appetizer with homemade petits fours. The service was very pleasant and friendly. The setting is simply cozy and well-kept, with comfortable chairs. We'll be back next year.

22/11/2025: Beautiful location, close to the beach. Restaurant: we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Lovely, spacious room with a comfortable bed. Soft towels in the bathroom. Very good breakfast. A lovely fireplace in the dining and breakfast room.

25/06/2025: Brasserie in the heart of Caen. A terrace lined with shrubs that provide privacy from the street: ideal for dining al fresco or simply enjoying a drink. The interior dining room is (very) beautiful, in my opinion. The food is as good as the setting is pleasant. Friendly and cheerful staff.

L'accueil était chaleureux et attentionné, on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Le repas était tout simplement merveilleux : des plats savoureux, avec des frites maison croustillantes et un délicieux gâteau fait maison pour le dessert, une vraie pépite ! Le gérant est adorable et aux petits soins, rendant l'expérience encore plus agréable. Une adresse à recommander les yeux fermés pour une occasion spéciale ou simplement pour se faire plaisir. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !"

The meal was a true discovery, delicious and expertly prepared from beginning to end. A wonderful experience. I highly recommend it and we will gladly return.

You are greeted by extremely friendly staff who welcome you warmly as soon as you walk through the front door, who listen to you and who know the products sold very well. Prices are not excessive compared to the competition. I highly recommend!

02/02/2026: A great find. The menu is short, but the dishes are delicious. The staff is welcoming and efficient. The suggested wine pairing suited us perfectly. The presentation of the profiterole could be improved to make it more visually appealing.

30/09/2024: While passing through last weekend, we stopped by chance but also on the recommendation of the shop next door. Very warm welcome from the entire team and fast and friendly service. Very good tasting.

29/09/2024: The best mussels I have eaten, ie cooked perfectly (especially not too much! But exactly what is needed) during my stay! As for the rest of the card, I can't say. The hostess is really welcoming and kind and the staff are attentive.

01/09/2024: Re - découverte du Saquana depuis sa reconversion Nous avons connu ce restaurant à ses débuts il y a 18 ans et avons connu à de multiples reprises son ascension jusqu' aux 2 etoîles La transformation de l immeuble après de nombreuses épreuves suivie de la crise du covid ont poussé Alexandre Bourdas à reconsidérer son offre Et c est réussi Nous avons retrouvé les plats signatures comme la lotte pochée Desserts remarquables, service alerte et prompt, carte des vins très raisonnable Excellente soirée donc Un petit bémol les tables pour 2 sont trop rapprochées
