11/08/2026: We had a delicious meal last Sunday. As usual, we asked beforehand how it works. First of all, you are supposed to get your own bread from the baker. Then you go and look around and discuss what you want with the fishmongers. The prices are listed in kg, so you can quickly calculate the cost. We had 12 oysters for 21 euros. Try getting that in the Netherlands. At least 3.50 euros apiece. Delicious! The other seafood is so fresh and tasty that it is definitely worth the money. When you look at the restaurants in the area around Chez Allain, the prices there are much higher. In short, we had a delicious lunch. By the way, the glasses of wine they serve are 15cl for 7 euros; at the average restaurant, this is 7 euros for 10cl. If you happen to be in the area on Sunday, go over to the market first and then have lunch at Chez Allain or one of its neighbors.

01/08/2026: Excellent!!! Top-notch staff. To improve the seafood platter eaten on-site, a few slices of bread with butter would be perfect! Otherwise, don't change a thing, the products are excellent.

06/08/2026: A very warm welcome, our waiter Christophe was very friendly, as was Owen. The meal was perfect, both the set menu and the à la carte dishes. And always attentive service. We had a wonderful time.

06/08/2026: Excellent location. The street-side terrace is lovely for an aperitif or ice cream, and the interior terrace is perfect for dinner. The seafood sauerkraut was truly excellent, and the added bonus was the friendliness and warmth of our waiter, Owen, who did everything he could to ensure our satisfaction, despite the abundance of tourists!

12/07/2026: Surprised. The restaurant was empty, yet the food was good. Otherwise, the tables were a bit cramped; we would have liked a little more space.

18/06/2026: A small, unassuming bistro, but the waitress was incredibly kind. Everything is homemade and delicious. Expect to pay €18 for the full menu. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through.

26/06/2026: During a short stop in Deauville, we were looking for a place to have a morning coffee after a walk on the beach, when the city was just waking up. Based on the reviews, we chose Le Cyrano and for a quick coffee it served its purpose. As the sign at the entrance says “Café & Cigarette”, that is exactly the atmosphere of the place – a typical French café, where smoking is common with coffee. The coffee was good and the service was pleasant, but we personally prefer quieter cafés focused more on the coffee culture itself. If you are looking for an authentic French atmosphere, this may be a good choice for you.

14/07/2026: I received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The team is friendly, attentive, and highly professional. I particularly appreciated the explanations given throughout the service, both for the color and the cut. The advice was clear, and the result met my expectations. A big thank you to Ophélie. The only thing I think could be improved is the salon's decor. It looks dated and lacks modernity. This is a shame because, for a salon located in a high-traffic area, the exterior and interior ambiance don't necessarily entice people to come in. A refresh of the decor would better highlight the quality of the work and the team's professionalism.

11/07/2026: The customer service at Espace Jardinerie is appalling: garden furniture purchased in mid-April was delivered damaged. I must have made 20 calls, each time with the promise of a replacement delivery, which I'm still waiting for.
