04/12/2025: Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

01/12/2025: Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)

01/07/2025: Run away from this place! Terrible welcome. I'm from Normandy, and I'm ashamed to see how these people behave with tourists. Unheard of! You should definitely change careers! Information for owners: your employees are sabotaging your establishment, take action! ———— Reply to comment: And since we can't reply to your comment, I confirm that I'm talking about your establishment, not your employees. I also confirm that you should be present in your establishment more often and also question yourself on this subject rather than considering it a misinterpretation. But you're doing what you wish; as for me, I'll never set foot there again. I come to the region often. And when I decide to come to an establishment, it's to treat myself and certainly not to be mistreated by overwhelm, aggressive, and rude people. Fortunately, they still exist! Unfortunately, you're not one of them.

30/06/2025: All the staff couldn't be more accommodating. I spent three days there. They even made sure I had gluten-free bread in the morning for breakfast.

19/09/2024: C'est notre 2e visite et toujours enchanté! Personnels au petit soins. Fish and chips toujours aussi bon et un grand merci pour mon café liégeois sauce au café, dééélicieux! A très bientôt!!

17/09/2024: Wir haben hier am Mittag leckere Crêpes gegessen. Auf den Service mussten wir leider über 15 Minuten warten und auf die Bestellung dann nochmals knapp 45 Minuten. Das ist zu lange, auch wenn das Personal freundlich war.

23/10/2024: Uniquement pour prendre un verre ! Le restaurant vit de son emplacement. Du temps de la maman c'était bien et bon, maintenant c'est juste très mauvais. Moules recuites trop cuites évidemment, beaucoup de mets surgelés des crêpes sans saveur et très peu garnies avec des ingrédients de basse qualité et un service lamentable. Le patron se moque des mauvaises critiques, son restaurant est sur la plage de Trouville, alors... cette terrasse est en revanche très agréable pour prendre un verre, un café, un apéritif. Et rien d'autre !

03/09/2024: I've been here several times and everything has always been perfect! The food is excellent, the service pleasant and fast. In addition, a large quantity of dishes and desserts are prepared on site (if not all?)! A place that has become essential when I come to Falaise.

26/10/2024: Endroit , certes joli et personnel sympathique mais cuisine décevante!! Un plat à 25 euros avec 3 noix de saint Jacques purée qui étalent tiède , du coup pas envie de continuer le repas . Très déçu , nous préférons un restaurant moins chichi mais qui offre de meilleurs plats . Ce n’était pas du tout un régal …

20/09/2024: Certes l'endroit sympa,nous deux soeurs, elle très bien, raie,frite,mais moi,deux cuisses de poulet dans l'assiette étonnant,je comprends pourquoi après. En essayant de mangé une bouchée j'ai compris .le serveur nous demande ça était, bah nom presque immangeable très très très sèches certainement cuites depuis plusieurs jours . Aucun geste commercial.et en plus le serveur sentait la transpiration. désolé mais on ne reviendra pas.

04/09/2024: Great welcome from a brunette with long hair, a splendid smile, surprising kindness, it's rare today to come across people like that, the hotel is clean and warm, everything is perfect, a more than pleasant stay!

19/09/2024: Déjeuner en couple. Nous avons testé le "Menu du jour " comprenant entrée, plat, dessert pour 28,9 euros/personnes. Accompagné de 2 verres de rosé provençal. Les différents mets,très bien présentés, furent d'excellente facture. Le cadre, avec vue mer, ajoute une note romantique au repas. Bref,une bonne adresse à Deauville.

19/09/2024: Je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs car nous avons été très bien reçus alors que nous avions la réduction du passeport gourmand. Un repas délicieux que ce soit le plat, une choucroute de la mer, un régal et un très bon dessert. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir

07/01/2025: Worst Service Experience I recently visited this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was the worst service I’ve ever encountered. The lady who served us was beyond unprofessional and downright rude. From the moment we walked in, her attitude was dismissive and unfriendly, as if we were inconveniencing her by being there. Simple requests were met with sighs and eye rolls, and she seemed completely uninterested in providing any semblance of decent customer service. It’s clear that basic courtesy and professionalism are not part of the training here—or if they are, she missed the memo. The experience was a total disaster. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect and kindness, steer clear of this spot. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

15/12/2024: Ugh. Average quality experience. As a little girl, I remember Flunch as a quality, family restaurant. I used to go there with my parents. We went there as a family, with the children, this weekend. Only the breaded fish fillets at €8.99 and the chicken burger at €9.99 were up to par. Parcontre, the sauerkraut at €11.99 and the banana dessert with whipped cream and chocolate at €2.59: meh. The sausages, already small, had no taste from being reheated. On the other hand, the banana desserts were disgusting: the bananas, used at the bottom of the glasses, were too tasteless, mushy, too ripe and too blackened, they should have been thrown in the trash, the person was in the process of throwing them away. prepare pancakes and ice cream, I understand, I don't like waste but still!! What a disappointment. I didn't expect this mediocrity, especially at the price we pay. I would have been better off having yogurt. Likewise, a small slice of chocolate cake costs €3.59 and a simple small espresso €1.39. As for the topping, the variety leaves something to be desired, in the past we had more choice. We pay more and more for a meal of increasingly poor quality, Flunch has lost a lot of quality in recent years. It's a shame.
