17/08/2026: A wonderful restaurant we found on our holiday route: delicious smoked trout, excellent duck rillettes, roast black pudding… And above all, the service was very friendly, all in a lovely setting.

16/08/2026: Beautiful, peaceful setting. Large terrace. We went for lunch; there was a choice of the daily menu or the "Petrocore" menu. Both were excellent. I personally chose the latter. The starter was local trout, the main course a hand-carved carpaccio of local meat—the best carpaccio I've ever had. Even the after-dinner drink was local! Thank you to the owner for explaining the dishes when we were served and also for his good humor. Even though it's a bit far for us, we'll be back.

02/08/2026: We are motorhome travelers, and in Vaunac, a rest area next to the village hall gave us a very warm welcome. But a must-see is the inn "L'Auberge de la Sobronade," where the welcome is more than warm and the menu features many homemade dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The short detour was well worth it. The foie gras escalope as a starter, the half pigeon as a main course, and the chocolate tartlet for dessert, not to mention the amuse-bouche, the petits fours, and the wine (an irresistible Maranges), everything was delicious. By far the best restaurant in Périgueux.

20/05/2026: We received an impeccable welcome from a charming young woman at reception. The rooms are large, clean, and well soundproofed. The restaurant is equally impressive, served by our young and dedicated receptionist. The food is excellent and the staff delightful. The shaded terrace is simply magnificent, and the parking is very conveniently located. We highly recommend it.

10/05/2026: We organized a birthday weekend at this hotel and everything went extremely well from beginning to end. The accommodation was truly top-notch, the meals excellent, both in terms of quality and service. The staff were lovely, always attentive and very caring throughout our stay. The hotel is also very well located and the outdoor spaces are really pleasant, especially the terraces and the little relaxation area, perfect for unwinding in the evening. The entire team did everything possible to ensure our weekend was perfect, and it showed. A huge thank you to them; we highly recommend it!

10/08/2026: We stopped at the Château de Hautefort and had lunch at the Auberge du Parc. The experience was particularly enjoyable, despite a slight staff shortage, as the service was impeccable. The food was excellent, and we would be delighted to return. We highly recommend this restaurant.
