12/12/2025: Hello, The setting (exposed stone walls) is magnificent, but in fact, everything is magnificent: the meats and fish are perfectly cooked and the sauces are delicious. The wine recommendations were excellent, and the service was pleasant and friendly; you immediately feel pampered. Why pay as much or even more elsewhere for lesser quality? We will definitely return to this delightful restaurant.

We were very kindly accepted despite that. If you appreciate delicate dishes and inventive cuisine, this is the place to go near the bell tower in Pommard.

16/12/2024: It was a suspended moment combining the atmosphere, the setting and of course exceptional cuisine. Only the price often prevents you from enjoying all of this.
10/12/2024: A great taste experience with a mention for the very delicate house cocktail, the scallops cooked to perfection as well as the pigeon. In the background the accompaniment of said pigeon (salsify and truffle with a too discreet taste). Nice surprise with the absolutely delicious hot mont d’or. Desserts at the top. Wine list a little expensive. A great time.

08/12/2025: Regulars at Le Petit Roi, we were unfortunately very disappointed with Le Bistingo. At least that day, there was clearly a lack of skill in the kitchen. The poached eggs were hard-boiled; we informed the waiter (who was otherwise very friendly and responsive), and he brought a new starter. This time the eggs were cold, almost frozen. We ordered an Époisses burger, but it wasn't really made with Époisses cheese (the same sauce as the eggs, described as "cheesy" on the menu), and yet it was the same price. And there was nothing else in the burger, not even pearl onions or raw vegetables... The fries were still raw inside. A real shame.
18/11/2025: Very friendly and efficient service. A great time and an excellent meal. The only downside was the music; I know, maybe it's because I'm old 😂

30/11/2025: Very disappointed! Calf's head served with one slice, one potato, and one carrot! The quenelle was very bland and swimming in a lobster bisque dish that was watered down! And don't bother looking for the red and black checkered tablecloths; they're only in the photo! This is nothing like a traditional Lyonnais bistro!

04/04/2025: Decepcionante. Llegamos a tiempo para nuestra reserva. No se ofrecen cócteles / vino. Esperamos 30 minutos antes de pedir menús y una carta de vinos. No sentimos que el servicio iba a mejorar así que nos fuimos con hambre después de 50 minutos.

28/06/2025: Very good restaurant with fixed price dinner menu at 39 euros for two courses + tea/coffee. I was pleased to be surprised with a great little amuse-bouche to start. Limited choice, but if you like what's on offer then it's definitely worth a visit. Food was well-presented and very imaginative. Service was very friendly, although did become a bit patchy as the restaurant filled up.

19/01/2025: With all the good notes the expectation was high. But the result is disappointing. First of all, the welcome is not very warm, you are asked for your name before even saying good evening and welcome. Then once seated, between the menu for an aperitif and the arrival of the starter, it's still an interminable 45 minutes (especially since the starter was a slice of foie gras, so not very long to prepare) . This liver looked more like a liver mousse, certainly enhanced with some interesting additions. The bread is brought 2 slices by 2 slices, so you have to keep asking for more. The dish then arrives a good fifteen minutes later. I admit that it’s very good, that’s really the best part of the dinner. Finally comes the dessert, totally interesting, the taste is flat, nothing stands out, it's bland. In summary, we paid a total of €120 for 2 (with 3 glasses of wine) to spend almost 2:30 at the table. It must be the “trendy” spot in Dijon… but in my opinion it’s very overrated. We really need to rethink the rhythm of dinner! and the empathy of the waitresses!

10/11/2025: For my 70th birthday, I used the inn's catering service. All my guests were delighted by the excellence of the dishes: foie gras as good as anything from the Southwest (bravo!), poached eggs with Cîteaux and Epoisses cream (a delight!), and beef cheek in red wine with its garnish (a hearty and flavorful meal!). Many thanks to the chef for preparing such a wonderful celebratory meal, and also to his wife for her warm welcome. Bernard Livet
